I was so surprised to read the comments about this post office!?! I just left their post office, as a matter of fact I'm still sitting in the parking lot because I'm so surprised by their customer service. There was no line and the two clerks were incredibly positive and helpful. I was serviced by Will who seemed to know all the questions and different types of mailing by heart!! He was helpful and answered my questions when I seemed confused about the differences between different shipping methods. The other clerk was great too! She was talking to a pregnant couple and genuinely expressed excitement and concern over their baby. She even gave my toddler a lollipop!? That's definitely a first for any post office I've EVER been too. I'm still kinda shocked...I'm used to the post office being a dreaded place full of rude and arrogant clerks...this post office was the complete opposite and just became my favorite p.o. and I don't even live in Stafford! read more

Horrible customer service. Horrible phone service. Horrible appointment times. Horrible. Fix your customer service and phones!

I live in an apartment complex. When mail received in your box is not yours, you leave it for the postmaster to pick back up/return it, of course. And I did just that. I even called and verified that I leave it for the postmaster at our mail boxes. It was a rather large pile since they forwarded all mail here from their post office (we just moved here) and a lot of it was from previous residents. Well, a piece of my mail had accidentally got slipped back into the mix when I was sorting through it apparently. I clearly wasn't aware because I certainly wouldn't intentionally leave mail having to do with my health insurance in there... So, instead of just simply returning it back to to me in my box, the postmaster or someone at the post office felt they needed to leave me a message ON that piece of mail telling me, that their 'not my trash can'. How UNPROFESSIONAL and rude. So to anyone returning/leaving mail for postmaster that is not yours, BE SURE to double check it and make sure none of yours is in the mix because you will get this kind of ridiculous treatment. As for the post office itself, I will not speak bad of it, being as how I've never been there yet... BUT, they obviously have one very disrespectful employee working there. read more

I have not been able to get a much needed service from this post office. I have tried for one hour on three different days to schedule an appointment for a passport application. Either no one answers, or they answer and tell me to call back, or they answer and put me on hold and eventually hang up on me. I am normally a patient and understanding person. I know the USPS faces budget constraints and they may face high demand for service that may exceed their staff capacity at any given time, but this is ridiculous: Three different days, and three different times, for three whole hours. Package left on porch not put in a bag ,with snow and rain, completely soaked, the package was small enough to fit between storm door and house door, bank statements not delivered, credit cards not delivered, mail in my box not mine, my mail put in another persons box , have been to the office to speak to the postmaster and well that did not go well either.... read more

On Friday, April 10th, I see the USPS driver sitting out by my mailbox, idling. I figure she's sorting mail or something. Then I see her walking down my driveway back to her truck, weird. So I open the front door, and am so excited, she brought my mail to the door! It's not until I start flipping through it that I see I have a Registered Mail I must sign for, and she checked the box that I wasn't home! WTF? She never knocked or rang the doorbell, my home office is next to the front door, that's how I saw her outside in the first place, and my dog barks like crazy at knocks or doorbell rings. GRRRRRR. THEN, she only put the last name on the card, which meant both my wife and I had to go to the Post Office together to see which one of us had a registered mail, because if you've seen my earlier reviews, getting a registered or certified letter picked up at my post office requires 3 IDs, 2 hours of line standing, and a mug shot. So we go together on Tuesday, and I get to LMAO, because she gets to witness the debacle this time! We go stand in the empty line to pick up packages; there are two clerks working, both of whom do not make eye contact with us. A white guy goes to the guy clerk on the end, and he wants to pick up a certified letter; the clerk goes in the back to get it. So my wife and I get in line (the regular line) since clearly they've changed the rules. We finally get to a clerk (not the guy), and give her the card. She says she'll go get it as soon as the clerk guy gets back out front, and we say ok, and she starts helping the next person (logical). Clerk guy comes out, gives the guy his package, then loudly announces "if anyone needs a package or letter picked up, you have to go to the end of the counter and wait." OMG, you cannot make this ridiculousness up!!!! So now, we are waiting to get the card back from the female clerk so we can go stand in the line at the end of the counter where we were originally, because apparently only white males can use the regular line to get their certified mail. The female clerk said no, I'm going to get it for you, and she did!!! That's why I upgraded them to 2 stars, at least ONE employee there treats everyone the same. Oh, and the letter was for my wife, so if I had gone there and waited the requisite 2 hours, I would have been turned away..... :/ (And the line never had more than 2 people in it at any time, so it wasn't like they were superbusy). I think I'll wear a body camera next time so I can upload a video. read more

Just thought I would let people know I have the best postman ever but on his day off which is Thursday there's no one to substitute with enough common sense to be behind the wheel of a postal vehicle. This post office has lost three packages of mine and I've went online and reported the losses and never heard back. When I tried to find out what their doing about my reported losses they tell me my 60 days are up or they never received my claim. I now will keep any another claim on file. My mistake for not keeping copy's of the others. I never have had any problems with UPS or FEDEX. Just like congress and senate. Another part of a do nothing government organization. Out of all that work at the Stafford post office there are maybe four that appreciate and do a good job. So thankful I have Robert as my carrier for the five days that he works. I wish all at the post office cared for their job and customers as he does. read more
