On July 18, 2025, my family and I experienced a terrifying assault by an Uber driver in Paris. The driver, identified as Noe Oscar (verified by Uber's own app with his name, photo, and car details: black Toyota CHR, plate GF318QM), physically attacked three members of my family, including a senior citizen, his wife, and their young daughter.
After he kicked us out of the car, we told him we would report his behavior to Uber. In response, he got out of the vehicle and punched the father in the face. When the wife and young daughter tried to intervene, he punched both of them as well.
When I began recording this violent attack, he snatched my phone, slammed it to the ground, and destroyed it.
The police were immediately called, and around 12 officers arrived at the scene. Witnesses confirmed what had happened, and the officers themselves saw the shattered phone. Despite the driver's lies to the police (claiming he was not the driver), we had clear proof from Uber's app linking him to the ride. The police escorted us to the station where we filed an official police report.
That report was submitted to Uber the same day, yet Uber has since been unhelpful and dismissive. Despite providing them with the police report, photos, videos, and witness testimony multiple times, Uber repeatedly responds as if no report has been filed. Instead of protecting their customers, they seem more concerned with protecting their reputation.
This man is violent and dangerous. He assaulted three people, including a woman and a child, and destroyed property in front of multiple witnesses. He should not only be permanently banned from Uber but also face criminal charges.
Our family has never used Uber again since this horrifying attack. read more
