Once he cannot steamroll over you, he will just stop responding and not fix or complete the job - leaving the bathroom non-functional. They breached the contract and would not pay sub-contractors so I had to pay the sub-contractors on top of what I paid OMG in order to prevent liens from being put on our residence. This nightmare started in October of 2023. It's mid-Feb. of 2024 and I have had to find other sub-contractors to finish what OMG couldn't. The owner doesn't answer or return calls or provide a completion date. Due to our special circumstances, the owner told a sub-contractor that he needed to keep the cost as low as possible and then he passed a 64% mark-up on the cabinets to me. I cannot advise strongly enough to stay away from this company.

Matt was friendly, professional, and readily accessible by phone and text. Elbow Room handled all permitting and electrical in addition to the build itself. One small constructive criticism for Elbow Room: I think you can improve your post-build clean-up process to get up more of the small stuff. On our build the clean-up crew disposed of all the large construction scraps and material, but they overlooked a lot of small bits and pieces. We continued to find and pick up nails, screws, and other small bits of construction debris for a few weeks after everything was done. Would be nice if a very thorough site clean-up process could have gotten more of that. That's a minor issue though. Everything went smoothly and we're 100% satisfied with the quality and comfort of our finished product. I wouldn't hesitate to use Elbow Room again or to recommend them.
