At first, everything seemed fine -- but within a month, the phone started randomly shutting off and overheating, just like it did before the repair. When I returned, expecting them to stand behind their work, they refused to replace the faulty battery they had installed. I even showed them my bank statement clearly proving I paid for the service on April 10th. But because I "wasn't in their system," they told me I'd have to pay again just for them to look at it. To make matters worse, the two men working were rude, dismissive, and acted like I was being unreasonable for expecting a working battery and basic accountability. Most reputable shops offer at least a 90-day warranty -- apparently, not this one. Now I'm out the money, and still have a phone that doesn't work. Total waste of time and money. Shady practices, poor customer service, and zero responsibility. Stay far away. **REPLYING to Devon's response below** I want to clarify that my intention was never to "extort" anyone. I simply sought support for a repair I genuinely believed had been completed at your shop. Which it was. When I provided my bank statement as proof of the transaction, you declined to honor it because the repair wasn't found in your system. I then asked if you could open the phone and inspect the battery--since it was replaced at your location--and you stated that I would be charged again just to have it examined. Accusing me of leaving a fake review or acting unfairly is both inappropriate and unprofessional. I approached this situation with a willingness to resolve the issue respectfully, but your dismissive tone and assumptions have made it clear that customer service and constructive dialogue are not your priorities.

I've never bought a new battery that wasn't charged up. I jumped the battery Drove about 20 miles came home and the next morning I went to start bike and there was no charge in the battery. I thought I must've done something wrong on the install? Then then I checked the voltage comming out of the battery and it was 12.5 V I turn the key the voltage went down to 4 1/2 V (the battery was dead!). They sold me a used battery that was some ones core exchange for a new one. I went to BP+ and they said that they couldn't warrant me a new one until they try to charge this old one for 1 hour. Are you kidding me! How do you run a business like that? I argued for about a for an 45min and got my money back. Wow!!

When I arrived at Battery + Bulbs, the manager Allan Campbell, was very attentive to understand what I was attempting to accomplish. Not only was he very knowledgeable, but also he provided exactly what I needed. After installing the new lighting which I was very satisfied with the results, I returned to the store to buy additional LED bulbs. I highly recommend this store for lighting or batteries without question.

Amazon returns can also be made here. Chances are there were other opportunities I missed because I was so busy taking it all in. I hadn't entered a Staples store in years. I was processing my Amazon return in the app as I was leaving the eye doctor and Staples came up as an option. Conveniently, they're located in the same plaza. The young gentleman who assisted me was on his game but not at all a conversationalist. And that's okay because I was able to get in and out and I value this.
