I called Best Buy and never could speak to anyone after 45 minutes of trying. I then stopped in Best Buy and waited 25 minutes to be waited on. Then told I needed an appointment. It would take 3-4 hours to change the battery on my iPhone. I then stopped by uBreakiFix and the gentleman was very polite. Checked my battery and confirmed it needed replaced. He said it would by 45 minutes to an hour. I dropped it off went to grab a bite to eat and went back. It was done in less than 30 minutes and is working like new. I am impressed with their friendliness and speed. Cannot comment on cost because I didn't ask Best Buy want they charged but with the friendliness and speed I will go back when I have an issue. read more

ubreakiFix sucks. Dropped off my business/work laptop due to it having a virus about 2 1/2 weeks ago. Was told by Korey it'd be ready in 3 days. So in effect my business would be shut down for 3 days. When I dropped it off Korey asked me for my password 3x's. He Wrote it down and told me he was adding to my profile notes on my customer profile. Came by 4 days later and Korey gave some excuse bout why it wasn't ready. Told me by "Monday". Called Monday, got another excuse. Went over this past weekend and was told by Korey the reason the laptop hadn't been fixed or worked on was because he couldn't get into it cause he didn't know or have the password. Said he called me several times to get the password but got no response/answer when he called. The guy is a liar, irresponsible, lacks initiative, and probably a procrastinator. He needs to stop gaming in the back room on UbreakiFix's dime and do the job he's being paid for. Got my laptop back and my money back. I just wanted to point this out a while ago I tried to get my ps4 fix buy them n they told me PACIFICALLY that is would be done in 3 DAYS cause I told them I had a water damage problem took them nearly 2 WEEKS to get an answer AND I HAD TO CALL THEM n they told me the the mother board was damage n it needed new parts that would cost more but honestly did I had to wait that long for something simple of an answer I've been scared to go back to those guys cause I have more stuff I need to fix but lucky me I found other places closer to me so honestly I would never return to these guys I do not recommend don't waste your time or money on them messed up part his it was my first time being there as well read more

Brought in a phone s24 galaxy for a replacement screen. Parts and labor was 230 dollars and included a 1 year warranty. 3 weeks later the screen glitches and blacks out. We return with the phone and are denied repair due to having a screen protector. The warranty make no mention of screen protector voiding warranty only physical damage or liquid damage. The phone has neither. The phone was returned to us still broken and without the screen protector on it anymore. I called and spoke to Josh who started his boss and the district manager at denying the warranty due to the a screen protector being installed. This is a clear violation of the magnuson-moss act. I have contacted the corporate office and the better business bureau to file complaints and try to get resolution. read more

I had a laptop that had an issue so I brought it to this store and even other UBreakIFix locations to see what was wrong with it. They did the free diagnostics every place I went to and it seemed to fix the problem for maybe an hour or two once I got home then right back to the same issue. I take it in again and they say I need some cable replaced. I brought it to geek squad at Best Buy and even though it took a while, they told me I had a burnt out cable that wasn't the same cable UBreakIFix told me about. I don't trust UBreakIFix after this because they weren't even able to fix my laptop the few times they tried to and who knows what could've happened to my laptop if they would've tried fixing that other cable? Might have messed my laptop up more than it already was. Another experience I had was my phone with water damage. It had no sound when you tried to call someone or take videos of anything and would take forever to turn on. They did the free diagnostic and ended up cracking the screen! They told me I wouldn't have to pay for anything (even though it was a free diagnostic) and I was left with a still water damaged phone and a new crack in my screen. Terrible business. read more

I was recommended from another place to give uBreakiFix a call to see if they would a have a part for my computer, as well if they would be able to repair it for me. upon making this phone call I was given a ignorant response to wether they were going to be able to fix my computer or help in anyway. The person on the telephone had no interest in helping me whatsoever instead he told me that my type of computer was meant to be replaced rather than fixed. The place before as well as myself had already known the type of computer I have doesn't really get fixed but my computer was a exception. The pair on my computer happen to be a cosmetic repair and which only the kickstand had been broken off and was fixable. Furthermore the persons response towards my computer and what I should've done within was nowhere in accurate response or the right one because if he would just have looked up the type of computer I had and asked more questions rather than going for the ill-advised answer. Then when asking if they would be able to repair it if I were to buy the part necessary from my computer to be fixed The persons response towards question was concerning as the wether if I should allow them to try to fix my kickstand hoping that they knew what were doing. I ultimately decided not to contact them anymore on the matter because they weren't able to give me any sort of information suggesting that they were qualified to deal with the kind of repair I need it. for anyone who was wondering what kind of computer I have it's a Surface Pro 6.
