Fixed the screen of my iPhone 14. He was quick and knew what was wrong by looking at my light green screen (water damage). He was great. Took about 1-1.5 hours to complete. Took in Ipad for a RECOVER error on screen. They set the Ipad back to factory reset and after I took it home and used it a couple hours, the next morning i had the same problem. Took it back and they said they really did't know what else to do and I should take to the Apple store. I asked for a refund of my $70+ since i was back to square one and i was told that the ticket was closed so no refund. Paid for nothing. read more

I came in to get my phone screen fixed. Turns out it was just the screen protector that was damaged. Instead of giving me a new screen protector for free because I wasn't supposed to pay for anything, he sell me another for $32 that's not as good as the first one. It's supposed to be a privacy protector but it doesn't work as well as the first one at keeping my screen private. I think he used the opportunity to pick my pocket. If this happens again, I'll just buy another screen protector at my phone company's store or online or just keep my money in my pocket. read more

This business is poorly operated. I scheduled an appointment at 4:00pm arrived at 4:05 to get screen and the back of my iphone repaired. When the service tech by the name of Tori whom also is the manager came from the back she advised me that the phone couldn't be fixed same day because the replacement piece for the back of the phone wasn't in stock. Which I could truly understand. So i asked Tori can i just get the front screen replaced, this is when the bull crap started. Tori tells me that she couldn't service the phone because they close in 15 minutes. Now mind you my appointment was at 4:00 it clearly states that the hours of operation is until 5:00 pm. I have a real issue with businesses playing with my hard earned money and time. Tori displayed terrible customer service showing her unwillingness to give quality service and working the hours posted to this business. its one thing to not be able to help me because the lack of inventory, however to blatantly look me in my face and deny me service because of laziness or her being a straight up racist. Today's trip was for a MacBook Pro issue and an iPhone problem. Bradley is still here and still ever helpful, I'm going to share some of what I've already written about Mobile Kangaroo when we visited to repair my MacBook Air in Nov 2023. [It's kind of long. Hang in there, their hours are down towards the end of this review.] For starters, I tend to only share when I've encountered exceptional quality, service, and value. Without a doubt, Bradley and mobilekangaroo (Pearland) merit such high marks. Prompt, friendly, helpful, responsive service that's remarkably low priced...really, I kid you not, I was shocked at the value I received. mobilekangaroo is an Apple authorized service provider that repairs all years, makes, and models of Apple phones and computers. They honor warranties and replace any necessary components with genuine Apple parts. Note: Due to licensing agreements, all iPads in need of service must be sent directly back to Apple for repair. mobilekangaroo will diagnose, package, and mail your iPad for you. mobilekangaroo also diagnoses and repairs Windows, Chrome, and other desktop and laptop computers along with both Apple and Android telephones. Key point: while I'm sure the quality of service will be excellent, at present, the repair is made with parts from third-party suppliers. If you're like me, you probs have computer and tablets at home. My oldest is a 2015 MacBook Air. Other machines have more oomph...what can I say, my 2015 is my favorite. Anyway, today it wouldn't turn on at all. We called AppleCare and -- even though my machine was ancient -- I got help. Thank you, Apple. When we stalled, my AppleCare rep suggested I take it to an Apple authorized service provider and provided the names of different local retailers. I chose mobilekangaroo. Apple even made the appointment for me and sent Bradley notes on what we'd covered in our phone call...good job, Apple. Even though mobilekangaroo has been in Pearland for several years, I had never heard of them -- yes, I live under a rock. Finding them could be easier... There's no big sign. Initially, construction was still taking place, then Hurricane Harvey struck and a large sign over the door was never erected. I understand a sign is on the way. In the meantime, mobilekangaroo is located between Power Fit Eats and Astro Pawn. (see pictures) mobilekangaroo is open M-Sat 8:30am - 5pm. Check them out. SKIP THIS PLACE! I drove 30 mins to this place to have my Airpods evaluated. Just to show up to a closed business- that was supposed to be open until 6pm. I showed up shortly after 5pm. Their hours aren't reliable--they open and close whenever they want. I went in to get both my AirPods and case fixed. They only fixed the AirPods, which came in their original box with ear tips included. When I asked about the case, they said they didn't even look at it. I told them that was something I also needed repaired. The guy had no idea what was going on and told me to come back next week when the person who actually knew what they were doing would be there. I called back the next week, and they checked the case, only to tell me there was nothing to fix. Fine, I said--I'll just pick up my items. But then they closed for about a month, essentially holding my devices hostage. When I finally picked them up, the new worker claimed there was no box with ear tips and that it was my responsibility to remove the old tips. But if that's true, why are there large ear tips on my AirPods now? Those aren't my size. She basically blamed me for everything and said I'd have to pay for my correct ear tip size. No 2024 Yelp reviews should've alerted me. Apple made an appointment for me for 2p. Showed up and evertything was closed up even though the website noted that it was open. Located in a run-down strip mall which doesn't scare me except they are supposed Apple service providers. Update: Apple emailed me a cancellation notice while I was on the road. This place needs to update their hours of operation and better coordinate with Apple. They never picked up when I called. No notices on the door. The tech was very good and helpful. I have to have my computer due to work and can't leave it for more than two days. She was very accommodating with the timing of my repair(battery). She must have pinched a speaker wire while reassembling and repaired it free of charge and installed new speakers. I'll let her repair my MAC from now on!!! read more

after my MacBook wasn't repaired (understandable), the repair person sent back the wrong screws with it (I sent it in with the screws out for his convenience. i had to make a trip back out there to pick them up, and there was no reimbursement. Just making specious arguments for why I shouldn't be reimbursed (To be fair, this person may have only been rude (briefly, hanging up the phone without saying anything despite my over-the-top polite show of respect for his time after his wasted explanations) because he was with a customer at the time (I.e. He should be able to defer to customer service). read more

I couldn't get an appointment for my iphone at any apple store close by my home. But the support did list Mobile Kangaroo having an appointment in just a couple of hours. I needed the sim card replaced due to changing carriers. It was stuck and I couldn't get it out. Took it in at the appointed time and the gentleman quickly was able to get it out so I could replace it. I was happy to pay but he said no charge. Support this local business! read more

Skip this place. I set up an Apple Authorized Repair appointment to have my battery replaced. My phone would charge my battery perfectly, but the battery was old and did not hold the charge very long. They claimed to have tried two new Apple batteries in my phone and said that neither of them would charge while in my phone and that in this circumstance Apple would normally replace the phone for free, but I had a chipped screen and if I paid them $185 to fix the screen then they could get the Free phone from Apple for me. I said, no thanks, just put my original battery back in. Guess what, original battery now won't charge either and these guys are trying say it was the new defective Apple batteries that fried my phone and that I would have to go to Apple if I was unhappy with the situation. So, I hand them a phone that can charge my battery and they hand me back a phone that CANNOT charge my battery and they think they are not responsible. I asked him what would happen if they had dropped my phone and broke it, would they be sending me to Apple to remedy? The guy refused to engage and just kept repeating, go to Apple. They refuse to escalate or give me contact details of owner or manager so I could escalate. Ridiculous. Epitome of shysters. read more
