However, when I called again today, June 6, I was informed that I would have to wait until Monday because only the manager is able to scan and process incoming packages. What has made this experience even more frustrating is that while I was explaining my concerns over the phone, the employee I spoke with chuckled during the conversation. Whether intentional or not, it came across as dismissive and unprofessional given the situation. I have used this location in the past because it is convenient and I have generally trusted their service. However, this experience has left me questioning that decision. Had I known my phone would be damaged during the repair and that the resolution would take nearly a week, I likely would have chosen another repair provider, even if it cost more.
