Been seeing Dr. Irina Feldman for pelvic floor PT for the past year and it's been really helpful. Scheduling is the biggest challenge as she's the only pelvic floor PT in east LA but I've gotten some really good tools to help. I was referred to the Burbank office, when I called to schedule the first available appointment was June... it's April right now, so what good is that? The scheduler said she could get me into their West Hills office tomorrow. Great! I took that appointment, only to get a call from the financial rep saying I needed to have my referral changed. I called to get my referral changed to discover the West Hills office is not in network. They don't seem able to get you in and they're a bit of a bureaucratic mess. read more

This practice is a mess. They are obviously overwhelmed, but cannot bring themselves to communicate this proactively to incoming clients. We were kept waiting for more than half an hour before someone condescended to engage with us. They then advised us they were "too busy" to honor the referring physician's request, but could only provide bare minimum services. They then managed to give even less than bare minimum, twice, before we gave up and stopped going. This was a night and day contrast with another different PT practice we had benefited from a year ago. read more

Their phone line has been down for days, possibly longer? They obviously don't want my business. I called a different UCLA appointment line I found on their website and they confirmed, "yes the Burbank phone line is down, just keep trying till you connect." They would not allow me to make an appointment. They just told me to keep calling this broken Burbank phone number until I got through. read more

No one answers the phone during normal business houra of 9am to 5pm so it's impossible to schedule. Have to go somewhere else due to this issue after calling several times for weeks. read more

More harm than good. Complete waste of time insurance scam. Wish I looked at Yelp first. I left and found helpful Pilates classes on YouTube with wonderful fitness instructors who gear classes towards my injuries, who are great communicators and positive people. But UC PT only offer 30 minute insurance driven sessions which perform for record keeping but don't help patients. No time for warm-ups, no heat packs. 2 older PTs literally will poke your butt and grab your hips, shoulders and arms and move you around with no consent because they never asked and continued to do so even after I reported it and complained. They're still conducting business like it's 1972. A bunch of mismatched PT exercises, on photocopies, movements that are square, stiff, and hurt. Kirsten is so disconnected that she wouldn't even demonstrate with a fitness band how to do the exercises, just gave verbal directions and is OCD germaphobe still wearing an N- 95 in fall 2023, slathered herself in alcohol every 5 minutes I wanted me to do the same to me. She'd literally give me directions to stand behind an entrance door with my face to the wall for PT exercises that hurt and put me in danger of having the door smash into my body. No common sense or care. No suggestions to help spine pain, zero empathy, very robotic. Scheduling is a nightmare. You can never get through even though they have 5 staff sitting at the front desk and you'll have to leave a voicemail message and they'll get back to you the next day telling you when they are available for appointments. Zero privacy. During the first evaluation I was separated by a sheet curtain 6 inches away from the next patient and could hear their private info. When I asked Kirsten for privacy she had NOs and excuses. No wonder they don't have one good review after being open for 14 years. Web, YouTube, and Instagram was the solution. I had my 1st Orientation appointment this past week. Overall an excellent experience, very informative which I like about UCLA they explain to you what your health issue is and what they are treating you for and the phases that you might experience during the road to recovery. If I can give UCLA 10 stars, I woudl do it. :) read more

This place makes seeing a doctor a nightmare. They don't care about helping people. They make it impossible to see the doctor, they say they'll put you on hold and hang up on you and not call back, there is no number that ever reaches anyone but V/M. They don't care how much agony you're in, and when you finally get a return call from a V/M they make you wait months and months for a visit, and if three months later something comes up and you have to change an appointment, they cancel all the appointments you set up and make you wait a few months more. It's truly disgusting how they treat people in pain. read more

My sciatic nerve has been a problem for me ever since a bunk bed in a camper fell on my neck at a bartending freelance job to Coachella in 2016. I had to quit bartending, serving, promo modeling, anything that requires me to stand long periods of time. I tried this place back then, half-heartedly, after also attempting acupuncture/chiropractic (for my stubborn little body, it only worked temporarily)...and ironically back then I wasn't thrilled by the front desk or my exercises and I quit 1/2 way through. I needed to go back because my surgery NYE this year and my pregnancy makes my sciatic pain much more inflamed without many treatable options. My doctor encouraged me to try again this year in 2019, and what a difference! I'm completely in love with the Jessica's: one in the front that's funny, incredibly nurturing, doesn't forget to collect copay, has a great balance of fun and duty. The other Jessica is my physical therapist, who is both intuitive and cautious, detail-oriented, knowledgeable, and helpful. I'm so thrilled to come back and see that this place rocks! read more

They call ME TODAY to cancel my FIVE PM Appointment because the PT assigned to me is sick They want me to wait until Thursday for my appointment . I'm trying to GET to back to work ! I was dealing with some nagging rotator cuff issues and have gone to several physical therapists, pain management specialists, and orthopedists for help. No one was as helpful or knowledgeable as Greg. He gave me advice that seemed counterproductive at first, but he assured me it would help. He was right on the money, and the pain has almost completely gone away after one month. I highly recommend him for anything shoulder related. If you can request him when you go, do it. One visit and his advice has almost cleared up three years worth of issues . read more

After 7 appts here, I am impressed with everything. The entire office seems sensitive to the fact that their patients are usually in pain. The front staff are professional, kind and detail-oriented. My PT, Mary Grace, is very experienced and skilled. Greg, the PT assistant, is very knowledgeable and also provides excellent treatment. The providers who set up the ice pack and electro-stim after the session are caring and efficient. This is a special place. Thank you for your consistently superb care. Re: booking. I took my 14 yo here for bilateral shoulder pain. Horrible experience with office staff! I asked the lady who was handling our paperwork at the reception what was her name, as her badge was flipped, she told me: "I work here, you don't need to know my name!". I asked her if she could flip her badge the other way, so, I can see her name, she said: "No!". Then, she started speaking Spanish to another receptionist, and they started laughing. I was so embarrassed. I guess that told me who the boss was! Awful! I am a UCLA grad, but, this was too much to handle, shame on this associated with any UCLA brand. After I gave it a try with several therapists (Grace is good, she is the PT), the others we saw were PT assistants, we just went somewhere else. I am not paying for rudeness. read more

Twice now I've had a printed out schedule of my appt but they tell me I'm not in the system. Another time they cancelled while I was on my way and nearly there. This is a huge inconvenience for someone, especially for those of us who don't live nearby. They are very disorganized and have a hard time updating schedules and maintaining appts. If you need a reliable place to help you with your physical therapy, this is not the place. read more

AWFUL. This is literally the worst medical office I have been to in my life; I'm appalled it brands the UCLA name. They never answer the phone - I end up calling anywhere from 10-15 times at once, and they STILL don't answer - in an attempt to book, cancel, or reschedule an appointment. What terrible customer service. My doctor is a UCLA doctor, they are part of UCLA, my insurance plan has authorized the therapy and even notified me that I was approved to go to this facility - but when I called the form this office had on file had "WW" for Westwood, when they need the form to read "EIMG" in order for them to schedule an appointment! I was told that I needed to contact my referring UCLA doctor, have them fax ME a new form with the right letters, then I was to fax it to them. THAT'S CRAZY! My insurance company gave me their phone number to begin with BECAUSE I HAD BEEN AUTHORIZED TO GO TO THEM! What is the point of having all your health providers under one roof if you still have to facilitate them actually talking to each other!!! I have already made a complaint to my insurance company about this! A UCLA doctor referred me to a UCLA provider, my insurance company authorized it - but I have to call everybody to fax everybody new authorizations!?! What a joke! read more
