Having been to many CorePower all throughout the United States, especially in the southern California area, I can say the studio is pretty average. It's a bit old and needs updating. There is nasty old carpet throughout the entire facility and the paint and surfaces are worn down. They do have one large yoga room that has mirrors on two walls, which is preferable to the mirrors on one wall that seems to be the new trend. The worst situation here is the parking. Westwood has serious parking challenges, and that you only get an hour and a half of parking when you come to this facility is nowhere near enough time to park, get to class, take a shower, get back to your car. I ended up paying $3.25 for just going over by a couple of minutes, and that is charged on 15 minute increments so it adds up quickly. The instructor was a substitute for my yoga sculpt class and she was fine. Her music was contemporary and upbeat. The class was, as the style of classes very hot and humid. The room was filled with 20 year old girls. There were only two young guys there and no one over the age of 40. I personally would avoid coming back to the studio as I didn't enjoy the vibe and the carpet on the floor really grosses me out. TL/dr: not my favorite Corepower Yoga facility

This studio has plenty of complaints all over their yelp about horrible billing practices, not offering make-up classes (when out of town), etc. But because it is so close to where we live, I decided to give it a try. When I signed up, I was explicitly told that the membership was month-to-month and that I could cancel at any time. When summer break ended, I called to suspend my membership, but it was very difficult to reach anyone. I called the studio multiple times and left several messages with no response, which made the cancellation process unnecessarily frustrating. Eventually, I reached someone, but I was told that the next month had already been charged and that I would not receive a refund. They agreed to cancel the membership going forward. However, when the following month came, I was charged again. I went into the studio to resolve the issue and was told they use a third-party billing company and that they "have no control" over billing, and that I would need to contact the billing company myself. The staff was unhelpful and took no responsibility for resolving the problem. Based on my experience, this studio seems far more focused on collecting payments than on customer service or student satisfaction. If you're considering joining, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere and being very cautious about their billing practices.

The studio is located right in Westwood village and very easy to locate. There are parking lots and meters available for parking. The class I took was a booty and Abs class that was accessible to students of all levels. The instruction was great and I felt like I left the class a bit sore and stronger! Everyone there was so friendly and accommodating and the Pilates reformers were all in great condition! They also have all the props you need there! Just remember your grip socks!

I would drive over 30 mins from Westwood to Santa Monica even though in my area there's literally a Pilates studio on every corner. Mighty is the perfect balance of a hard work out but making sure you are safe and won't walk away injured or in pain. I've never looked and felt better since doing Pilates at mighty. I started my Pilates journey after a bad knee knee accident, several surgeries and still not feeling like myself I started private Pilates sessions and quickly moved on to group classes. I've never been the type of person to enjoy group classes but mighty has me hooked. The staff, instructors, classes, equipment and all around environment is wonderful and makes you motivated to keep coming back. The vibe at this studio is younger, close to UCLA, and has a city feel, makes you feel like you are transported to New York. If you're new to Pilates or just looking for a new studio look no further, this is definitely the place to be. And check out their instagram or website as they always have pretty amazing specials. Also thank you Gina, the manager, she always is super helpful and accommodating. You can tell she really cares about her job and her clients. Alexis at the front desk is also always super helpful and has a huge smile on her face.

I usually will take a morning class with Austin or Taryn, but sometimes will take a class later in the day if I have the time. All the instructors I've had have been great. It can be very hectic in the bathroom early morning with people getting ready for work. I always leave feeling like I accomplished a great work out. Sometimes when my body isn't feeling up for cardio, it's nice to have the option to sign up for double floor. The classes are very expensive, but you can get them cheaper through class pass or during their summer and winter sale packages.

I have taken class many times and I always check in on the app before class starts. Today I looked at my app right before class started to make sure I go to the correct treadmill. I went in and started my workout. A minute later an employee came over stopped my workout and said I "needed to leave because I did not check in". I could have sworn I checked in, when I looked at the app right before class to check my treadmill spot it did not say I needed to check in or see anyone at the desk. I cannot believe they would kick someone out who prepaid and booked a week in advance to give it to someone that just walked in. I bought a month of 30 classes for $475 to be kicked out because I did not tap a button on my app just to have the class given to someone who did not even sign up for class! I was outraged and doubt I ever go back to that location. What should have happened is they should have told me I must have forgot to check in and in the future make sure I do that. Then they should have told the person who DID NOT sign up for class that "We apologize the person in class forgot to check in and there is actually not a spot available". People who just show up without a reservation know the risk that a spot may not be available. It was handed so unprofessional and Barry's needs to get their staff better prepared for customer service situations.
