Best year of my college career hands down. Nothing I can write can even come close to capturing the magic of I-House.

It was definitely busy, but it never felt overly crowded, which made it easy to take my time and actually read about and enjoy all the different critters. We purchased our tickets online and used a promo code that saved us a few bucks. Our total ended up being $62.90 for two people, which I thought was pretty reasonable for the experience and the support it goes toward. There were lots of interactive activities for kids, but I honestly had just as much fun learning about everything myself! The animals appeared very well cared for, and I loved the touch pools. The animals would occasionally take breaks from interacting, which I appreciated because it felt like they were being given plenty of space and rest. The staff were also great! We learned so much from the workers throughout the aquarium. Rosy the rosy boa was especially fun to learn about, and I loved seeing the loggerhead sea turtle with a 3D-printed back brace and the octopus recovering from a leg injury. Seeing the care that goes into these animals made the experience even more meaningful. Parking was easy and free, which is always a huge plus. There's also a cute gift shop with some really nice, quality items. It is definitely on the pricier side, but there were plenty of things I liked. Overall, I absolutely loved getting to see these animals up close and learning about them. Such a fun and educational afternoon, and I would definitely come back in the future!

Otherwise, you'll be paying around $40 per person, unless you have an EBT card, which brings admission down to only $3 per person. There are about two sections of aquatic animals to explore. There is a penguin section, a small shark section, and a variety of other marine creatures. There is also an outdoor section with a nice view of the ocean in San Diego, which makes for some great photo opportunities. I've been to many aquariums, and I felt slightly underwhelmed by this one, mostly because of the price. Other than that, it's still a pretty nice spot to check out at least once. Parking: Plenty of parking, and it's free!

The shape of the space makes it so you can see from any seat. The staff was awesome from the concessions to ushers and to the safety and security teams just great people. We took my son to a two night event and the first night I had lost my hat. I looked everywhere for it but no such luck. We checked on the way out of the venue and no luck. They suggested I email just in case so I did. The next morning I received a message back that my hat had been found and they noticed I would be back so they would come find me. Sure enough I got my hat back! Such an amazing group! The seat are comfy and vary spacious. The event we attended had some table set up closer to the stage which we had for night two and it was amazing. My son was literally right in front of one of his favorite music composers ever. The sound is great and the venue is outdoors (which might be a bit crazy if it rains but otherwise great to enjoy on a summer night or even during the winter when its a little chillier). Overall great venue and cannot wait to go back!

I received a notice from the San Diego Gay Men's Chorus that they were going to have two Pride concerts at the Epstein Family Amphitheater venue at UCSD. Specifically, one of the concerts was to be held on Saturday night, and the other concert was to be held on the subsequent Sunday afternoon. I booked my tickets online and they provided a link to parking information, which is critical. The closest lot was about a four minute walk away. If you have a handicapped placard for your car, parking in the handicapped places if free of charge. However, if you do not possess of a handicapped placard, you will need to make an online reservation for a parking place while on campus to avoid a ticket. The concert by the Gay Men's Chorus was superb. The seating is just fine and my view was clear, There are also grassy areas to spread a blanket.

They're extremely attentive, detailed, and are ready to help with any inquiries you have for them! I haven't yet explored every floor and amenity they have to offer, but the spaces I did venture into were absolutely beautiful. So many seating options from traditional desks and tables to stools, couches, lounge chairs, and more! My favorite thing has to be the huge windows throughout the space. The views are amazing and I loved watching the sunset. Parking can be a smidge tricky. There is paid parking in the garage beneath the building. Otherwise, there are a few street parking options available across the street if you're lucky enough to snag a spot. Can't wait to be back very soon! A super nice switch up to my usual days working from home.

Otherwise, the space is impeccably clean and staff is very friendly. Just dont reserve the "rooms" without inspecting them first! The one I reserved for an hour and a half was too dark and dismal, despite having a window. I ended up just using the bright common-space area for my meeting and could have saved 5.5 credits. You cant cancel the reservation on the same day. Next time I know better.
