As I stated earlier, I wanted to use you. I called you a few times after the days that you came by. You agree that it was taking longer than expected but that it was because the Home and Garden Show exposure. You didn't call me, I call you. I called after your visit, but you didn't answer, so I left a vm and text. Later in April, I called you and you answered that time. I asked about the estimate. You said that Danae had gotten my online inquiry and that she'd get back with. I stated that I wasn't trying to rush you and was patient because I want you to do the work. I reminded you that you said, "2 to 3 days (April 14) but it wasn't until April 24 that I got a concrete answer that you will not be doing the job. My contention isn't that you can't do the job, but that I wasn't given the courtesy to tell me that you weren't interested in providing the estimate nor would be able to do the job. If I hadn't called or inquired, I would never have gotten an answer at all. How could I give you a higher rating? You only came to look at the project. I can't grade you on quality, service or promptness because I have no reference point to go by. My review isn't harsh but simply stated as it happened. Danae seems to be the person who makes the decisions on which jobs to take. Maybe a conversation she be had with her if you don't want more reviews like mine.

We originally sought out Precision Estimators because our house plans that we bought online were…read morenot approved by our county. As seen in the screenshots, we were assured that Ronny at Precision Estimators would be able to redraft our plans so that they would be permit approved and build ready. We also agreed upon making some changes while we were working them such as reconfiguring the bathroom and adjusting some doors. We were also supposed to have the roofline be simplified and receive fully build-ready plans and a take off estimate. While we tweaked the design everything seemed to be going fine. We actually really loved how Ronny and his team helped us figure out our funky bathroom layout. But when the final plans were delivered, they were a mess. Our general contractor would not build with the plans we received after finding major flaws with the framing, roofline, various door and opening issues, and a lack of detailed specification notes. We tried to work with our GC and Ronny to try to remedy our plans so that they would be approved by the county and ready to build with but it eventually proved to be fruitless. We requested a partial refund because we did not receive what we were promised (permitable and build ready plans). This request was denied. To not delay our build any further than it already had been, we hired an architect and engineer to fix the plans. After several more weeks of delay and thousands of dollars later, we finally had our acceptable, buildable plans and they were approved by the county within 24 hours. Next step was the take off estimate. Since we already paid $270 for this as part of our original agreement, naturally we sent the stamped and permit approved plans and asked for him to deliver on the final piece as agreed upon. As you can see from the screenshot below, Ronny said the plans are now too complicated and we would have to pay another $350 if we wanted a take off estimate. (Let me remind you, we already felt entitled to a partial refund already for the ridiculous plans). The reason these plans seem "too complicated" is because they are actual builable plans not the travesty we received from Precision Estimators. We have reached out to Ronny multiple times trying to fight for the take off estimate that we already paid for and we have received no further communication. Our experience with Precision Estimators has been disappointing. It has cost us time and thousands of dollars lost. We have requested that we either be partially refunded or that Precision Estimators deliver the take off estimate we paid for. So far, we have heard nothing. I highly caution anyone looking at this company for the same services. Save yourself the time and money and shop elsewhere!

I hired Greg to renovate a half bath that had a toilet that leaked, damaging the sub floor and…read morehardwoods in the hall. The first red flag was Greg's cartoonish quote for work. Greg is a smooth talker and made it seem like it would all be good. He said payment would be due upon completion although there was no mention of this in the "contract." Turns out "Remove vanity and install custom vanity" means ripping out the large existing vanity, sink, and huge mirror and then popping down the pedestal sink THAT I BOUGHT. Period. Red flag #2: When I asked Greg about the massive drywall damage, he said "Is it in the contract?" The agreement does say he does not cover drywall repair, but this was literally left in a demo state. On Day 2, while the entire floor was ripped up with the crawlspace exposed, Greg asked me for a check. I said I planned to pay him with a credit card and it would take me a few days to move money around to give him the equivalent of cash. Day 3 he walked off the job claiming non-payment. After I calmly explained that I could not be in non-payment because no payment was due, Greg came back the next day like nothing happened... All of the insulations under the half bath was wet so it had to go. Greg did not want anything to do with replacing it. I went out and bought insulation and installed it myself. Either Greg or his plumber, Drew, cracked the first sink basin during install. Luckily Home Depot replaced it with no questions and Drew came back and installed the new one. Drew was actually great. I did all of the leg work for the return, so don't expect Greg to actually stand by his work or take responsibility for mistakes. Greg made it clear he does not do hardwood floor repair and I was fine with that. Turns out, my hardwood flooring guy discovered that there was a strange strip of plywood sub floor installed to fill a gap that was not actually supported. We found out why when he pulled it up. See photos. Don't expect structural repairs to actually connect to other structural members. Don't expect your tile OR subfloor to be level or flat. Don't expect a professional job.

I contacted NHRC and Greg came out the next day for a consultation. He quoted me a price that I thought was very good for the entire bathroom remodel. Greg and his other worker were very efficient and even though we ran into a few issues (old plumbing and uneven walls), Greg was able to troubleshoot the issues and did a fantastic job with this renovation. As you can see from the photos, the bathroom turned out beautifully! I'm very happy with the results. Greg did such a great job. I will be contacting him for future renovations. I highly recommend NHRC and Greg's remodeling services!
