This Security Patrol will be responsible for assisting with protecting business establishments and residential locations, which are subscribers of our Armed Mobile Patrol Service. There is an increasing need for Security Services due to financial circumstances surrounding the current global pandemic and the new challenges involved with the Pre-Trial release of criminal suspects, many business owners and residents of our community are seeking security services. WE ARE HERE TO HELP YOU! We have created a unique service that allows your establishment to have security protection at an affordable cost. By creating Mobile Patrol Sectors made-up of multiple businesses and residents (max of 20 locations per Patrol Sector) within that Area, we can charge each subscriber a affordable monthly fee and provide security services to each subscriber sector as a whole. There will always be an Armed Uniformed Security Patrol Officer within minutes of your location during service hours. HERE'S HOW IT WORKS: Upon becoming a subscriber and paying the monthly subscription fee your location will be added to our subscriber's list. An Armed Security Patrol Officer in a Patrol Vehicle will make several random visits to your site during service hours. The hours of service will be: Mon-Sat 10 pm - 6 am, and Sunday 10 am till 6 am Monday. That's 68 hours of coverage per week. While at your location, the Agent will conduct a foot patrol of your site. The officer will secure access points and look for any signs of illegal activity. There will be an electronic check-in system utilized to ensure accountability. Should the Officer discover anything unusual they will contact the Appropriate Authorities by radio immediately through our 24-hour dispatch center and the Officer will secure the scene until authorities arrive. Depending on the urgency of the situation, our Officers will contact you and a report will be prepared for your convenience when dealing with insurance companies. Our Officers will also respond to any Alarms at your subscribed location during hours of service. Also included with your subscription are two false alarms every month (More than 2 in a month will be a $25 response fee), and all responses resulting in authorities being called will be free of charge. Called ADT to set my new wife up on her phone. She has AT&T as a carrier. AT&T is not…read moretext-compatible with ADT... no problem. Wanted to set up Push notifications. The technician said it couldn't be done because we have AT&T. BS. So I said "let's set up email notifications". He said it couldn't be done because we have AT&T. Again, total BS. He was worthless. I asked him to send an email to my wife from his ADT account. He said he sent it. Nothing. He blamed it on AT&T. Worthless. I spent a couple hours figuring it out for myself. Push notifications work perfectly. Email notifications work perfectly. He flat out lied to us. Lied. All he had to say was "I don't know how", but he blamed AT&T for everything. I was getting pretty testy by the end of the phone call. Didn't swear. Didn't yell. But yes, testy. Did it all myself, no thanks to their tech support. I should've written down his name. I'd complain officially.

Had everything been transparently disclosed, I would have made a different decision. After installation, the service and overall experience did not meet the expectations that were presented during the sales process. When I attempted to cancel and offered to return the equipment, I was still informed that I could be responsible for significant charges. As a consumer, I believe companies should clearly explain long-term obligations and cancellation terms before locking customers into agreements. I have since had to escalate this matter through formal consumer complaints due to the lack of a fair resolution. I hope ADT improves its transparency, communication, and customer support practices for future customers.

Earlier this year I was the *victim* of several heartbreaking incidents of domestic violence. Time and time again Garver personnel made me feel as though I were somehow in the wrong though I was uncontrovertibly the victim in every act, never the aggressor, revictimizing me anew each time I would need their assistance. (They must have taken a page out of the CPD's handbook as far as that goes.) The situation deteriorated to the point that security guards said they would not even respond if called again about such an incident. (Not that they usually came in a terribly timely manner anyway, or that they bothered to come at all each time there was a life-threatening emergency.) Yet when this same person assailant allegedly assaulted one of a security guard also, strangely Garver did not even bother to press criminal charges; guards just said they would "light him up" when they saw him on the property again, apparently violence and vigilantism are the preferred problem resolution method of this rogue band of "protectors," rather than seeking resolution of the problem within the constraints of our judicial system. Garver Asset Protection employees soon after used derogatory language involving sexual orientation, echoing over their loud radios across the parking lot of a gas station they had no business loitering around instead of their post, and somehow found it appropriate to make "a joke" about religion then repeat it when it was not well received. They didn't even bother to notify the actual police when they witnessed a hit and run while I was reporting being robbed at gunpoint in my under-lit parking lot. To top it off, guards just maliciously had my vehicle towed after harassing me for a few days about it. I had the misfortune of getting a couple tires flattened when I ran over collision debris that had not yet been blocked off or removed. My vehicle had only been sitting in my parking lot a few days while another car in the very same parking lot has been sitting on all flat tires for nearly -- if not more than -- a full year. This egregious conduct by people in such a position of trust and authority is a clear violation of my civil rights and encroachment on my basic dignity as a human being. I would not recommend this company to anyone, for anything. It's troubling to think that these people are allowed to carry guns.

Raises are rare and intentionally delayed, while the pay remains very low. The company puts on a fake "nice" front, but the reality is completely different once you're hired. I would not recommend this company to anyone there are far better employers out there who will treat you with respect and pay you what you deserve. Save your time and stay far away.
