This place is probably the best Korean Restaurant in Montgomery. Uh Woo Don has a very authentic style of Korean food, very clean and food quality was amazingly delicious! Our favorite place in town!!

We wanted some galbi but they ran out, but gave us some complimentary seafood pancake which was delicious! Nice service and we ordered spicy pork bulgogi and we were stuffed! The owner was very nice! The atmosphere was comfy and the side dishes were delicious!

As a foodie on a Sunday afternoon and wanting some Korean food but doesn't want to drive to Atlanta. We found this new hidden location in Montgomery that just opened a few months ago and we had to try it. First we were kind of skeptic because of the location and most places in Montgomery don't last, but WOW, I was amazed, surprised and impressed with the cleanliness and the service we got, not just by the friendly service, but the food was amazing, well prepared and great tasted. Also you get kimchi pancakes with all of your side dishes, everything was very tastefully done. Silk tofu seafood was perfectly made also. Overall I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone that want to get some good Korean food.

One of the best dinning experience ever! People are so friendly and nice! Especially the chef! We ordered grilled fish and LA Gaibi! The price is very reasonable and the portion is big!

Food was mediocre and servicing size was small. Waited for 30 minutes before order was placed

It was flavorful and perfect for sharing. A few of the tables have partition walls, which gave us a nice sense of privacy and made the meal feel more relaxed. We arrived close to closing time, but the lady who helped us was incredibly kind and welcoming. She never made us feel rushed, and her warm hospitality made our visit even more memorable. If you're looking for authentic Korean food and friendly service, I definitely recommend this place!

That's what sticks out in my mind. The waiter even made suggestions and 'coached' me through how to eat my meal. And the meal was delicious. I had the ribeye and marinated pork. Very, very good. Multiple people would come by the table to make sure that the food was cooking efficiently. That was a plus. Also, most of the people there were in the private areas so there was any excess noise or lack of space out on the floor. I even watched time and time again how affectionately they would greet their guests. It was apparent that most of their patrons were regulars. Well, count me in that bunch as well. I'll be going here often. You should, too.

I remember getting 6-8 dishes before, and this time we only got 4. The kimchi was quite good, but the rest was pretty boring. We were offered refills, so I'm not saying they're stingy. The menu seems very limited. Maybe this was a lunch thing? But I saw the same menu posted on the walls in the booths. No beef bulgogi? No fried chicken? No tteokbokki?! We both got the dol sot bibimbap, which was maybe the best iteration of that dish that we have had outside of Korea, so I think that is an improvement, but we felt like there wasn't much on the menu for us other than that dish. When we want to have that again, we will gladly come back. I just wish there was more variety. The service was extremely friendly. I have no complaints there, and I'm thankful for the welcoming atmosphere. I'd recommend you try this restaurant (maybe the new menu will resonate with you), it's just not the same as it used to be, and I would not trust old pictures of the menu.

I came in with an open mind but left unimpressed. From the outside, SHILLA could use some work. It looks kind of old and dingy. The inside is a bit of an improvement, but it was poorly lit. There was not a very welcoming feel when we entered. Service wise, they seemed short staffed for a weekend. Everyone was cordial however the service was kind of lacking. No one checked on us after the food arrived. We wanted to order some more food and we didn't see anyone from our seats so we pushed the button which yielded no response until the 4th try. I understand there was a party in the other room, but other than that group--there was no one else in the restaurant except us... Food: Off the bat, I was disappointed because I tried to order sushi and was told it was not offered on the weekends--this is not stated anywhere on the menu. Here are some of the items we ordered: *Soontofu/Tofu Soup ($8.95) *Japchae ($12.95) *Haemulpajun/Seafood pancake ($12.95) *Bulgogi ($14.95) *LA Galbi ($18.95) Food-wise, the wait was super long and the food was MEH. The tofu soup didn't arrive sizzling hot like I'm used to and lacked in taste. The LA Galbi was relatively the best out of everything we ordered, although it had quite a bit of fat the first time around. So we ended up ordering two more orders of galbi. Second time around was much better (less fat and much hotter in temperature when it arrived). Overall, SHILLA is not bad if you're nearby. But for me, I'd check out what other Korean restaurants in Montgomery has to offer before coming back.
