If never been treated so rough in my life! During ER via Abo from my town 60 miles away amale nurse was yelling at me after I told him get out my room saying he didn't have to n pointing n my face so I snacked his hand out of my face. He called cops on me so while I'm having a widow maker heart attack I had to speak to cops on top of everything They got me admitted n into room where things were better until grayhair nurse started with finger n she stomped out room saying he didn't get paid enough to paid enough to put up with this. Which was patient needing to pee after heart Cath n stents. read more

While visiting my parents, my Mom got sick and my Dad took her to King's Daughters. It was not the closest hospital, but it was the most trusted in the area. My Mom was in the ER for nearly 6.5 hours before being moved to a room. It seems they were doing a shift change, which made her wait a bit longer. I was present when the nurse came into her room and assisted my Mom with answering all the many questions. The nurse was very sweet and friendly, which I could tell gave my Mom a sense of relief. Her room was clean and her bed looked new. I also liked that they don't have posted visiting hours, which means you can see your loved ones whenever you want. Although after a certain time, you must enter via the ER as the front door is locked. Which is a good safety measure. I felt confident leaving that night that she was in good hands! The next morning, I came back so I could be in her room when she came out of her procedure. Mom was feeling much better and was able to go home a few hours later. Most unprofessional hospital around. Been setting for 2 hours with dangerously high blood sugar and all they can say is they don't have any beds. Built this big er and put all this money into it just to not have to ability to take in patients. I sat for 2 hours while they checked in patients who came in after me only for them to tell me they never registered me. I had to walk up there and ask to be registered and it was excuse after excuse. I walked out and they wanted me to sign a paper that I was leaving against medical advice. I never saw a doctor, so no. The register was rude and cussing left and right. read more

I'd like to know why 3 guys pulled up in my husbands truck when we had the valet bring it back. If you want to joyride, use your own vehicle. Funny how all these ridiculous rules about social distancing and covid cause patients and their families not be able to even see each other before major surgeries, yet your valet guys can pack MY husbands truck. Everytime I've gone here for emergency care it's been far worse than just poor care. First off it takes forever to get seen even if your care is more emergent than others. I understand a system but some things are worth breaking an "entry by seen" patient system. Second off, anytime I've ever been seen at this hospital it's been worse than just bad care. I came in the other day after I wrecked on my motorcycle. Had several bad injuries including: broken eye socket, chin split open to the bone, hip scraped down to the muscle, concussion, and road rash all over me. All they could be bothered to do was skin glue my hip muscle and chin muscles back together, put a couple patches on me and sent me on my way. Didn't tell me about my concussion, didn't give me stitches, didn't do anything about my broken eye socket, and didn't give me any pain meds or ointment for the rest of my injuries. This hospital gives some of the most lazy and unworthy care I've experienced in my life from a hospital. I will never be returning. I would rather go across the bridge to St. Mary's. My official recommendation: DONT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL, save yourself the worry and pain and go somewhere where your pain and injuries will actually be cared for properly. read more

I went in for an interview, mind you I'm an ex felon, and the 3 ladies I meet with where completely rude. I mean I get it I'm a felon and I've made mistakes but I'm not stupid. The interview was used for the purpose of them being able to say that they interviewed a felon. Thank god I've been able to find work outside of that job, two to be exact, but my past shouldnt be used as a outlet to say they did or didnt do something. I asked to explain my past and what lead me to my decisions but they pushed me out the door. I was up front and honest and they knew right off the bat that I wasent even a consideration. It made me feel used and it honestly hurt. I'm a human being and I'd never disrespect someone the way they disrespected me. I hope no one else goes through this, hoping for a chance at a good job only to be let down and made a fool. read more

My sister visited today for a 15 minute outpatient procedure to remove a recorder; However, it took seven hours from arrival until discharge to get this done. Her granddaughter in law had to sit in her vehicle outside in the cold, as the Covid has changed so much. We understand that the hospitals are very busy now and that emergencies occur that can delay the surgeons, though it would more courteous and professional to keep the patient better informed read more

not to past judgement on anyone ..but my husband was having sents put in and the nurses and doctor on the heart and vascular was great. and they done a wonderful job ''trying'' to take care of my husband. but i was having sever pain in my left hip going down my leg into my foot and my toes feel like their numb..so i went to the e.r and they took me way back in the er put me in the room this was around 11:30am.. they came in and ask me my name and address and did not come back in and i was their until 1:30pm (2hours) not one perdon came in to give me any meds. or anything because they ''forgot'' that i was there so i got up and left. not sure that i will go back to the e.r read more
