Terrible past 2 visits, we're getting rushed per hole. We had started setting timers to not go past 15 min per hole, other patrons while playing would tell us to let them pass because they were playing fast but when they would pass us would slow down very significantly and my crew got spoken to multiple times. We were the only ones being rushed when there were high schoolers just on their phones taking their time and other as well going very slow. The groundskeepers were trying to do their thing and it would slow the pace a bit but the Marshalls didn't care. I really didn't wanna see it this way but we also happened to be the only Hispanic group and after the way we were being rushed and picked it it's pretty reasonable to assume not very nice things. Overall I've had great experiences at the course over the years but this newer staffing is very interesting. read more

This is an awesome golf course hidden gem. The grass was surprisingly well kept the staff in locals are friendly and greens are pure. I'd highly recommend playing this golf course if you're in the Ukiah area. read more

They have delicious frozen ice cups. Sort of like a slurpee/snow cone - only better. The golf was good too. My only criticism is the layout was not intuitive. It was hard for us to figure out where to go next on multiple holes and we actually hit in the wrong direction at least once. It was extremely hot with no shade. I felt it was a little bit overpriced but it was a fun afternoon. I'd return. read more

This past Saturday I played nine with my badass brother who consistently kicks my ass into oblivion. Hole 1 Bogey Hole 2 Three putt Bogey Hole 3 Double Bogey Hole 4 Double Bogey Hole 5 Three putt Bogey Not a great start and my putting is not helping. But some how some way I am tied. If I can just finish strong I just might have a chance. Hole 6 Bogey Hole 7 Three putt Bogey (ugh) Hole 8 One putt Par (whew!) Going into the last I am up by three (Really?). I know that I will find a way to screw this up. Hole 9 is a downhill 150 Yard par 3 with Out of Bounds on the left and houses and a stream on the right. I am going to hook this sucker into a house, I can feel it. I take out a short iron and tee up my ball. One practice swing and then line up my shot. I take an easy swing and connect perfect with the ball. The flight is perfect and lands within a foot of the cup and rolls to back of the green. 2 putt par, game over I win! I win? WTH? I still can't believe it. Beautiful little course, tucked away on the west side of town. The course hilly and challenging with small greens. It can get windy in the afternoons and hot as that river in the Lethean in the Summer. read more

Went to the golf course, June 15 and me and my friends were getting constantly yelled at by one of the workers there because we were driving the golf carts to close to the green even though we where about 60 feet away. First thing. My dad came to visit from Arizona. Called to make a reservation and the pro shop marked my day wrong. Ended up on the back 9 which was okay. Continued to get cussed out by the group behind us because they thought we snuck in front of them. Almost ended in blows because one of them pulled his golf club out and tried to hit us with it. Couldn't explain anything to him because he was hot headed. Then we found out he went to the pro shop and tried to tell them we started all of it and we were hostile. Lmfao, didn't even get a discount when we went again on Sunday. Was a pretty shitty golf day when family was visiting. Next time I'll take him to Windsor. read more

Local community mountain course. A great walking course, early mornings I have often encounter wild turkeys and deer. Situated in the base of the mountain and valley, this is one peaceful and enjoyable course to walk and play. Mornings I have found over the years is always more relaxed, as the afternoons can be hectic. Not the most difficult course out there, but a lot of fun to play. This community course also serves as the home course for the Ukiah Wildcats high school teams (boys and girls). It can be quite busy during the season and reservations for tee times is recommended. The Pro shop, club house and nineteenth hole are all in the main building where you can book tee times (reasonable green fees), find equipment and supplies, arrange for lessons and grab a cold beer at the turn or at the end of your round. Monthly memberships available for those who play regularly and looking for a discounted green fee rate. This is an awesome little community course in a great town and I wish I got the opportunity to play it as much as I use too when my kids and I played it regularly during their high school years. This is ukiah's golf course and I'm thankful for it. The staff are awesome and the pro shop has everything you would need. The course is challenging and has a combination of hills, flats and old oaks that tower above and around your approaches. It's not how far you hit the ball here, it all about accuracy. The last 2 seasons course has been in its best shape through summer dry spells and wintery rains. Don't knock it til you try it. Update 9/25 nice remodel of the bar and hopefully next the pro shop going on now! Along the remodel is outdoor patio with window serve "Wicked Slushy" a great addition to bring in the park visitors to the clubhouse and the course. Extremely impressed with the quality and difficulty of this course. Amazing views, fast greens, and a very reasonable price. My wife loved the wildlife on the course, deer everywhere! Coming from San Diego it was a pleasure to have elevation changes and enormous trees, numerous creeks, and tree lines tee boxes with blind landings. Can't wait to be back!! read more

This is a great course that really shines when the elements cooperate. New management has been successful at addressing many of the problems with the course, like the drainage. It is a challenging course with some unforgiving slopes and imposing trees. The views are beautiful and the course a good value. Have been playing up here once a year for the last 10+ years while camping in the area. Challenging, hilly, course with a lot more character than most muni 18 hole courses Ive played. The fairways and greens are not perfect but certainly playable. If you enjoy the game you will enjoy this course. read more

Challenging golf holes and beautiful views at a reasonable price. The remodel of the clubhouse looks great. The employees are friendly and always do their best to get people out on the course as soon as possible. The new snack bar serving ice cream is also a great addition. This is an interesting little course. Definitely not my favorite place to play. 70 par course (34 and 36). Took about 4 hours for 18 holes. It's not a very challenging course, but it's really confusing. There's a lot of par 4's that would be par 3's at my home course. However, there are many instances where one could easily get lost on where to aim, since the greens are often obscured or because the fairways are hard to follow. Also, the layout is very confusing. For example, if you wanted to play nine holes, you'd have to play eight on one side of the road and the cross over the street to play the ninth, then walk all the way back to the clubhouse across the road. The fairways are very choppy, and the greens are much smaller than any I've seen, and with lots of ball marks. There are very few bunkers, and the only water hazards are streams running through a few holes. It's a great place to get in a round if you're in the area, and to see the country and wildlife. Wouldn't go out of my way to play here, but if the opportunity arises, I'd go. It's pretty cheap: cost me $32 for a Saturday without a cart. read more

No way can this course be rated 4 stars. In my opinion the only good thing was that the golf carts were in good condition. The fairways were a mess with mostly clover and lots of dry, bare spots. The greens were rolling at about a 6 to 7 and were the size of a postage stamp. The bunkers were mostly dirt and doubt that they were groomed n the morning. If you like golfing on a roller coaster then. this is the course for you....if not pass on it. No driving range or range balls. read more

I will always love my local golf course. The staff and club house pros are very warm and welcoming. This course is really fun to play and if you are walking then it's a good workout because it's hilly! The first hole and a few others may seem intimidating the first time you play, but it's all about knowing how to strategically land your shots (sometimes that means clubbing down). There are so many course "regulars" so it's easy to get paired up with someone if you are playing by yourself. The course is full of wildlife with lots of deer and turkeys which adds to the scenery. Also really pretty views especially off #6 which looks down onto the course and Ukiah's westside. read more
