Oh my gosh, it seems like Ulta has everything beauty related! I spent a good ten minutes just looking through their clearance. Some of the items were as high as 75% off! I found a few foundations, even though I don't wear makeup often. I also found some cute masks and a lip gloss for my daughter. I went to get a eye primer since my daughter has started wearing eyeshadow. I chose Milani, which several of the young ladies said was highly recommended. After my $10 off coupon from my birthday email, I made out pretty well. Also, I get double points since it's my birthday month! I enjoyed my visit and will return. today I decided to go to ulta beauty because I was having such a bad and rough day and I can say that I enjoyed being there. first off Bri was at the entrance and she salute me so nicely and decided to help me out with my purchases and also recommended me some Korean skincare since I told her that I was really starting to get into korean beauty. She was being so nice overall and she was helping me a lot and gave me good tips about my skin care Routines. I am (was) a returning customer. I had the rudest experience with Christian as my clerk. From the very start of the interaction she came off unprofessional. I told her that I had a return and tried being helpful by showing her my barcode. She said "how about the product and then the phone number, let's start with that". Then she said "do you know when you purchased it?" And I told her I wasn't sure that I thought they were able to find it in there system regardless of the details. She responded, "you purchased here 4 times in one month, that's a lot that I have to go through". (So rude). Fast forward, she was trying to give me the refund on the lesser item of the receipt even after I told her that it's not the product I am returning today. She said "I changed it, do you want me to start over?" I said yes because this shows "pencil" for $16 and I am returning a pen that's worth $30. She was persistently trying to refund me $16 and tried making me feel like I was the one inconveniencing her. When she's the one getting paid and can't do her job professionally or correct. The entire interaction was very unprofessional and unwelcoming. She was very obvious with the attitude and dissatisfied facial expressions. She didn't even try hiding it. Unfortunately I had my kids with me, two kids under the age of two and didn't feel like escalating the matter with my kids present. I am so disappointed with this new member. i placed an order for pickup. i checked in once i got there and proceeded to wait. after 10-15 minutes had gone by, i was still waiting so i went inside and got in line. instead of helping customers, the associates just stand behind the front desk chatting as the curbside pickup was building up and as the line inside was getting longer and longer. absolutely no regard for their customers whatsoever. would definitely benefit from new employees and new management. based on how long you have to wait to get your order, you might as well order online for delivery to your house. it would probably arrive faster. read more

Went to get a hair service for my curly hair, was suppose to finish off with my curls being defined with the finger technique but instead had just a diffuser on my curls at the end of applying the curling products. The girl was nice, but constantly distracted and talking to everyone around us and barley paying attention to what she was doing, I'm all for enjoying yourself while doing your job, IF you're doing it correctly and paying close attention. If I knew I was just getting a simple wash and diffuser I would have just done it at home and have done it correctly with the finger technique, at the end of it all my hair was poofy and frizzy, I came home and rinsed it and applied my products and did it myself. This is my first time having the most unpleasant experience at this store . I went to their Mac counter looking for a new lipstick , I didn't catch her name but the young lady in her 20s who was forced to help me was the most rudest employee I have ever met . She has black hair and a widow's peak , she gave me the dirtiest look when I asked her if they had the shade I was looking for , and when she scoffed and looked me up from head to toe and said no , I then asked her if they had anything similar to that shade and she mocked me and said " I don't know what you mean " and I said " well maybe a shade lighter than that if you don't have a similar shade ." And continued to stand there like if she couldn't be bothered to move . She handed me another shade without even telling me much about the lipstick , and then as I was trying it on I asked her what shade does she think would compliment me . The store is fine, but the hair salon part of the store is kind of racist towards Black people. They only have 1 good hair stylists that knows how to work with 4C Black peoples' hair. Many of the hair stylist also have terrible attitude. I spoke to Jelisa (i am not sure I am spelling her name correctly, but she might be the beautiful salon managers or assistant manager if that any). She said she is the only other person that does Black people's hair, but she can't do my hair. She said there is only one person in that salon that is good with Black people's hair, and it's not her. She said all of this with a rude attitude. The more I asked questions concerning the issue, which were not a lot of questions, the more rude she was. Actually, she was rude to me from the moment she saw me. She also ignored me and at one point and started attending to other customers behind me, which is why I walked out of the store. Went in to get my makeup done by a woman named Jasmine and walked into the store before my appointment time however, I was late to the appointment because I spoke to another employee explaining to her what I was there for and who I was looking for and she said Jasmine was busy with another client and asked me to wait for her to be done. I said okay and started looking around the store. I took a seat in their little waiting area at the exact time my appointment was supposed to start thinking she was still busy with her client. 15 minutes go by and Jasmine comes around the corner with a rude attitude of how I was 15 minutes late and if I had been 20 minutes late the appointment would've been canceled. I explained to her why I was late and she said that she had been waiting for me so it was my fault. While doing my make up I explained to her I don't wear makeup so when my eyes get poked and prodded with makeup tools they tear up and while doing my eye makeup she said very loudly that I need to let her know when I'm about to cry so she can stop. While in the middle of my makeup appointment a Mexican song came over the radio in the store (me being the only Mexican in that area) she said that no one wants to hear this kind of music playing and they need to get that type of music out here. Ultimately the makeup she did was great but I'd highly recommend she gets training in customer service or find a job with little to no customer service. Same goes for her coworker who was making snarky laughs the entire time Jasmine was doing my makeup. Highly recommend anyone but Jasmine for customer service. Horrible customer service with Marlene!!. Location is profiling customers . Also the location is limited the amount of returns per ulta account. The ulta policy states hassle free returns . Customer are free to return items within 60 days for a full refund as long as they have the original reciept. This location is not honoring the policy and stoping returns even if the customer has the reciept because THEY consider it excessive. I personally do not use store tester due to contamination and. Hygiene issues. I rather purchase the product new and try it at home and if it's unsatisfactory in quality, I'm allergic to some ingredient, or it's just incorrect color return it under the hassle free return policy . This location is NOT HONORING This policy . Corporate needs to step in to reingenerate company policy and customer service skills with manager of this location. read more
