I was in there shopping and I was towards the back by the salon and overheard because she was very loud I think she had blond hair.She was talking about a client, badmouthing her. I had saw a woman walk out of the salon so the client was still in the store. Geez that is horrible stylist etiquette and so unprofessional for a salon to do that to someone that probably paid a lot. The store I went into was the casa grande location and I was waiting in line behind two other girls and there was only one register open. The one worker at the register got done with the two girls and then left the register to go do something else with two other workers. All three of the workers didn't acknowledged me at all and continued to talk to each other so I just left. I'm never coming back to that location because I never get good customer service. The makeup selection is excellent and the staff that supports it, the best. I received a haircut style that I did not want, and specifically said I did not want. I felt the hairdresser pressured me to trust her, unfortunately I agreed, and ended up with what I was wanting to avoid. Had she actually listened to me, I would not be fighting my hair right now. My blonde was not lifted past the orange yellow stage - she rushed it - and she drabbed it down with an ash toner. Not pleased at all. Who wants hot roots?! read more

Sheena is the hair dresser I use at this Ulta. She is very nice and friendly. She explains what she wants to do and the reason that she feels it needs to be done and respects my choice to decide and doesn't try to push me into extra stuff! Very patient with the facet that I have to have my 7 month old son with me and she even tries to help keep him entertained!! I highly recommend her and this Ulta store. read more

Had an appointment to have my hair cut and wasn't told until I arrived that my stylist was no longer with them. OK, I'll try one that was available. My husband goes in today for his appointment and is told " oh, we had to change the schedule and she isn't working today, we can make another appointment for you". He walked out and we'll both be looking for another salon. read more

I scheduled my next hair cut at the end of my first visit. 6 weeks later, I arrived for my appointment and learned that the stylist had not actually scheduled me and wasn't even working that day. In and of itself, the scheduling mix-up wouldn't have been a huge deal, just reschedule for the next weekend or something. However, between the stylist who first tried to look up my appointment, the salon manager, and even the general manager, there wasn't a single apology for my inconvenience. The GM actually looked over the salon manager's shoulder, was informed of the problem...and walked away. I felt the salon manager's attitude was like I wasn't being flexible enough when I didn't jump at the opportunity to have my hair cut by a stylist who was in the middle of doing some foils. I had other things planned following my hair cut and someone waiting for me, but I did sit down for a few minutes, which gave me time to reflect. This stylist was supposed to cut my hair while the other customer's color was on her hair. Would stylist's attention really be on my hair cut? Would she feel rushed for time? Would this other customer feel like she wasn't getting the attention she was paying for? For the prices this salon charges for services (haircut $36 - $46), I expect a higher standard of customer service. Every person I spoke to was apathetic, unapologetic, and seemed unwilling to help resolve the problem. They didn't even seem like they cared IF it got resolved all. If you're going to spend $40 for a haircut, take your money to a salon that actually cares about their customers. (On another trip to this store, I was shopping for shampoo and got to listen to two stylists LOUDLY complain about another who wasn't there that day. Totally unprofessional. One even had a customer in front of her while she gossiped.) read more

Worst hair salon experience I have ever had. Felt like a 12-year-old was doing my hair. Total lack of experience in the basics of shampooing and blow drying. And the girl said she had been working there 4 years. The price to do a shampoo and blowout was $36 and my hair didn't look good when I left. I could do a better job myself. Total highway robbery.
