Clean, professional, & walk-ins welcomed. I called at 9:30 on a Saturday. The receptionist was very friendly. They have two appointments to offer one at 11 & one at 12:30. I asked for the 11. Parking is ample and I found a spot right in front of the shop. I walked in & was greeted right away. Receptionist had me check in on their tablet with my phone number. Then she handed me a book to look at colors. There was one other person waiting. I ended up getting in my pedicure chair 15 mins. after my appointment. The lady who was waiting sat next to me in a pedicure chair, where she waited for someone to do hers. There were 3 other guest getting pedicures and two getting nails done. It wasn't until 11:40 that someone helped her. The gentleman doing my pedicure was named Dax. He gave me a menu and I chose the sweet pedicure, ($40). It includes the Classic Pedicure with the addition of Cooling Gel, OP/ Clay Mask followed by tantalizing lotion & Hot Stone massage. Which they say will improve circulation & restore balance that will have your feet feeling happy. (Add Callus Removal $7) Dax put some nice smelling item in the tub. Then applied the cooling gel to my legs. He trimmed my nails, then trimmed the cuticle, buffered, and did a foot scrub. Then he did the lotion part. I posted a pic of the package they use. After he rinsed it off. Dax has worked her for 4 years. Next was hot towel on the legs with the lotion. Since I'm getting gel it's $10 extra. The colors I chose were 012 hot pink and 288 for glittered. Got out by 121:5

Best nail experience of my life! They were so generous and helped make my daughters with eczema feel comfortable. We were greeted by the kindest girl when we walked in the door, the nail techs were gentle and kind, the products they used were clean and great quality. We will be back!!

So clean and aesthetically pleasing to look at

I normally don't get my nails done because it's hard for me to put time out of my busy schedule. I decided to come here with a friend and when I say this is one of the best experiences I've had at a nail salon, IT REALLY IS. We unfortunately didn't have an appointment, but the friendly front desk was able to get us into their busy schedule. The aesthetics of this place is AMAZING. I couldn't stop staring at their polish display when I walked in! This is one of the cleanest salons I've ever been to as well. Everything was very well organized, even the products on their tables were super organized. Please look at the photos I've taken if you don't believe me!! I decided on just a regular clean and some light nail polish, nothing too fancy. But I also wanted to spoil myself a little and get my toe nails done. I was lucky enough to meet the owners of the place. They came over to introduce themselves to my friend and I since we were first time customers. I think that's so rare that owners would come over and say hello and welcome us! They were BOTH working on customers as well! I can tell just how hardworking they are and how much they enjoy what they do. I paid attention to how their customers interacted with the owners and all I can say is, this is my go to place. I had an an awesome personable experience here and they really took their time to work on the both of us. Peep my photos!! It's awesome!!

I went to this salon with my Mother-in-law, sister-in-law and partner on April 5th. I'll start this by saying I am a quiet person and have difficulties speaking up when having issues. The appointment started off normal with the color choice and continued with the attempt at upselling by offering "to fix my eyebrows" which I declined. Things started off normal with the usual small talk and smiles, but when my nail artist asked who was who in the group the atmosphere changed; upon finding out that I was gay, all small talk and smiles had stopped. The remainder of the appointment was done in silence and increasing roughness on my fingers and nails. She did not cut down the length of my nails, I left with them the same length I entered with even though they needed a trim and to be shaped. She did not use a cuticle clipper on me, but instead used a electric nail drill with the drill bits she pulled out from an old Altoids tin container that looked as though they hadn't been cleaned. It was my first time trying powder dip on my nails, so I'm uncertain how the process is but to me it felt like she used quite a bit of unnecessary pressure while using the nail drill and went over so many times around my nail and nail bed that they started getting tender and 3 fingers got small scrapes that had bled a little. When switching hands she would yank my hand closer with a jerk, that again I felt was unnecessary as I had tried to keep them close to her in an attempt to make it easier for her. Finally she is almost done, as she pulls out some cuticle clippers to remove the excess dried dip from the underside of my nails. When removing them she kept pinching at my skin, and I would flinch and pull away as it hurt. She would just take back my hand and continue removing the excess; at this point I just want this experience to be over, I was uncomfortable and in pain to the point that my eyes started to tear up. When she noticed, her whole demeanor changed and she was overly sweet and tender, explaining to me that "your nails are dirty and need to be clean, I'm just cleaning them" and that "you're so pretty, you're okay, almost done, you're okay" while caressing my hand and kissing them like you would an injured child trying to comfort. After she finished removing a bit more excess she put some lotion on my hands from a previously opened foil pouch and told me to rub my hands together. Afterwards she told me I was done and pointed out the location of the bathroom, I entered and attempted to calm myself down. I wasn't sure how much longer my family had until they were done so I sent them a message explaining what had happened and I would be out of the bathroom in a moment. After I had left the bathroom, my family was by the front door talking with the, I assume, manager. She took my hand to inspect and said there weren't any cuts, but that it was known to happen to people who don't do regular manicures. She called over the nail artist I had and they spoke back and forth in a different language before saying again the cuts are common. I kept trying to pull my hand away and the manager kept taking it back and examining it just to repeat what they had been saying, finally after a few minutes of that we were able to leave and I was just happy to be out of there. The pictures attached were from 3 days after the appointment, you can see the differences in lengths between them as well as how some weren't finished to the edge of the nail.

I am absolutely appauled at the service/treatment that I received at Nails It today. In 15 years of getting acrylics - I've never experienced something like this. A little context: This was my second time going to this salon. When I went the first time, two weeks ago, I was sat with Sandy. I was trying to explain the shape that I wanted (basically coffin, just not super narrow) and before I could even finish, she became frustrated at something and said "You know what, she can do your nails. I'm not gonna do this." Wow. Very rude and unprofessional, but it was my birthday. I wasn't about to be in a bad mood, so I let it go. Leslie finished my nails that day. Leslie was very kind and the rest of the appointment went without incident. Today, I again sat with Sandy. Honestly, she seemed pissy the second I sat down. Nonetheless, before deciding on a color, I showed her two pictures and asked for a quote of the price. Knowing full well just how quickly the cost can add up when adding designs at a salon. One photo was of the style french tip I wanted, and another to show the flowers I wanted. I specified that. "I want the french tip like this picture, and flowers like this picture." She told me to pick a color for the tips and she would let me know the price. Okay.. so I chose a color, and waited. She began applying the powder. She still hadn't said anything about price, so I asked again. ...and waited. A long moment passed before she said anything; finally, she said $90. I asked her to wait on my nails so we could discuss the price. I wanted to be clear on what I would to be paying, as I think most people would want to know. She huffed, got a piece of paper and started writing. $35 for the fill, $5 for the shape - then she crossed it out and began again. $45 for the fill, $5 for shape - I said, "wait, why $45 for a regular fill?" She said it's $45 for the colored powder. Confused, I looked down and said "I didn't ask for colored powder?" Frustrated, Sandy said that in the picture I showed her with the flowers, the backfill is colored powder. I said, "I understand that. However, I didn't ask for colored power. All I asked for was the flowers." I continued to say "You told me you couldn't do the flowers exactly like that, and I told you that was fine. That I didn't want my nails to be exactly like the picture." At this point, she's raising her voice. Sandy said "I'm trying to explain it to you" to which I replied, "And I'm just trying to understand before you do something that I didn't ask for and don't want to pay for." Sandy threw her hands up and said "Go over there", pointing to Leslie's chair, "she's almost done and she can do your nails. I'm not doing it." I didn't even know what to say. A salon full of people, all watching this happen - I was mortified. Completely embarrassed. All because I asked for the total price of a service before it as completed.. Which is like, the most basic common courtesy you can extend in a service industry, but okay. I was so excited to finally find a salon in town with great reviews that seemed nice. The manager (I failed to get his name as none of the employees would give me information) was very kind and understood that I was just trying to figure out what the heck price I was looking at. Leslie awas very kind and professional the whole time. I don't know much about the salon as a whole, but I do know that being treated that way - in a salon full of people staring at me no less - is completely unaccceptable. Especially when all I wanted to know was what the heck I'm paying for. WOW. In the end, I paid $60. $35 fill, $5 shape, $20 for the french tip. I will be tipping Leslie in cash to be sure that business does not receive even one more penny of my money. Get better emploees. No one goes to a salon, or anywhere for that matter, to be humiliated. Photos of the example photos I showed and the nails I left with.

Dip powder with gel French & gingerbread

I gave this salon multiple chances but while I think some of the nail techs are decent, there are a few that will absolutely butcher your nails. Last time I spoke up, they made me wait 30 minutes after they agreed to fix my nails for free. You want designs? They can't do most of them. And if they try, they will come out looking super bad. Horrible customer service except for the 2 ladies in the front. Ever since I spoke up about a month ago about the chunky dip nails and horrible gingerbreads, they started treating me differently, as if I was a burden to be their customer. I'll not be returning and telling everyone to avoid this salon. This salon does not value money or the quality of your service!

Acrylic ombré set with almond shape

I had an inspiration picture and they did so well! The receptionist ladies were nice and answered my questions on designs and manicures when I first entered. I had booked an appointment at 5:30pm and waited for less than 30 minutes before they paired me with John. He kept the area clean, he made sure every step of the way that I wanted the nails the way I asked for, paying attention to every detail. Will come again!

    French Dip

Dustin does my nails. He is so professional but very down to earth! He has the best sense of humor and always inquires about how I've been since he saw me last! He does such an AMAZING job on my nails! When I first came to him my nails were atrocious! I have went through a process with him but it's all been worth it! I have my own nails done! Pink and white dip for a beautiful looking French Dip. Thank you Dustin! No acrylics anymore. We pretty much make it a family affair! My daughter has her nails done by Dustin's wife Sandy! Who always does such a wonderful job! She's so very talented and creative with the designs and painting of her nails too! Last but not least, our little sweet gal Marissa is their receptionist. She's so knowledgeable and eager to help or give advice when needed! I highly recommend Nailit Salon and Spa for all your manicures, pedicures, and etc... needs! You will not go away disappointed, I promise!!

I loved going hear but I came in to get my acrylics off and a manicure they tried to pry them off and it started to rip my nail and they went to soak it and another tech said no refused to soak it or do anything else saying it doesn't hurt and I'm being sensitive so I had to pay and leave with my nails looking like this.

I absolutely love this place. I will not go anywhere else for my manicures or pedicures. Very clean and excellent service. Sandy always does a fantastic job on my manicures. And my pedicures are always amazing. I highly recommend this place.

I do not recommend…read more * Made an appointment ahead of time on a Saturday -- arrived, let them know of my appointment, and was not helped. They took in another appointment that came in after me, likely because they booked with someone specific. Left after waiting for 20 mins. * Walked in the next Sunday morning. Waited 20 minutes to be serviced (while other appointments walked on in.. I wonder why mine wasn't assisted the day before. Okay). * I needed a gel soak off so one tech wrapped my nails in foil. Had to wait another 20 for someone to take me. That's 40 mins of wait time just to start my manicure. * I was recommended builder gel to strengthen my nails. I've never gotten builder gel before and I wish I was better prepared for what all it came with (a longer appointment; more painful experience under the UV lamp). Needless to say, I was extremely uncomfortable throughout the whole appointment and just wanted it to be over. * This set was $95 (that is insane). They quoted me $65 for the builder gel set at the beginning and an extra $5 for the French tip. It was only at checkout did they tell me they also charged extra for the soak off. * Did I mention they did not do any cuticle care? Like, at all? * I needed an acrylic tip applied to a cracked nail. Less than a week after my appointment, it fell off. * I am now just a little more than a week post my manicure and another nail is breaking beneath the builder gel. TLDR: Wait times too long; Appointment priorities inconsistent; OVERPRICED; Poor quality.
