12.9.25: 1st time in at this location. Store was brightly lit, appeared clean, and had lots of holiday deals for under $20 bucks. The reason for my visit was because I received the Ulta holiday gift guide in the mail and saw an OPI holiday nail polish set for a great price. I took my chances coming here hoping they had it at this location, however after thoroughly looking I didn't find it. So I asked a sales associate, who was under what I was referring to and said she didn't remember seeing but went to look anyway. She couldn't find it and asked another sales associate, who also didn't know what I was referring to in their holiday mailer. So I gave up. Since I was there, I decided to look for a mini roller ball perfume, however they had little selection to choose from. When I actually found a perfume I wanted, guess what? They didn't have it in stock. The sales associate let me know I could order it while in-store and have it shipped directly to my home, which I agreed to. At least I discovered that if they're out of stock of a certain item, you can have it shipped to your home for free. No amount of makeup in that store can cover up the shitty attitude of those employees. I've never once wrote a bad review for any business because I know people can have bad days or moments or whatever. But I am actually sick and tired of feeling like an inconvenience being in there, especially asking for help or suggestions. Im a young adult now and already feel embarrassed for not knowing the basics to makeup. I'm not expecting Ulta employees to be all bubbly and giddy when helping me, but I do expect them to not treat me like a burden. The help there is horrible. So is the customer service. I walked up to a larger customer service woman, back of her hair shaved, and as I asked her a question, another customer walked up to her, and she went with that customer. She didn't try to find me to ask if I still needed help. That action was very rude. If I go back, and it's likely that I won't, I will go to Sally's instead... but if I have to go back for anything, I will not approach her for any help. The service there is dismal. I went to Ulta last week In need of some new hair product. I was helped by Jade and she was AMAZING! She was the sweetest & so helpful! ! She first started off by asking me what my budget was whether it was $20 or $100. I let her know my budget was between $60-$70. She then walked with me all around the hair section of Ulta with my basket in hand showing me different products. I loved that she was showing me products that worked for her & would recommend for my hair type. Helped me find 5 great hair products (a leave in conditioner, shampoo, conditioner, heat protectant & a hair clarifier) all under $70.00! She was super personable & made the process finding new hair products so much easier! I've been using the hair products she recommended for the last week & my hair feels amazing! I went today and the employee that i asked for help was absolutely rude!!! I stood there while she talked to another employee and she didn't even acknowledge me, I finally said excuse me, but can you help me. When I asked her for help, she was beyond rude. She did not want to help me. It seems like every time I'm in there. The people that are on the floor are not knowledgeable and do not want to help. But the people checking you out are very friendly. Beware if you shop here, my friend was wrongfully accused of theft and was pulled out of line by Police Officers that had been called by Ulta Management. The manager didn't even video verify her claims prior to this and only checked the video AFTER calling police. She was not correct in her accusations and my friend was released after being illegally detained. Ulta couldn't even apologize to him and even though it was 100% verified it was not my friend, police continued to follow him for hours to other stores. How traumatizing and embarrassing. Ulta should be ashamed of this kind of treatment I will NEVER again shop here or refer them to anyone I know. read more

I had an appointment at the brow bar at 10:30. I arrived at 10:25 because I hate to be late. No one acknowledged me. I waited until 10:30 and told the lady at the front I was there for my appointment. At 10:35 someone finally acknowledged me. I waited until 10:45. Finally someone came up to let me know that she was ready to help me but she wasn't feeling well. I told her no just cancel my appointment. I understand appointments can run late but what I don't agree with is no one acknowledging a customer waiting. 2 ladies walked by me several times and didn't say a word. Came back with my grandmother as she was seeking my help to get her hooked up with the mascara that I use and a pomade for her brows similar to what I use. I dread going here. I got a giftcard for my birthday, and six months later decided I better go spend it. The selection is good. The customer service is abysmal (and nonexistent). The girls working in the makeup area act put out when you ask for help. One girl stood talking to a friend for twenty minutes as I struggled to find shades. I went to ask for help and was ignored. I went to Ulta seeking a tanning Mitt. They had one labeled $5.99, it was Ulta brand. I took it up to the registration and the amount was over 10 dollars, I informed the female that the label says $5.99. She gave no explanation. I advised that I would go find the Mitt that was $5.99. I saw that indeed the Mitt was $5.99. I asked if she could come to the area and see the price? The female rolled her eyes and seemed annoyed that she had to assist me. Once we arrived in the area, she saw the mitts but said that these mitts were in the wrong area and that she wasn't there the night before, so it wasn't her fault. She was extremely rude and, non attentive. Ulta is in business of helping women feel beautiful. Women spend thousands of dollars in this industry! I went into Ulta Beauty to get my eye cream and facial cleanser. I went to the Clinique section and found my cleanser but they didn't have the size of eye cream I was looking for. Walked back and forth and looked around to see if I could find someone to help me and there were several girls by the benefits counter chatting it up. No one came over to ask me if I needed any help. I had to go over and ask. The girl came over to the Clinique counter and looked for the size I wanted but then said they were out but they could order it for me. I told her I was completely out and didn't want to wait. I had told her I was going to look at the other brands and she said okay and walked away and went back to talking with the other employees at the benefit counter. She should have walked me over to one of the other brands and made suggestions but she did not. I was going to just take the cleanser and then go to Macy's for the eye cream, but, decided to get everything from Macy's plus I also got a moisturizer. I called to speak to the manager and it happened to be the girl that was helping me. She seemed very condescending. I told he she lost a sale and didn't seem very concerned. I have been getting my brows waxed by the girls here for a while now, and this last time I went in it was a girl I had never seen before. I was wary at first, but went with it because I had never had an issue before. Well let me tell you. She butchered my eyebrows! She completely ripped off my arch on my left eyebrow, and took it upon herself to shape them her way after me telling her I have them waxed often and they are already shaped! Although my stylist was very likeable, I spent almost five hours in the stylist chair for a haircut and highlight. The bulk of color for the highlights ended up on the floor and the haircut is one of the worse I've had. Toward the end of the appointment, my stylist just chopped my hair when I told her that the cut was not what I wanted. It's much shorter than I wanted and not even close to the style I asked for even though I brought several photos of the style I liked. Luckily hair grows out but this is a tough cut to try to make look good. I spent a big chunk of change to be so unhappy with this cut and lack of color. This is the second time I've had my hair done here and the second time I have paid way too much for a bad cut. It won't happen a thir time. read more

The only reason I won't give this location a one star is because of their selection, coupons, and points/awards system. However, the main reason I go to this location is for the eyebrows. However, that option has gone out the window. When Ulta first opened, their Benefit brow specialists used to be phenomenal. They took my brows from thin and sparse to thick and full. However, shortly after they opened, they promoted the best brow girl to a regional position. They then hired some new girls which did a great job too. Those girls, however, split from Ulta and opened their own brow bar elsewhere, which left Ulta with nobody good. At my last visit, I went in as a walk-in later in the evening. The store was a ghost town! I went to the front desk and asked if the brow specialist had any openings. She said that the one gal had just left less than a minute ago but she had a gal in the salon that would come out and do my brows. At no point in the conversation did she say that she was not Benefit certified. Nonetheless, the gal who did my eyebrows ruined all of the time, energy, and money spent to get my brows thick because she took them way off. I was left with uneven brows, missing patchy areas, and tails that were way too short. I was horrified by the outcome and cried all the way home; not to mention that it was the day before my vacation. I went to a Benefit brow at a Macy's location three weeks later and the gal said, "Have you ever had your brows professionally done?" I was so mad because I had been getting them done since the Ulta location first opened. The brow specialist there was as horrified as I was. Needless to say, IF I ever go back, I will make sure that the brow girl is Benefit trained! Why does Ulta even allow their salon girls to come do brows at the Ulta bar if they aren't trained by Benefit? They should come with a warning label! read more

Yelp needs to implement a zero star option because I would definitely give it to this location. I've been to this location 2 or 3 times and have left extremely displeased on each visit. Of the times I have come here, I've only walked out with a dry shampoo one of the times because they never have any of the products that I am looking for. To make sure I didn't waste time and gas to drive here this time, I called ahead and checked to see if they had the product I wanted. Their employee, Jamie, answered the phone and immediately told me that they had the product in stock. Thank god! - I thought. They finally have something that I'm looking for. After getting off the phone with Jamie, I made the drive out there and went through the make-up aisles to find the product. Couldn't find it. I then went to the counter and asked Jamie to help me find the product and once she started looking she laughed and realized the product wasn't there either. "Oh weird, I guess we don't have it," was her reply. Are you freaking joking?! I specifically called ahead to make sure you carried the product. Rather than just saying yes to get off the phone, employees should take the two seconds to go out to the floor to find it. I'm usually annoyed once I leave this location because employees tend to socialize with each other, and they act like you're burdening them when you ask them a question. After this visit, I was seething and I definitely never plan to come here again. I hate to sound so negative in a review but the employees at this location are just awful. I got my haircut here in the salon and i wish I remembered her name. She did a good job, loved my hair, I just wish it wasn't so expensive. It wasn't anything crazy. Just mid length with some layers. And it was over $60. I went here thinking I would be saving money vs going to a normal salon. But it was about the same. Maybe more. The girls also talked to each other more than you. Which is fine if she doesn't really want to talk to me, I get it. But it gets awkward when you feel like your just eavesdropping the whole time. Not only do their "stylists" give you green hair and trim your ends, rather than the 8 inches you asked to be cut after showing them SEVERAL pictures, they charge you &190.00. They ignore your complaints and refuse refunds then have the "stylist" call you and imply that green hair is the customer's fault and the customer should have told the "stylist" before the customer left the store. The customer should have offered the "stylist" the opportunity to remedy. Yeah right! They will NOT come close to my hair EVER. read more

The sales girl was helping someone, so I waited, and waited and waited while they talked on all kinds of topics, totally ignoring I was waiting. I had one simple question, so I finally interrupted and the girl said, no we dont have that, the resumed her conversation. I then waited, to ask if there was a good alternative, and she continued to ignore me. I finally got fed up and started looking for next item, and they were out.
