Having just moved into the area a couple of years ago, and coming from a city with some top aestheticians and even MD's that participated in aesthetics because they did a good job at it, I cannot recommend this place enough! I have lots of other places to compare it to, and these ladies doing an excellent job! Rebekah is smart, thorough and incredibly careful. All the ladies I've seen so far are well trained. Also, they (unlike another place that I went to here first which I will never go back to), they prep the room before you go in to make sure that it's clean. They have a tremendous number of options as well! And, are very good at letting you know what options you need without trying to take advantage of you or upsell, (which again the place I went to initially when we moved here , it was all about the upsell, which really turned me off). They have earned a customer for life and I have already had two procedure procedures done there actually three and I'm going to be heading for a fourth and I'm also signing my husband up! It's that time of the year for our annual mother-daughter facial! Since my mom isn't the best at spoiling herself, I've started to treat us to a post-Christmas facial. Relaxation is the perfect gift for someone who wants nothing! This year we went to Beauty at the Lake in downtown Coeur d'Alene. This small studio does it all. They offer facials, massages, peels, injections and more. It's the perfect one stop shop for all your beauty needs and you'll be wow'd by their service. The interior of BBTL is upscale and trendy. The space is warm and inviting with exposed brick and plush seating. Following the service they even offer you wine or champagne! Nothing says relaxed like free bubbly. We both received the classic facial with all natural ingredients. My mom was over the moon for this service and is already planning to return for a massage. I will note that this facial could almost be categorized as a face massage. In fact, my technician massaged my face, head, arms, and parts of my shoulders. She was incredible and really excelled at redirecting energy. While this was extremely relaxing, I normally receive facials for extraction purposes. In fact, my theory is that the more pain you experience, the better. I want to leave with a red face, empty pores, and zero black heads. I'm not sure if they offer extraction services here, but I'd be sure to clarify if this is something that is important to you. Either way, a face massage was the perfect way to recover from the stressful holiday season. read more

I have only ever gone here for sugaring services and I wouldn't really recommend. I can't speak to their other estheticians or services but they have consistently been 15-30 min late for my appointment and the sugaring service just isn't quite right. The girl that does it is super sweet and kind but I always have some kind of patch she missed, and my bikini line service... let's just say I do not feel bikini ready with how much she took off. Also the most painful sugaring I've had and I've gotten sugared for over 5 years other places. Just been frequently kind of bummed and dissatisfied so I won't be coming back. read more

Disgusting unprofessional service by Becca who is part owner. She doesn't use fresh needles in each area but instead dull needles and will botch your face. You'll have side effects from simple procedures you didn't even think were possible and she doesn't accept accountability when she misses the injection spot or over injects. Save yourself messing up your face and go elsewhere. read more

Weird, is how I can describe my experience. Erie, might be more descriptive. Very little words were spoken. My aesthetician did not ask me about my skin or lifestyle. No words were spoken about the current state of my skin or care regimen. There was no discussion about my expectations or hopes for my treatment. There wasn't even clarification of my treatment scheduled. Of course, I take partial responsibility for this since my voice does project outward. I could have spoken up. I think of it as entering someone else's home. I'm a guest and speak when spoken to. The treatment felt rushed. Maybe because there was no explanation of product,plan or expected outcome. Final bad taste, I had scheduled the treatment based on a promised 50$ off only to find out the fine print read for a treatment 25$ more than I had spent. FYI, I haven't decided if I will go back. read more

i've been going to brianna samsel for almost a year now and she's amazing! i've had many sugaring appointments, i've done facials, derma planing and she's done a lash and tint. i'd never done my lashes before, and was a little anxious, but brianna is always so gentle i knew i was in good hands! her facials are spectacular - she has THE softest touch. she's easy to joke around with while having services done and we became fast friends. i absolutely adore her the place is always in immaculate condition and everyone is truly friendly - highly recommend! read more

Charged my credit card an extra 30 bucks without my knowledge or approval---so if you go, check your bill a few days later as clearly integrity isn't one of their values. And their action was actually illegal. They make the place look nice, but the staff lack sophistication and deep knowledge. I booked a 30 min consult and the person came into my facial for 2 mins and that was the consult and then the facial was a disaster. No good news for Beauty on the Lake, other than there are many, many other options in CDA and you are now pre-warned. Run somewhere else. read more

So I wanted to praise not one, but two of the employees at Beauty at the Lake. First, Brianna is absolutely amazing! Not only was the facial I got phenomenal and so relaxing, but you can tell she truly cares about her clients. I have really bad hyper pigmentation and melasma on my face and she went above and beyond to not only answer questions I had, but to give me tips and advice for different products and practices that could help even out my skin tone. I've seen a huge difference and I know a big part of that was because of her patience and willingness to help. The second employee I wanted to praise was Rebecca. I have always had really bad worry lines on my forehead and between my eyes. For my wedding last year, I wanted to look and feel my best, so I signed up for some botox with Rebecca. I had NEVER had any kind of injection/filler/etc. before and was extremely nervous. She did an amazing job and answered any and all questions I had about the injections. I loved how it turned out and I've gone back twice since. Each time I can see my lines coming back smaller and less defined after the botox starts to wear down. Both the beautiful ascetic and the lovely staff at Beauty at the Lake create a supreme salon experience incomparable to any other I've had. I found them when looking for a more natural and sensitive approach to lash extensions after having severe irritation after a year of getting them. The skin around my eyes and eyelids was red and peeling and my eyes hurt. Michelle was very comprehensive and sweet in my consultation and I ended up getting a lash lift with Brianna and I am so much happier than with the extensions. I had no irritation , it was cheaper and less maintenance, no worries about water or special products, and it looks flawless until your next appointment in 3 months. By my second appointment they knew me by name and I have always been made to feel spoiled there. I also started getting the derma plane also from Brianna and can't recommend this enough either, my skin felt so soft it almost felt fake!
