I was very specific about my cut: length, shape, layers, etc. I even showed her pictures of previous cuts. It was nothing drastic, but just needed to be trimmed & reshaped. Unfortunately, it was cut way shorter than specified because *gasp* curly hair kinks up! It's not even shoulder-length which looks choppy & flat now. I guess when you use half a ton of styling products, you can disguise the fact that too much was cut off. I can barely put my hair up or in a pony tail now. I'm just going to wait until this mess grows out, but I will never go back. $50 is ridiculous and way overpriced. The only positive aspect was the girl (long, dark curly hair) who shampooed my hair; she was very friendly and professional.

I asked for long layers and some highlights to brighten it up a bit. Leaving, I had three choppy layers, the hair was cut in the center, and the side layer was higher than my left year when I combed it over to the side. The stylist told me "dont freak out, Im cutting it for center, even tho you have a side part". The highlights were layered in in sheets, leaving me with vertical stripes, in addition, she must have run out of color, because the entire bottom layer was left as it was. Color selection for highlights was VERY different from my hair color. Long story short, my savings of $50 has cost me OVER $600 to fix, between color correction and cuts. It has taken me three weeks to be able to write this review without crying.
