This store literally won't let you shop. They will follow you around and give you unwanted make up advice. I couldn't even pick what I wanted. I've never had such a horrible experience at an Ulta ever. To call out in front of a store full of customers that you don't recommend a product for my skin tone is just absurd, especially when asked to let me shop independently repeatedly. I wish I could put zero stars. I've been to Ulta stores from California to New York and I've never experienced such micromanaging while shopping. I went there back in February to get my makeup done and hair styled for a Mardi Gras ball, bad idea.. the hair wasn't the issue and my stylist was very nice but did not do a good job on makeup. I showed her inspiration pictures for the makeup, pictures of my sky blue dress, and informed her that I do not like the look of foundation on myself and I am a lip gloss over lip stick person. The only thing that was right is she didn't use foundation. My eyelash strips were put on so poorly you could see how uneven they were in every photo, she put a purple lip stick on me which would've gone horribly with my dress and lined my lips like a child tried to do it, so uneven. When I informed her that my lips were super uneven she proceeded to put a q-tip in front of me and tell me to "lick it" and proceeded to wipe my face with it, it is a beauty store, filled with probably 1,000 brands of makeup remover wipes and oils. It still didn't look good even after that so after my appointment I had to buy some wipes and gloss and proceeded to redo my lips, nothing I could do about my eyelashes. I don't like to leave negative reviews but I would not recommend this place for makeup. read more

I went to Ulta and bought a fragrance (Phantom robot) and it was 119 dollars with a 23.80 added on from tax I used a 20 percent off coupon when it was brought down to 105.67 I paid 106 dollars i didn't receive my 33 cent change I didn't have a problem with the store it was very organized and overall a good store but id like to receive my change next time. read more

Ladies were very rude. I went in for a lot of items and was supposed to get a couple of free gifts, both items were "already out of stock". They said they only got 2 of each to get away. If that's the case, shame on you Ulta. The free gift signs should be taken down. read more

For years I've colored my hair. It was brittle dry and in very poor condition. After coming to Chris my hair feels and looks fabulous! Chris is so positive and knowledgeable, I'm one of his many fans! The entire staff Sheila, Mini, Chris make everyone feel welcome, they all share outgoing entertaining personalities! Kellie has done my hair since we've been here and she does a great job. She was very accommodating when I asked for her advice on certain products and even helped me find some facial products. She was fun to talk to and my hair looked great. I'll definitely be coming back to Ulta to have my hair done by Kellie the next time we're in the area. read more

Went in to by a couple of items and asked for help. The girl had a a "I really can't be bothered" attitude and was no help and rude. She offered no advice and seems to not want to walk anywhere around the store to show me different options. Never been to an Ulta where I was treated so poorly. They need staff training! read more

I have reached out to Ulta numerous times in the last month related to a service I received. I had gone in to have my roots done. I had my color applied and the stylist continued to finish another client. I had No problem with that. About 45 minutes later she checked and said it's not lifting like it should and reapplied more color. Checked again about half hour later and still was not lifting . At this point two hours into a root color I asked why is this taking so long. She stated that the order hadn't come in and she was getting her own products and bringing them into Ulta. She stated she wanted to try one more thing. 2 1/2 hours into it she put bleach in to lift it quicker and had put it on my root area . After three hours my frustration was starting to show. The blame was placed on lack of supplies from Ulta. Had I known I would have not had my hair done. All said in done I left in tears with purple, gray, and yellow hair. I was not charged for color of course, just the cut. I did express my dissatisfaction to the stylist and manager. The stylist requested I come back on Sunday day for her to try and fix it, she wanted to give my scalp a rest as it was so irritated. I chose not to go back as my hair had so much damage. Since then I have reached out to Ulta with no resolution. I had been a loyal customer for many years in Massachusetts. read more
