They brought out the shoe requested in two sizes. They didn't come back and check on us or see if we needed different shoes. Then my five year old said she had to go pee. They refused to let her use the restroom. We had to rush out of there to drive to another place nearby for her to use the restroom. The point of brick and mortar is customer service, which is severely lacking here. We'll go to Amazon in the future for soccer cleats.

I could buy this a lot of places but I chose REI because I am a member and because I was going to the Whole Foods next door. I did a circle around the store just to see it and then found what I needed and got in line. The cashier was super friendly and got me to donate to whatever and gave me a sticker. I went to get a casual rain coat and I found exactly what I was looking for but I did have to sift through the coats to find the one I was looking for. Torrentialshell 3L Patagonia was hidden up at the top amongst a few brands. I could hardly reach it. If it weren't for my retail background I wouldn't have known they have one of those reachers somewhere around. I found one hidden and hanging, grabbed it and was able to get my size. I love that it's a little oversized so I can put my Nano puff underneath when it's winter so I can have extra warmth and a windbreaker. Also learned that combo from a nice woman from the alpine shop (probably my favorite) When I went to check out, there was a man in front of me who left his purchase and the cashier tried to get him back. That's when he said he was doing a return. So she had to refund him twice. Yikes. She was nice enough when she rang me out. Parking is hit or miss in town and country because there's so many great places in this shopping center. You may have to walk a bit even during the middle of the week when you'd think everyone was at work.

It took multiple explanations to multiple people for them to even believe me that the product was broken. Their solution was for me to bring it back to the store. I told them I don't have a pickup truck and I'm one person so how am I going to do that (I ordered online from their store and it was delivered to me) They had no help and just told me to do it. So I'm stuck with this broken bike and if I want to return it I have to make a friend with a pickup truck or hire an outside person to help me return the damn thing EVEN WHEN IT BROKE WITHIN THEIR WARRANTY. The whole reason I bought from a local store was so I could try out the bike in store and hopefully it would be easier to return to a local store than Amazon. (They also only had 2 bikes to try in the ENTIRE store, making that a waste of a trip). I was wrong. Just order from Amazon, you can use their Pilot program to pickup your bike if it breaks. Here at Dick's (which should have better customer service) they live up to their name and suggest you figure it out and bring it back yourself, even if you're disabled, live alone, and don't have a pickup truck. I bought a set of golf clubs from Play It Again and after doing some research I realized that the clubs were so old that they weren't even in production anymore. Nevermind the fact that there was an additional charge at the register that was not told to me until I looked at the itemized receipt....the clubs were still too expensive for what they were. I went on marketplace and found a way, way better golf club set for less than half the price. I returned the clubs and I am in better shape because of it.
