If I could give this rental service zero stars I would. Service was absolutely terrible - no concern or follow through - customer service just awful. I should have realized that even on the 4th call they had no idea what I wanted to rent - no records of my calls. Well I learned my lesson. I instructed them what we wanted. Pretty simple 15 tables and 50 chairs. I only had one special request was that I would not be avaiable to acccept delivery between 4-5pm. Guess when they delivered??? Yes 4pm, with the wrong table poles for the tables. I had high tops with regualr chairs. Go figure. They took the table poles back then said they would take 30 mins to get the new ones to us. An hour an a half later they arrived. Just 30 mins before the event started leaving us to SCRAMBLE to get everything for guests. They showed no concern or care with the issue they caused blamed the poor service on someone on vaction. Pick-up was just as bad as delivery I was told pick-up would be between 2-3pm and they showed 5 hours later at 7pm!!! JUST TERRIBLE. I would NEVER use Ultimate rental service again. read more

Don't use this company ever! Had a pickup time between 5 and 8 and they showed up past 8. We are in a union building so we had to pay extra for dock times due to them being late. In addition, the tables we rented were in bad shape one wouldn't stay up and was delivered with grass attached to it. When I called to get a credit Alan was verbally abusive and would not consider giving a credit for their late pickup or for the defective table. This is one of the most unprofessional companies I have ever used. Don't make the same mistake I did by using this shady company. read more

I almost didn't call because I thought they just rented tents and I only needed tables and chairs. I'm very impressed with how professional everyone is. Obtaining a quote and signing an e- contract was simple ( I was able to have it done while I waited in line at Costco,it was that quick and easy!!!), prices are fair, everything I received was in great condition and the gentleman that loaded everything into my truck was professional. I even received a call from the office to let me know traffic was crazy near their location and the girl helped reroute me! Seriously, A+ service! Had a party for my daughter with 75 guests. I ordered table and chairs set up, the process was very easy just took one phone call. The guys who came to set up were on time and arranged everything just how I wanted (more than once without complaints). They came back the next day and took everything down and hauled it away. Everything was high quality from the office person, to the delivery people, to the table and chairs themselves. Will definitely use them for future event needs, they have a ton of stuff to pick from. Do NOT use this company. If anything can go wrong with your event this company will contribute! They were 77 minutes late upon delivery and 47 minutes late to pick up. TERRIBLE SERVICE, no sense what of what customer service means & no ethics. The staff (customer service rep, supervisor & general manager) will not apologize or admit that there was any wrong doing on their part. Our crew did all of the unloading and breakdown of the equipment and they refuse to give us any sort of credit or compensation. We used this company for tents/tables/chairs/etc. at our first ever 5K in Chicago this spring. Despite our perfect credit, they made us pay $3500 up front. On the day of the event, they were two hours late (having gone to the wrong part of the park). This made it physically impossible to be set up by the time our event opened and some of what we paid for never got set up. We provided 15 volunteers for two hours to quicken the work. We have received no phone call other than from the sales rep who wrote the wrong address on our contract and then missed the emails we sent her with the address of the venue and a map. No discount has been offered to us, and no apology. We are reasonable people, but this company is extremely unprofessional and we would never use them again. read more

Super easy to work with and everything looked great. They delivered everything as scheduled, had a whole crew for set up, and were very communicative throughout the process. We really loved working with them and found them to be WAY more reasonably priced than other rental companies in the area. I used these guys for my wedding in November. They were really easy to work with over the phone and very responsive in my emails. They even have a price match, so when I was calling around for quotes, that was really great. I was able to get all the tables and chairs I needed for my wedding, and also pipe and drape through them. They also don't try to sell you a bunch of rentals that you don't need, which I really appreciated. The only thing I wish they had were kid-friendly chairs (booster seats and high chairs), but luckily I was able to get those through my caterer instead. read more

We used this company for a grad party 6/15/13. delivery on 6/14 was scheduled 10am until noon. They arrived a 6pm after repeated calls and promises to be there within a 2 hour window. Delivered the wrong size tent, no margarita machine or volleyball net . My husband had to re-flag the sprinkler system to accommodate a larger tent and the underground wiring for the sound system placement had to be altered by 10 ft. The margarita machine came the next morning and upon seeing the regulation volleyball net and ball in the truck, i asked the driver to put it in the tent since it was raining. He left a 25.00 badminton/volleyball net boxed from Walmart for a charge of 35.00. Company would not return my calls, finally reached them this morning. Requested refund of volleyball net charge and 10% discount of a 700.00 order because of the rework my husband had to do. Was called a liar, (didn't see a regulation volleyball net in truck) was told to "chill out" "making a big deal over nothing, we received a larger tent" was called "you people" and when I said "excuse me?" he railed about people like me that only want a discount and hung up on me!! WOW, I can't believe this company is in business and are as big as they are. RUN from this company!! I'm joining Angies List just to get the word out on these people. Christine M. Management reached out after a particularly poor experience and explained that the problems we had were mainly due to an employee who has since been let go of. They were extremely apologetic and interested in being able to prove that the experience I had was not indicative of the way they normally conduct business. I had a rush order that I needed filled so i decided to give these guys another chance and I am very glad that I did. Everything about the order went very smooth and I really appreciated the effort they put into showing a customer that they appreciate and value their business. Event was on June 29, 2013. What happened to Customer Service? Where do I start delivery was supposed to be between 12 & 3 on June 28. They arrived at 7pm. No calls saying they would be late. I rented a frame tent 20x30 & other misc things. The tent had two pinholes on the top crown. I called & was told that someone would come out Saturday to fix the holes. The delivery guys didn't have the stuff to fix it. Needless to say they never came out to fix the problem. The manager said how about I just come & pick up everything mind you this is a few hours before my event. Just rude people & quality was not good. I asked who is in charge the owner. I was advised that it was a slient owner & that I wouldn't be able to get a hold of them. read more

We rented wedding chairs from them and the experience was great! They were the only place I could find who would actually do set-up and tear-down. The chairs were right on time and looked perfect. We had a very limited budget and skimped on ceremony decorations, so the white chairs really made it look like a wedding. It was perfect! read more

Please DO NOT use their services. I wish I could give zero stars - but I'll let the one slide only because one delivery person was trying. This is the first time I have ever posted on yelp - good or bad. I signed up just to let everyone know how horrible this place is. I used them for a party I had been planning for over a year. Of course they came out and talked the talk. When it came time for the actual date they were absolutely horrible. Just about every single thing they sent was wrong and the worse part is that they truly did not care. I and my party planner left numerous voicemails over the three days from the first installation to the party to try to get any answer. They never returned a single phone call. We only were able to contact them by calling every half hour until someone answered the phone. They finally delivered one thing two hours before the party started that was missing but did not repair or replace everything that was missing or wrong. It truly was the most stressful experience I have ever had. read more
