We had Ultimate Tree Service, LLC remove two extremely large water oak trees this week. They were so professional, friendly and efficient! We were provided up front with a copy of their insurance coverage along with our work order. Their crane was needed for the removal of one of the trees, and they had all the equipment available to make short work (about six hours) of what I thought would surely take two days. Once finished, the yard barely looked like they were ever there, with the exception of the two trees gone. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing tree removal or lot clearing. We had Ray at Ultimate Tree Service come out and give us a quote a few weeks ago. It seemed high, but we hadn't had any major tree cutting in ages so went ahead with hiring them. The difference in our property, from before Ultimate to after they finished was night and day. Unreliable, untrustworthy, cause expensive mistakes they promise to correct and then refuse to respond for months. Spouse of owner resorts to abusive emails and phone calls and interesting falsifications of liability waivers that she then cannot produce. Beware. Crews do not do their homework on which tree is going to hit another tree inadvertently and knock down neighbor's trees or fences. Also do not have the training to properly operate outriggers. Fail to balance load, fail to put down wood or other stabilizers under the outriggers causing catastrophic damage to concrete driveways. Response at the time was that they have a 'concrete guy' who will be out to fix the damage because it 'happens all the time.' And then no one shows up. I waited until I moved before submitting this review due to the threats from owner's spouse. Also, don't be fooled by the different address. I have been calling Ultimate Tree Service for over 3 weeks now requesting an estimate on removing some tree limbs from a tree overhanging my house. They have promised to come and never showed. Then they say they will call back on the day they are coming. Well, I guess that day hasn't come yet. I'm glad they expect a person to sit and wait indefinitely. Good luck at getting an estimate. This review is for the Ultimate Tree Service in Magnolia Springs. Ray runs the company & his wife Amy answers the phone. So apparently a kitchen door business. Which I suppose would be okay if they did what they agreed to do but that's not what happened. If you have any business done here in Southern Alabama either use a reputable company or get a written contract .... in fact just get a written contract whenever you are period!!! My husband & I are both retired, on a limited income & he is a veteran.We are honest people who treat others the way we want to be treated. But apparently none of this makes any difference to some people. I did not want to leave a bad review so I called them & asked that they return to finish the job according to our verbal agreement. At first Amy said that they would call after they returned from their Cruise. That was well over a month ago. So I left a voicemail today because I didn't want their children to read something bad about their father. What I got was a blasting text full of sarcasm & misinformation. Certainly not the kind of response I would expect from professional business owners. Her response to me was basically you can say whatever you want in a bad review it's not going to affect our business then she added... LOL . Where is honesty, integrity, concern for your name & reputation? They failed to fulfill the agreement but we paid. For this we are not sorry because their workers were good honest men who tried hard to do the best they could without Ray's support. Ray left them here, then bailed on his previous agreement. Please leave reviews when you have business with people like this because if I had I read this review I wouldn't have had to know these people who treat others with disrespect & dishonesty. Btw...we have to hire another company to do what they fail to do. read more
