Drew got me on the calendar quickly and had a crew to do the tear off first thing in the morning on day one. The crew got the tear off done and papered roof on first day with new shingles on ridge line. The crew was very hard working and kept me in the loop and were very helpful. Second day installers came in and completed roof and put new flashing on chimney stack and did a great job and very good communication. Great cleanup and roof is very nice. This is my second roof from McKenzie Roofing and they will be my first call for any roofing needs.

Luckily it turned out that the cause of my leak wasn't a leaking roof but actually caused by a build up of leaves and tree debris causing water to be backlogged and forced up under my shingles. They informed me of this and saved me from having to do anything besides jumping on my roof and clearing it all away. After a few hours of clearing everything, it was good as new and now I know not to allow this debris to sit on my roof during rainy season. As a newish and first-time homeowner, I've been having to suss out good companies for a wide range…read moreof services. A strategy I've tried recently has been when I need something done at the house, I just email or message on Yelp a bunch of businesses telling them what I need and seeing who actually contacts me back and wants my business. I've done that twice now and I'm having good results. I contacted a bunch of businesses to get my gutters cleaned and roof treated and heard back from exactly two of them: Scott Gutter Roof Cleaning and Cutting Edge. Both companies came out quickly to give bids and Cutting Edge has good reviews, but Scott Gutter Roof Cleaning was about a third of the price. Scot came out when he said he would and braved the rain to clear out even the third floor gutters on the back of the house. He also offers free re-treatment of the roof if it pours rain immediately after and washes away the stuff. Barring finding out he was just spraying agent orange on the roof, I'll very likely give him a call again in another year.

I called multiple times and emailed with no response for days. After leaving a review online I received a call back that they'd be out the next day. They said the storm kept them from installing on the day I was scheduled. Note, the storm was after my scheduled date. They waited until the last 30 minutes of install to tell us if we paid with cash they'd take 10% off. We rushed to the bank while they complained about having to wait. They also missed an entire section of the house and asked for picture proof when I called them. They returned a couple days later to complete that portion. Did they remedy the issue of the initial review/complaint? Yes. Would I hire them again? Absolutely not.
