My friends and I came here for coffee and breakfast Monday morning. There's lots of parking options nearby which is nice. They're also dog friendly inside and outside. I tried their iced honey lavender latte which was delicious and then their avocado sandwich on an everything bagel and added an egg. The breakfast sandwich wasn't bad. We sat outside which was nice.

We turned our GPS towards Asheville arts district with coffee on our mind. We yelped this place and it did not disappoint. Two dirty chai lattes later and an energy ball and we are happy. Very delicious! Nice vibe. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Service and ambiance was relatively speedy. I got a Taylor (sausage, egg, chipotle mayo and vegan cream cheese instead of cheddar on a GF bagel) and a GF/DF brookie. This was the first time I ever had a brookie, and it was delicious. A slight crunch on the top, but fudgy on the bottom. The bagel sandwich came out very warm and the flavors were all on point. Overall, the fact that "ultra" is in this place's name suits it perfectly.

One of our favorite coffee shops in Asheville proper. The grilled cheddar biscuits are still incredibly amazing. Small parking lot but also street parking as well not too far from business.

walked in to a clean and standard coffee shop, but what really stood out was the friendly customer service! I immediately felt welcome and the person at the register was more than happy to answer my questions. I had the lox bagel and a cappuccino -- both were excellent. My only critique is the bagel was on the chewier side without a crispy exterior, and there could have been a little bit more cream cheese, but overall the ingredients were high quality and the flavor was there! Would absolutely come back for a casual date or remote work day. Thanks, Ultra!

While exploring the River and Arts district of Asheville, I definitely recommend making a stop at Ultra Coffeebar for a quick break and caffeination. The menu has the full line of caffeinated beverages that you can need. I decided to try the shakerato, adding the honey lavender syrup for the sweet floral touch, and it was the perfect after adding some milk. I love how there are some local goods and art available for sale inside the shop, as well that was easy to browse while waiting for my coffee. It is definitely the ULTRA coffee shop for the River Arts District!

Cutest spot with some of the most fun workers. Live the location (minus the parking). Great assortment of pastries and delicious hearty breakfast Sammy's. Sweet little spot with some local art and jewelry for sale. Seating inside and out. Love the nitro coffee. Expensive but delicious. The lemon bar was surprisingly not sticky and rather fluffy but I loved it.

Bagels were fire and staff was so kind. Good amount of seating. By far my favorite part was the board that changed messages that were specific to people in the restaurant. A sweet detail of customer relations that kept us laughing. Feels like a very communal Asheville spot. Also they have a parking lot which is a huge W haha. We'll be back the next time we're in town!

Great place for coffee and breakfast! The lox bagel and matcha latte I had really hit the spot. Baristas are friendly, and service was fast even on a Saturday morning!

UltraCofee is a great place to refuel while wandering around the River Arts District in Asheville. They've got lots for vegetarians and there are gluten-free options as well at this small, order-at-the-counter spot. I had the Fig and Brie and Ciabatto which was a great combination of flavors. It came with a bag of chips (no other options or choices for sides, at least none offered.) My wife was excited for a gluten-free bagel but they were out by the time we got there, so she ended up with the Ultraman salad wrap which she thought was good. Somehow we missed them calling our name while we were waiting in the eating area so our food sat there for a while before we realized it was taking a while and came looking for it. They have a vegan lunch menu with three options, a vegan breakfast menu with 5 options and plenty of choices if you also eat dairy. The food did the job for us during a short break between wandering in and out of the nearby art galleries...it's a local, not-so-crowded spot so felt comfortable enough, though we did feel a little rushed through the ordering process.

I stopped in my first day and got the LT sandwich, which was amazing, but I ended up spending almost as much time looking around the store as I did eating. They have everything from local mustards and honey to tinned fish, seasonings, and a whole section from a local creamery with ice cream, yogurt, smoothies, etc. Everything seems thoughtfully picked out and locally sourced when possible, without having the ridiculous prices you sometimes expect from a place like this. The staff was also amazing--genuinely friendly, helpful, and happy to talk about the food and everything they carry. I liked the place enough that, despite having an entire city of restaurants I'd never tried before, I came back the very next day. This time I got the grinder, which ended up being my favorite, along with the roast beef, which was also delicious. Between the sandwiches, the people, and the frankly ridiculous amount of good shit packed into the store, everything about this place was great. There are plenty of places I didn't get a chance to try while I was in Asheville, but I have absolutely no regrets using two lunches on this one. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town. Shoutout to one of the owners- Patty- goes out of his way to take care of customers

I think everything is made in house and it tastes like it. As their name states, they make gourmet potato chips with varying, over-the-top flavors ranging from salt and balsamic vinegar to ones topped with brown sugar, bacon and chocolate. Between the 12 of us we tried Salt & Vinegar, The Corsica, Southern BBQ and The Italiano. I had the Italiano Panini and The Nori chips. Both were totally delicious. The panini came out hot and gooey. The bread tasted great and the chips were so unique and surprising. I will say that they drizzled a little too much red chili aioli sauce. It was very thick and flavorful. However, after a few bites it was too much so I wiped off some of the sauce. But it was really good, and inventive. Everything is fresh and made to order so it did take us a while to get all of our food, given that we were a large group. They told us before we even sat and we still wanted to try it, so that no big deal. And I will say this. Our table was the last to get served and the food was amazing. Sometimes at restaurants the standards fall when they get busy and that DID NOT happen here. They served great dish after great dish. Bags of chips are available for purchase as well. I'm totally kicking myself that I didn't get some to take home. Gourmet Chip is an Asheville gem!

They sell both pre-packaged bags as well as fresh-made chips to eat in-house. So naturally we tried both! Their Salt & 3 Vinegar chips were delicious. Perfect for an afternoon snack as you're exploring downtown. We ended up taking home some of their truffle chips, which were also tasty. My only complaint was that they needed salt. Not sure if they put less salt on because you can always add more, but they were so much better once we sprinkled some in the bag and shook. They also have sandwiches here - didn't get to try one on our visit, but they looked tasty. Good stop both for a meal as well as a snack.

Sadly, they weren't busy at all, but we really liked the "funky" vibe and the large covered outdoor seating area they offered. We ordered drinks and food at the bar and then grabbed a high top outside. Since I like cucumber water, I ordered the Coolcumber - a golden ale brewed with cucumber, juniper, & basil. It was delicious and refreshing. For dinner, we ordered the Kale Caesar Salad and Mortadella Pizza (formerly the Bologna Pizza...or vice versa). Both the salad and pizza were generously portioned and perfect for two of us to share. Let's start with the salad. O.M.G. It is one of the best kale salads -- if not THE best kale salad -- I've ever had. They took care to massage the leaves with the dressing to make them very tender, then it was topped with a mound of shredded Parmesan cheese. So incredibly tasty. If you've ever turned your nose up at kale, this will change your mind. Next up was the Mortadella/Bologna pizza. It was wood-fired to char the crust and then covered in sauce, mozzarella, mortadella, stracciatella, and pistachio pesto. Having recently been to Italy, these were all ingredients I was still craving. It was delicious. The food was crave-worthy. The drink menu is extensive. The staff was all really friendly and welcoming. And the atmosphere was awesomely funky. I'd definitely return.
