Iced latte with homemade lavender syrup, sausage egg and local goat cheese croissant

I pass Get Roasted every day on my way home, and never paid it much attention. I was a little skeptical of the walk-up order only, but today I finally decided to give it a try; and oh am I glad I did! The owners, Greg and Andi, were a delightful and kind couple with a passion for their little cafe. Whoever wrote the review saying they were rude must be out of their mind, because Andi's smile alone brightened this rainy day! ACR's coffee and food are a genuine treat. If you like high quality, strong espresso drinks, get ready to fall in love! The lavender latte is bold and smooth with sweet floral notes. The croissant sandwich I got, toasted to flaky buttery perfection, was out of this world paired with Asheville local goat cheese. I will absolutely return and encourage everyone to try it! This experience was a lovely way to start my week.

I swung by this coffee shop on the way to a hike because a friend said it was the best in town and it did not disappoint! Lavender coffees sometimes taste soapy but this one tasted very floral and sweet. They also have bagels and pastry options which all sounded great! My friend unfortunately didn't inform me that we would be swinging by here so I already ate breakfast.. The staff was also super welcoming and friendly so I will definitely be coming back!

Loved this place! It's a quaint, simplistic, cozy coffee house. The coffee was delicious. The owners are in-house. We got to talk with the owner about the history of Asheville Coffee Roasters. He even pulled out old photographs to show their beginnings 20 years ago. What a special experience that you cannot come across often in today's world. As tourists wanting to see more community and less commodity, we could not have asked for more!

Smoked Salmon Nova on an Everything bagel. So yummy! Also had the Lavendar Latte. Also yummy! Great place to just chill!

Great coffee and sandwiches. Easy in and out from the highway. Take some coffee beans home with you!

Tucked away near the end of Broadway, Rowan possesses a warm and understated charm. The soft lighting and calm atmosphere create a cozy ambiance that exudes thoughtfully curated design, while the gentle hum of conversation and espresso machines add a touch of life to the space. It's the kind of coffee shop where rainy afternoons feel like a cinematic scene from your favorite film. Recently, I met a date here, as Rowan seemed like the perfect setting for such a memorable beginning. After we greeted one another with an intimate kiss just outside the doors of Rowan Coffee, I observed a Duchenne smile flash across her face before we embarked on what became an emotionally recursive, psychologically layered Asheville odyssey, as we explored Malaprop's Bookstore, the Grove Arcade, Wall Street, Pack Square Park, I.M. Pei's connection to structures outside both the Louvre and the Asheville Art Museum, French Broad Chocolate, Cúrate, and the South Slope. The coffee at Rowan is truly exceptional. Each cup is thoughtfully crafted, balanced, and served with care by passionate baristas. It can be rather challenging to find premium cold brew these days, but the cold brew on offer here is some of the best I've found in Asheville. Whether you're enjoying a cappuccino, catching up with a friend, or studying/working near the back, Rowan provides the perfect atmosphere for unwinding and savoring the moment. My date ordered a mocha that morning, and based on the enthusiasm with which it disappeared, I'd be remiss not to mention it. The mochas are so good here that girls do circle back. And if you don't, you're missing out. What truly sets Rowan apart is its comfort. It's an intimate space without being overcrowded; it's stylish without being pretentious. It encourages conversation, reflection, and even accidental three-hour stays.

Also got a pastry (peach almond danish), which was good, I just wish there was an option to heat it up so the texture could shine. Can't wait to come back!

There is street parking nearby, and this place is always hopping. This place makes me think of a southerner's take on a French bakery. Absolutely gorgeous on the inside with decadent sweets to choose from, while also featuring classics like a Swiss roll or a cream puff. They also offer breakfast/brunch/lunch, as well as made to order cakes. (Their coconut cake is award-winning). We came in recently and got a BLT, chicken salad on croissant (with watermelon salad), quiche, cream puff, lemon Swiss roll, and lattes. The sandwiches were all delicious and this was my first time trying watermelon salad - fresh and perfect to accompany the sandwiches. Their quiches are large and filling - perfect on their own for breakfast. For lattes, we got a vanilla latte, and then their July 4th special, which had strawberry and white chocolate in it - the July 4th specialty latte was decadent - if you like sweet, you should give it a try. All in all, I think we paid $50ish for our meal. This spot is a must if you're in the area!

The photographs of bondage and words like "slut" are not what I want to look at with my child when I am sipping a coffee. Staff were complaining about pay and customers while I sat and sipped. Also not great. I've worked service industry jobs, we all have complaints, but maybe don't yell about it over the espresso machine to another co-worker who is sitting on the couch. Unprofessional, uncomfortable. Those are words I would use to describe this place. Would've been cool to see books there that were not fantasy. Seems like a pretty exclusive place, catering to people who like anime, bondage, and talking crap. Pretty unfortunate because the place is cute. Won't be returning.

Upon asking, I discerned that despite the rebrand, they were still offering boba tea in addition to coffee. The tulsi-flavored tea I got was not overly sweet, but the generous popping boba made for enough of a sugar rush. They had a few baked goods. I suspect that operations will improve as the city rebuilds.
