As with most gas stations, they have propane for sale, and this Petro also has a car wash as well. Pro tip: any Petro Canada cash wash vouchers can be used at all Petro stations (with a car wash). Useful if ever your local car wash is under maintenance. It's clean inside and the staff are actually pretty engaging and helpful, which is a nice change compared to some other gas stations.

The big issue here is the layout of the station. It's in a busy location and there is also a Timmy's (with drive through), so the traffic that goes through here on a regular basis is fairly constant. Because the drive though curves around the building and past the pumps, there is often driving congestion between pump customers, Timmy's customers, and the occasional driver coming out of the adjacent shopping area. Getting in and out of the station is also a little tricky since both roads cornering the area are also busy. So be careful, drive slowly, and really watch out for others, and you should have no issues! Otherwise, the actual staff in the station are great and they usually have at least two folks working at a time to keep lines moving efficiently!

A few pumps and a well stocked convenience store - what more do you need? If you are part of the Petro points program, they have really increased their program rewards lately, constantly offering more and better rewards to fill up your car. I keep my card in my car instead of my wallet so I always have it if ever I'm stopping in!

It's neighboured by a Dymon storage facility and a giant church, and it's on one of the most busy intersection corners in the South-West of Ottawa, off roads that could certainly use some attention (so bumpy getting in and out). Once you are in the lot, I must admit, this location was planned a lot more efficiently than many others. The lot is large making it easier to navigate (and avoid other drivers) and even thought there is a lot going on in that area, once you are in, it's quite smooth sailing. Again, be careful getting back out on to the roads - there are a lot of merge lanes in this area, which means there are quite a few drivers rushing to beat the line before the lane ends so they are driving a little faster than they potentially should be.

It was minus 200 out though so I just wanted to get home. Service was friendly after a bit of a line up. The gentleman worker/cashier told me to come back in summer when the store was cleaner and floors, drier. It looked clean and pleasant to me considering winter and heavy volume. They just have to put all their wines in the right price slots! Getting gas was a breeze. Easy and many pumps. Off a very busy main road and requires patience at rush hour coming in and leaving the lot.
