Children and their families are very blessed to have a facility like this that allows their family members to be close to them during a difficult time. Everything in the facility is pretty much donated by various organizations. From the food to the rooms these families are provided for. The facility is kept clean and for the most part looks very comfortable. If I had the funds I would pour into these facilities as well because insurance only covers so much.

The Junior League goes above and beyond to help those in need. The league helped create so many fundamental organizations in Miami including the original Museum of Science. I have met so many wonderful friends. The women are all inspiring and supportive of one another. We are always trying to help and support all members in league and outside. The league also serves as a training organization, where members can learn new tools such as fundraising, retention/recruitment, events, development and many other skills that can be applicable in all aspects of life. Very disappointed with this office. I scheduled my appointment MONTHS in advance, only to receive a…read morecancellation notice one day before my appointment with the next available opening pushed far out. I understand emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can happen, but giving patients less than 24 hours notice after patients have already waited months is extremely frustrating and inconsiderate. What made the situation even worse was the communication. I called the number that texted me 3-4 times trying to get clarification and reschedule, and the phone kept getting picked up and hung up. I eventually had to call from a completely different number just to get someone to answer. That experience felt very unprofessional and added even more frustration to an already stressful situation. Patients arrange work schedules, transportation, childcare, and personal obligations around these appointments, so better communication and consideration would be appreciated. I am highly disappointed with the scheduling and front desk experience.

The items we received were premium quality and far better than I expected. The entire process was smooth, organized, and completely stress-free. We never even had to get out of the car! I also want to give a special thank-you to the city employee who kindly added my child's name to the list. And yes, we received a turkey too! I truly appreciate the care, generosity, and coordination that went into this event.

Doral location review: This review is not about the drs -…read morebut unfortunately a doctor's staff says a lot about the dr. I took my grandson yesterday for drs appointment and the lady behind the glass, Carmen, was the only thing I encountered. As per Carmen, my appointment never existed, even after my son confirmed twice before I arrived. She asked me who the patient was and before I even said my grandson's name, she cut me off and told me there was no dr at the office. I proceeded to try and talk with her and she left me talking by myself and went into the back where I could not see her. When I called for her, she rudely yelled at me that she was on the phone. Carmen is the rudest receptionist I have encountered in this city where customer service is a top priority. Carmen should not be a receptionist, nor work with people, and certainly not be the initial contact with the public for your office. While sharing this experience with my son, it's clear that Carmen was not having a bad day, this is her usual self. I was appalled at the way I was treated. No one should ever be addressed the way Carmen spoke to me. Perhaps a playback of her video dealing with me could be a great way to teach her how to deal with patients. I wish that they would be able to expand to offer their outstanding services in other major south Florida cities that are critically in need of a program like the WOW Center. They offer art, music, technology classes and take their clients on field trips as well other fun community events.
