The butchers and the meats and cheeses counters are absolutely brilliant with a huge choice on display, plus they are always willing to mince any type of fresh meat or even chop or slice it to your liking. They also stock a huge selection of wines and spirits at very reasonable prices of course! Fresh bread is constantly baked throughout the day. The staff, without exception, are always friendly and cheerful, and eager to please! Fresh milk, veg and salads always in stock...in fact I would say that this supermarket has everything that you could ever need for day to day living, and, in my view is streets ahead of the bigger supermarket giant, Lidl, very close by.

It has an underground car park which is free for an hour (or thereabouts) if you spend over 6 Euros - don't forget to keep your receipt and present it at the little office in the car park to get your ticket validated. A good range of products, I can't comment too much on price as I don't really count the pennies when I'm on holiday so I wouldn't really notice if one shop was a bit cheaper than another. Lovely fish counter, a good range of bread and rolls (not always easy to find in Lanzarote supermarkets in my experience) and wonderful cured hams which unfortunately we had to forego as we would never have got through one in a week! :-) If you're a tourist and you want to pay by credit card don't forget your passport as you'll be required to produce it upon payment. Look out for the litre boxes of wine for less than a Euro too - they're surprisingly good!

This location isn't the largest they have, but it seems to have more stuff than the other locations which are larger in size. Something I find strange! The Spanish have strange ingredients. I often wonder how they can cook with the food supplies their given! I certainly can't bake, I have to go to the american store to find baking supplies. But... here is cheaper and they have sauerkraut. A very important ingredient for sandwiches! And they have one type of bread made without sugar that I can only find here. And it's the ONLY, I repeat ONLY supermarket that doesn't stink of fish! Bad reviews to come about the smell of fish.

They bake fresh bread, have fresh vegetables and good deals all year round. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The opening times are very convenient as they stay open till 9 pm or so. Over the past 4-5 years I have yet to discover a new face at the checkout and it is nice to see familiar and friendly faces. The girls all speak foreign languages and are more than willing to help you out with translations or even sorting out your grocery needs! I am very pleased that they are there and they deserve an special mention on Yelp and indeed on other review sites too! Thank you for making our self catering holidays more pleasant.
