I've had mostly positive experiences here in the past--typically around 4 stars. However, one…read moreconsistent issue has been long waits in a freezing room, wearing only a sheet, well past my appointment time. This included my most recent annual, where I was told we could do a biopsy, but the doctor arrived 40 minutes late and ultimately said she didn't have time. Unfortunately, the last three months have been truly frustrating. I had a small, persistent irritated spot below my clitoris, and my usual doctor referred me to Dr. Schreiber for biopsy/removal. While Dr. Schreiber was pleasant, she mistakenly removed tissue from the wrong area (labial skin). A simple "Can you confirm this is the correct spot?" before the procedure could have prevented this error. At the stitches removal appointment, she had the nerve to tell me I was wrong and that the spot I'm indicating was just irritation from the stitches below it. She agreed to remove it anyway, but didn't suggest sending it to the lab, even though I'm a recent stage 4 rectal cancer survivor. She was wrong, of course, because I felt more comfortable having just had a part of my body cut off and silver nitrate put on it than I did the entire 3 previous weeks. Over the course of multiple follow-ups and messages, my concerns were continually minimized or dismissed. I saw four different doctors: two brushed it off as inflammation, one worsened the issue by removing additional skin, and another prescribed estrogen cream only after I brought it up--and then ignored my biopsy request. Let's say they never resolved the issue, and I'm being treated by a dermatologist now who actually cares about helping. Adding to the frustration, I can never reach anyone on the phone except scheduling, and that's including the triage nurse.

Doctors are fantastic, informative, and willing to take time to answer all your questions. Although…read moregetting an appointment is the hardest thing even when the doctors recommendation has a time frame to come back. Only reason for the lack of stars is due to the front staff, I've never had a good experience with them. They are rude, have an attitude, roll their eyes, and expect you to read their mind when they need something. I tried to ask one questions about the payment, and they just plainly stated I should read what I signed better, when I was not asking a question about what I signed.

The appointment was 3 months out which I felt was reasonable. I had not been to a dermatologist in years plus so I was a little anxious. Right off the bat team check in staff was very cordial professional putting me at ease immediately.Team assistant equally so - just a tremendous caring approach to continue the process preparing for the Doctor. She meticulously made sure my meds and allergies were up to date listened to my concerns.Dr. Kim came into the room- promptly- introduced herself & listened to my concerns addressed them laid out a plan. She acknowledged my thoroughness in what I had done to address my issues. I like that she made me a part of the plan that was concise - gave me a lot of useful information. I was quite impressed.Team check out staff was equally impressive. I could not have asked for a better experience in this realm. A complimentary spacious parking lot with several accessible parking spaces - this location is located near the old South Square mall -quite close to a major interstate & other major routes. Very close to numerous shopping experiences accommodations - restaurants & more!

Very satisfied with the thoroughness of this office and speed with which they took care of me while also listening to concerns. Could not recommend enough based on this first time patient experience. The office was clean, with free wifi. As I left however, I noticed that the parking lot and waiting room were filling quickly so not sure how the experience would go later on in the day, but they were very willing to accommodate an early appointment due to work conflicts.

Chapel Hill Pediatrics and Adolescents is fantastic and I'm so glad I decided to take my newborn to…read moretheir practice. I believe their Durham location is fairly new, and is part of this large building off NC 54 by the 40 Freeway (it's really easy to find). The staff is not only very friendly, but they were also helpful in getting my new little baby girl set up as a new patient. I am a new first-time mom (just over 2 weeks) and finding a pediatrician before was not necessarily easy. There are so many great choices! I noticed that Chapel Hill PA had a great website, great feedback from friends, and lots of good Yelp reviews for their Chapel Hill location. After giving birth at UNC, my little one and I got quickly set up at their Durham location and have had really pleasant visits since. We have seen Dr. Joe and Dr. Woodrum at the Durham location, and we loved them both - especially Dr. Woodrum! The doctors were both friendly, caring, helpful and attentive to my husband and I's questions and needs. Most of all, they take their time with each family they see. The pediatrics team does a great job of making new parents feel at ease and prepared for the new chapter of life that awaits them. I am so happy to have chosen Chapel Hill Pediatrics and Adolescents (Durham Location) for my newborn.

We've seen a few other pediatricians since moving, and nobody has ever compared to Dr. Cooley. She's warm, kind, understanding. She has the perfect temperament to be in the field that she's in. When we had our daughter, she made us feel better about not knowing what we were doing. She never made us feel stupid for the millions of obvious questions that we asked. She always answered with grace and kindness. I wish we could replicate her because she truly is one of a kind. I would recommend Dr. Cooley to anyone - especially to new parents. She is absolutely wonderful.
