Fantastic service. Compared to the lack of service via Sarah at Tricity, we are very pleased.

Good experience with my son. Was early in the day so wait wasn't too bad. Nurses were kind and patient with him.

GREAT PLACE FOR ANYONE WITHOUT HEALTH INSURANCE:…read more Pros: a) This place is affordable for those without insurance. A Great alternative to an ER. b) Reasonable wait times (compared to an ER under most circumstances). c) Friendly Helpful medical staff. d) They offer an annual discount club-membership. Upon paying $39, all visits are $99. Unbelievably, these visits include x-rays; blood-work; and other lab testing. e) They perform their own testing in house, so not only are the results provided the same day, but one doesn't have to leave to go to another facility. Talk about convenient! f) If an injectable medication is needed (say an antibiotic), they provide it as part of the $99. g) Very Clean. h) No appointment necessary, and they'll tell you over the phone how long the estimated wait time is to see a physician. i) Clean Restrooms. j) They provide a discount Rx card, which depending on the pharmacy, can actually result in a lower out of pocket cost. k) If like me, you have family visiting from out of the country, you're likely familiar with the medical costs associated with any illness or injury. This place will make it a less painful experience financially. Cons: a) This is not a traditional PCP. For those who have always had insurance offering low cost PCP (Primary Care Physician) visits, this place may feel like a foreign country. b) The paperwork can be a bit daunting for a non-native English speaker.

Front desk staff came in 30min late. Very Unorganized and definitely not coming back!read more

The Deets: In a lot of pain with a red swollen foot, I had to stop into UNC Urgent Care at Park West Village near me in Morrisville to get it checked out. This urgent care ticked all the boxes...convenient, little to no wait, easy check-in procedure, and friendly/helpful staff. For what I considered pretty fast for an urgent care type visit, I was back working with their health staff as they gathered history, performing vitals, and started the physical examination. The PA that helped me out was very patient, listened well, looked at and discussed my history as well as doing a thorough examination of my foot/leg. With differential diagnosis confirmed and prescriptions called into my local pharmacy, I was on my way and relief came soon after that. I was very happy with my visit to UNC Urgent Care at Park West Village.

The second time, and most recently, I walked in and noticed 3 people waiting. I tried signing into the kiosk but my record was not in the system. When I mentioned this to the receptionist, she abruptly told me to just wait. After 45 minutes, no one had moved from their line. I asked what's going on and was told that their computer was down. Instead of coming out and explaining this with an apology, she seemed irritated that I even raised this issue. Ms. Everett - I was told this is the manager's name - please be considerate of patients and take some steps to properly train your staff. A simple explanation with an apology can go a long way for most patients who are asked to wait for an extended period of time. The dark-haired woman whom I spoke with should not be in a patient-facing role without significant training on empathy, compassion, and simple customer service.

My son is…read moreneurodivergent and, for the last four years, he has not allowed anyone to come near him during medical visits without pushing them away. Today was the first time he let someone close and it was because of them. Dr. Miller and Nurse Honesty approached him with patience, love, and genuine care. They met him exactly where he was, honored his pace, and made him feel safe. They saw him, truly saw him and as a mom, I felt seen too. What could have been a stressful visit became one of the most positive experiences we've ever had in a medical setting. Their compassion and understanding made all the difference. I am deeply grateful for the way they cared for my child and for the way they cared for me in the process. If you're a parent of a neurodivergent child, this is the team you want. Absolutely incredible. Camille Teal

I took care of him the next day while my daughter went to work and it was obvious that this was much more than an allergy. My daughter left work and took him to his pediatrician who diagnosed him with a double ear infection, as well as fluid in one of his lungs. Started him on antibiotics and within 48 hours he was so much better! Shocked at the misdiagnosis poor grandson suffered an extra 24 hours needlessly.

And UNC Internal Medicine Clinic by the main hospital at Chapel Hill, has no address useful for GPS - as they haven't a clue about GIS and street signs - DUH! For DISABLED ELDERLY PEOPLE - who often are new to the area! They'd rather things "look like" the quaint village of the past - rather accommodate the needs of today - with the increased demand for services. DUH! People now want/need to avoid being killed in an auto accident - because of heavy traffic. And patients needn't even think about asking a security officer inside the parking deck how to find a clinic!! Duh! They don't know - and are too dumb to call anyone to ask - likely no reception inside the parking deck - no repeaters - and forget about assigning parking spaces based on known empty spaces - but you'd better not be late - because the staff will be made WITH YOU - because of their lack of planning - and the physician wants to work 2-3 days a week - and play golf, etc. No matter that you are dying sand had to wait for months for an appointment - and that THEY should have allowed more MD's to go to school for free - as some schools have agreed to do... DUH! Maybe they should go to NC State School of Engineering- DUH! Or ask NC School of Government to explain the US Constitution and how States are responsible for the welfare of the public! ESPECIALLy the elderly and Disabled - by ACTS of Congress and Federal and State Law! DUH! Is anyone awake at Schools of Management at UNC, Duke, and NCState, et al? Not the problem of Public Servants, eh? Too bad about the elderly, disabled and poor - (who need to go to work - or bed after working all night! And btw... Why are clinics - and other state building open longer hours - to give "we the (working/poor) more options? And why are there not enough patient Advocates and Social Workers available to assist patients - keep them from being abused by staff - and help when their loved ones die in these "insane asylums"? And forget about parking instruction inbedrd into you MY Chart appointment reminder - or an option on the robo call asking if you have questions about parking or public transportation needed...DUH! Why does our healthcare facilities hire the poorest - or not have a better training program? Never heard of Human Resource Management... Because "We The People" have put up with poor management by poorly trained often incompetent employees - from the top levels of government! Despite our freedom of Speech and right to dissent in the 1st Amendment of The US Constitution. I say, ENOUGH! Serve or find another job - or spend every day on the golf course.
