I was lucky to find Semei Lee on Google and am extremely satisfied with his reasonable rate, attitude, and professionalism. He charged me $100 for my upright in Vancouver. He said my piano sounded low but didn't lecture me about being a bad piano owner. Compared to other tuners, he doesn't loudly pound the piano while tuning. Semei tunes by ear, listening for harmonic beats. He used to work for Tom Lee tuning pianos, and he also tunes pianos for competitions and recordings. I can't wait for him to come next year after my piano stabilizes when he will adjust my piano for tone.
