This place it's like being somewhere else, it transports you to a relax state of mind, so beautiful with a tree inside! Food is really good here, prices similar to Pura Vida. The classic dish from here is the Açaí bowl, they have like 6 different options and they are so good and refreshing! Also, the empanadas here are sooo good and so worth it. They meatless empanada is juicy and delicious (im not a fan of raisins but it doesn't bother me removing them because the empanada is that good). Also, the mushroom empanadas here are so well seasoned and the dough texture is good to hold all that filling. read more

Having had acai bowls in LA, I didn't think the bowls were particularly great here, but it did the job for sure and was tasty for a reasonable price. I got the cacao acai bowl and really liked the cacao bits inside. The interior of the store is really cute, with lots of tropical themed furniture and plants. Employees were super nice and enthusiastic about giving recommendations too. read more

Very cool spot with lots of great options, all of which are super healthy. Only negative thing I have to say is that they're victims of their success and therefore there's not a lot of seated places. Their Açai bowls are very good. Would recommend it. The service is very good and pretty fast. There's bohemian style background music which makes you think you're in Tulum or something. read more

What goes better with the beach than an Acai bowl? Under the Mango Tree is the closest you're going to get to a decent Acai bowl near South Beach. It's right on 5th Street and pretty popular for people getting their coffee or breakfast on everyday of the week. I personally didn't have any issues with ordering and wait time, but I know other people did. My husband and I shared a classic acai bowl $12 (by the way there are no prices on the chalkboard lolol, only online menu has prices) and it was delicious! Fruit was fresh, acai didn't taste like it was made from one of those boxed ones at Costco. There is indoor and outdoor seating but it's cramped quarters and about 50% of people took theirs to go. Would recommend for a nice refreshing tropical snack, but pretty bougie yet hipster at the same time. read more

Large no, beautiful yes. It was just right to start our mornings in Miami Beach with a fresh pressed juice or smoothie. And Under The Mango Tree- was everything I wished for in a Vegan Juice/Smoothie Bar. I'm not Vegan- but at the rate I'm going with recently becoming dairy and egg-free, seems like I am. Mango Tree is a very nice 'Breakfast' spot on quaint Meridian & 5th and feet away from our hotel where hubs and I'd go after our runs. Our drinks were phenomenal both times and that 'Carrot Cake' tops it! Plus style rules here! There are Juice and smoothie Bars. And then there's Under The Mango Tree. Regardless of whether you follow a Vegan diet, you will no doubt enjoy something from here. I was going to be selfish and keep it to myself, but it's too good not to share. read more

If you like healthy food this is YOUR PLACE. Everything is house made and is delicious! We tried different açaí bowls and loved them! Also their Vanilla Cinnamon Latte is amazing! Donuts were also really good, freshly baked. In general anything there was tasty. I wish we could have one in SF! read more

Don't pass by Under the Mango Tree it's a very zen experience. Exactly how I like my mornings. I come here for a juice or a coffee. It's the place to go after yoga or instead of yoga;). This place isn't "South Beach". Those people who wear neon probably aren't Under the Mango Tree type people. read more

Wife and I visited Miami from NYC. The purpose of our trip was to escape the NYC winter. Well, we got what we asked for because the weather in Miami was ~70-80 and humid! We woke up in our Airbnb around 6:00am due to how hot we were already feeling. All we wanted was a fruit bowl so we found Under the Mango Tree. The cashier recommended the Super Cali Ali açaí bowl to share so that's what we ordered. Our initial bites were delicious! But after about halfway we realized that it wasn't really what we were looking for. We had amazing açaí bowls in Hawaii so we were trying to relive that moment. It felt like açaí in the Super Cali Ali was lacking in that açaí flavor but the other toppings were delicious. My favorite was the crunchies. 4/5 Yelp stars. We'll be back. read more

When I was craving an açaí bowl and came upon this gem I was not expecting to walk into the coolest spot ever . The açaí bowl was very good , tasted so fresh. I loved the ambiance here as well. With a whole pantry area to purchase from . Their outreach for sustainability is awesome as well. As I walked in and see a big tree in the center of the store I was fully amazed . WOW! I cannot stress how you absolutely NEED to stop by this place!! We stayed at a hotel nearby and found ourselves here every morning for breakfast for a variety of reasons. While the space itself is on the smaller side there are a few tables out on the sidewalk that you can enjoy, and the service and turn around on the tables inside is pretty quick so your wait won't be too long. We loved this place not only because literally everything was delicious - the almond toast is a MUST - but also because their story and goals resonated with us. This place is all about sustainability, green initiatives, healthy ingredients, and a positive vibe and aura to release out into the world. They have a dry goods pantry sort of area that you can buy from which is such a neat idea! This whole place has a wonderful, almost hippy, sort of vibe. Something the world could use more of. This spot was one of two five-star places we went to (alongside Las Olas Cafe) while staying in Miami. A highlight of our trip! Went on a soothing rainy day and played a board game at a table in this relaxing cafe while drinking the sensational turmeric latte with added espresso, the cinnamon vanilla latte, and the creamy classic açaí bowl with added peanut butter The turmeric latte is the star of the show - an absolute must get: creamy and gingery and comforting with a fairy dust of cinnamon. Some days a girl just wants to be a basic bitch eating an overpriced açaí bowl on the beach. Great açaí, not too icy. I don't think they add sweetener to the açaí base because it wasn't that sweet. The best place on Miami Beach for a healthy, tasty vegan meal. The food is fresh, homemade, natural, vegan, and most importantly delicious. The decor is perfect and cozy/rustic. The Owner, Patty puts her full heart in this place and you feel it through your order. My staples are the: Marley açaí bowl, Matcha froth, throat healer, vegan empanadas, and healthy donuts but literally everything is delicious. Good quality food if you're willing to wait. I mean, really wait. Ordered an iced vanilla cinnamon latte and almond butter toast and waited about 45 minutes for the toast to be ready. Then another few minutes for the latte. While the food was satisfying and fresh, it can especially be quite busy during the morning rush. Amazing healthy vegan/vegetarian menu on south beach! I remember when they first opened in their old hidden location to now stepping it up on 5th street!! Here is where I take all my friends for a healthy snack/lunch or smoothie whenever we are looking for a healthy alternative spot .. This place has always been the cutest picture spot with a mango tree inside and plants all around & cute photos/ magazines ! :) highly recommend this place as it's very hygienic and organized, the staff is always friendly, and food is very healthy so it's a win-win win! Inspired by nature, I decided to open a small but unique local shop in South Beach, my hometown. My original fascination for earthy style and natural living was personal but soon transformed to the Under the Mango Tree shop. Every product is handmade and most of them are made by locals from our neighborhood. By buying from locals we could all reduce our carbon footprint because it didn't have to travel far The shop is all made by reusable items, from chairs to shelves... We also serve fresh made - health conscious juices to spread the word on its healing power.

Meet the Business Owner: Patty P.

Born in Peru and raised in Miami, I decided to move to South Beach ten years ago. I have a need to be close to the ocean. I always had an urge to learn about ways to heal ourselves by natural ways and positive energy. So I decided to open this Natural Boutique blocks from my apartment to inspire people from my neighborhood. I am my number one customer, I love everything I carry, every single item has been hand picked to get in touch with nature; from handmade - by locals - jewelry to superfoods; like maca, quinoa, spirulina.. ($20 for the smoothie and $15 for the bowl plus tax) Absolutely insane prices. I did love the layout of this "cafe" they have merch, protein bars, and extra powder additives that you could purchase. I got the smallest size which was enough for me, even sharing wise I would recommend this or size up to the medium. The large was huge, my other party never actually finished there. I was able to take mine all the way to the beach and a great stroll to keep you hydrated and cool down. The owner was the one who made the drink and was really friendly and helpful. One ordered a grilled tofu dish, one ordered salmon, and I ordered fettuccine in creamy basil sauce. The tofu arrived burnt on the outside and soaking wet and way too soggy inside, so it was sent back with the promise that it would be replaced. Spoiler: it never came back. The salmon was also oddly wet, with a distinctly unpleasant look and taste. My fettuccine was somehow also waterlogged and over-soft, and clearly had been sitting in water for far too long. No al dente here. As for the basil sauce, there was absolutely no flavor. None at all in the noodles or in the sauce, just flavorless watery mush. I don't remember another food that had absolutely no flavor. I tried to get chili flakes or anything to rescue it, but couldn't get anyone's attention and eventually just stopped eating. We tried to make the best of it, but between the missing tofu, the mediocre-to-bad food, and inattentive service, we gave up. To top it off, a 20% tip was added automatically without asking. (Note: this is not a full-service restaurant - customers wait in line to order, find a seat, they bring the food and set it down, and that's it.) The bill for this experience was $93. I'm giving two stars only because I didn't see any critters crawling around--my personal threshold for one star.
