We discussed my small bathroom. I asked him what to do about storage in my tiny bath, he told me to "get an over-the-toilet cabinet". I tried to explain that they don't have space for a full size hair dryer, a can of lysol, etc. (I've had those cabinets before) I said, "You are a contractor, right?" He said, "Yes." Charlie, at that point said, "Look, I don't want to do this job." Then he left without another word. I was stunned. I cannot imagine a more unprofessional person than Charlie Mc Nabb. I would think that a contractor would have a few more creative ideas other than "putting a wall-shelf over the toilet". But, the way Charlie just said, "I'm not doing this, goodbye", was very very strange, and in my opinion, very unprofessional. I don't think he should be listed as a contractor. when Charlie himself told me, "I'm just a painter". (Yet he told me he was a contractor...) I wonder if I had told Charlie that my budget for painting my room and fixing some things in the bath, like a water filter to soften the water just on they shower heads (Charlie said he knew NOTHING about water filters on shower heads), was $11,000. Would Charlie have been a little more professional perhaps? I don't know. I dare say that he would remain ignorant of simple contracting logistics though. I would not recommend this person.

Sadly the wrong product was applied to a two year old rough cedar sided three level custom built A frame style home. I was very clear about the product I intended him to use and needed clarity on the time line and cost. Several swatches were made up of selected transparent stain. It took Ron seven or so weeks to complete the project- managing the location, pitch of roof coupled by various complexities of product relating to climate factors, finishing in October. Arborcoat- applied six years ago is still in excellent shape, the sun side of the home needs touch up otherwise the trim seems to be all that is flaking. The application of Arborcoat- has been a factor in the preservation of my stand alone structure through the Valley fire Sept. 2015. Labor: Estimates and options Handmade presented swatches (not off the corporate store wall) Expertise Scaffolding (three plus levels including cedar sided chimney) Experienced power wash Restored and recovered cedar of strike lines left from the first painter who was fired.
