The class times work with our schedule. My daughter (3 year old) started her jiu jitsu journey here and went from being scared and hesitant, to now looking forward to class. She's so fun and tries to take me down now too. On and off the mat she enjoys this sport and I'm thankful for that. My son has made friendships with kids in class. Professor Ronda avoids coddling in favor of teaching discipline and emotional maturity; our kids are learning to be strong, respectful, and resilient, all while having a blast and learning how to defend themselves. Professor Ronda weaves in fun during classes but given that this is a close-contact sport, she is also a firm, no-nonsense instructor to keep them safe and disciplined. We especially appreciate the heavy focus on cleanliness and sanitary practices, which is so important in a gym environment. Lady was talking bad about her morning class students, saying how they are dumb & never understand anything. (She's saying this to her night time students) One guy asked a pretty simple question & this lady looked at him as if he just slashed all of her tires. Who ever gave her the black belt needs to be investigated. Not understanding simple concepts of an art that you are a so called "expert" in is very embarrassing.
