Add $185 and $46 for labor and the total was $309. Okay, you've got biz expenses like insurance and all that, I get it. And you were here while I was in Dallas, so thanks for that. But when I arrived a week later on 9/6 and flushed it, it didn't turn off before the water level reached the overflow (which thankfully worked), so it ran and ran and ran. I called and asked for an adjustment. They said it worked when their guy left and the work had a warranty and they'd come fix it. I said Too late, I already fixed it (bent the float arm). So, to me, the only right answer in this kind of mistake is, "Wow, sorry to hear that, no idea how that could have happened, how can we make it right?" And I'd have suggested give my dad SOME amount of refund. I don't even much care how much, $10, $20, just make an effort, you know? But no. No adjustment. Empower your receptionist to offer SOMEthing. So, thumbs-up for a having a warranty, but thumbs-down for not fessing up to your mistake.
