UFA is one of the best martial arts training facilities in the South Bay for new or experienced people. All coaches are very outgoing and highly supportive for those looking to refine their skills through their various training methods. First timers here will feel right at home !

    We love Undisputed!

My middle daughter started with the summer camp with Coach Mishel and Coach Ed, and I was blown away by how hands-on it was. Unlike other camps, they blend STEM activities with martial arts and take the time to know every child on a personal level. Seeing her thrive there was the start of our journey here. My oldest daughter began with the women's kickboxing class and has since expanded into Jiu-Jitsu. Her athleticism and confidence have grown exponentially, and now both she and my middle daughter train jiu-jitsu multiple days a week. As for me, I've become a religious regular at the women's kickboxing class. Every woman should join this! Bo is one of my favorite instructors; he gave me the confidence to keep showing up. I learn something new every single time while constantly sharpening my current skills. I've since branched out into Thai pads, bag classes, intro to fighting, and Muay Thai. A few more shout-outs to the amazing team: * Coach Ed: His strength and conditioning classes are tough, but the results are undeniable. * Coach Riley: He is so patient and kind. I take his bag class and learn so much. He also teaches advanced kickboxing and Muay Thai. * Coach Marcus: He runs everything with such an inspiring focus on building your mindset and reaching your full potential. We never feel uncomfortable here...only stronger. I'm already looking forward to my youngest daughter joining us in the near future. The vibe and hospitality is top notch! I wish I actually lived in the area so I can come back! Moses and Gale were so great and all the other people working out were awesome as well. I can't recommend this place enough! Even the decorations of the lights and music just made it such a fun place to workout! Can't wait to come back!

Another random thing that I like about this studio is that we can keep our shoes on. Most places want you to take it off, which i'm not fond of. The lights and music makes it feel like it's a party. For each class, you start off with a warm-up, either jump rope or running laps, then other various exercises like burpees. Then you go on the bag for a bit, then partner up, do some drills, then finish with abs and stretching. It's always a challenging workout and it changes every time i come. It's funny because they offer a shot of tequila after class. I don't drink but i know it can be an incentive for people!

I came in with some boxing experience, and since training under him I've gotten stronger, way more confident in sparring, and more disciplined with my training and nutrition. I rarely miss a class because I genuinely look forward to showing up and seeing what I'm capable of. Coach Bryan is the real deal. He's a pro boxer, so the knowledge he brings to every session is the kind you just can't get everywhere. He gives individual feedback, he's encouraging, and he pushes you because he actually believes you can do hard things. The community is another big reason I keep coming back. Everyone is welcoming and rooting for each other, which makes showing up easy. If you're nervous about starting, don't be. This is a great place to be!

Whether you want to get fit, fight competitively or just learn something new, you can get all that here and more. It's a real boxing gym so you're training alongside pros and amateurs. The gym has great hours so if you're an early riser Coach Juan will greet you as early as 5am! And if I'm not mistaken they have classes into the evening as late as 7p. I've learned things from all of the great coaches here working with all of them over the years. Currently I'm working with Coach Bryan, a professional with an undefeated record! They have great kids classes too which my son has participated in and enjoyed! It's affordable, and they adjusted my membership to fit with my schedule. They have two rings, plenty of bags, and a freeweight area. Oh and also a large MMA room. I most enjoy the camaraderie, respect and equality amongst everyone there. Boxing is an international sport and that is evident here as I've met people from all over the world here. I've made new friends working out with and sharing the ring with. We have FUN! So come on down and learn the sweet science.

I own a large service, repair and install company across Los Angeles County, and I raced as a child…read moreand professionally through my teens and twenties. I LOVE COMPETITION and I know business. Losing is a phenomenal motivator to hone your skills. We were told about a "friendly" competition at my children's BJJ gym and traveled over an hour to Inspirit for my daughters 2nd and sons first comp. Inspirit is a very clean gym, and we had a pleasant experience throughout the morning and part of the afternoon. The large, enclosed back area felt safe, allowing my youngest to roam around unsupervised. What I think is absolute nonsense is that my daughter, who just earned her grey belt with a white stripe, was moved from a division of three other kids with the same belt to the division with the highest grey belt. They paired my daughter with the owner's daughter, who, in my opinion, is definitely not a grey belt. My daughter fought, tried, and lost, and THAT'S OK. We're PROUD of her and we know what she needs to work on. But what I'm not proud of is the gym lying about it being a friendly competition and then promoting a far less experienced practitioner so their child could win. That's pretty low. A lady next to me, whom I've never seen before, said, "That wasn't even a fair fight," and the coach from our gym later voiced the same opinion to our professor. Our friends voiced that same opinion. To add insult to injury, our gym professor doesn't enter his kids in these "friendly" tournaments due to ethical concerns. So, is this the kind of sportsmanship, ethics and self defense you want to learn or have your kids learn!?! if it is, you've found your gym. Who calls us from the gym to "check up" and then "thank us for our feedback?" - Some random employee who also tried to take responsibility for making the bracket, that's BAD business and I'd bet the family farm she didn't set the brackets - the owners do. At least I now know you're so ashamed of your decisions, you're unwilling to take responsibility for your actions and willing to throw a 7 year old and an adult under the bus. Here's your "feedback"

Whether you're a beginner, experienced hobbyist, or looking for high level competition training, Inspirit has a place for you. The academy is beautifully put together and extremely clean. Their professors are not only knowledgeable and caring, but they lead by example, pushing themselves in competition and displaying discipline daily. As a woman and someone who was not familiar with martial arts it took me a while to feel comfortable and everyone was extremely patient and encouraging. I have built amazing friendships and been able to push my limits in a safe and uplifting environment. Along with adult training I have been able to witness the kids program and how much they instill confidence and discipline at an early age, I have watched kids absolutely transform on and off the mats because of the lessons they learn in training. Inspirit is an amazing academy and a blessing to have in this community!
