This course , staff and management has really gone a step above. Mike Masters, is the General Manager and I also got to meet all the staff who keep this wonderful place running smooth. Debbie is the head of the staff, they are all great and the Chef (Larry) made us a beautiful grilled Salmon and Chicken for supper, with my favourite, Key Lime Pie. The grounds are beautiful here and the scenery breathtaking. The Clubhouse is decorated with deep rich wood, huge round tables a fully stocked bar and scenery overlooking the grounds. This golf course has Chalets that you can rent, they have three full size bed rooms, full kitchens and washrooms. They are beautifully decorated. I can only say, this is one of the nicest golf courses I have been on. A perfect place to hold a Tournament or a Corporate Retreat.

(for both of us) This course boasts to having the Hardest Par 3 in NS, hole 11 (I believe it now), as well as having a Par 5 607 yard 18th hole. That's huge! I loved this course, it is located inland Chester area, and the forest walk is fabulous. The grounds are perfect, PGA inspired perfection. Lots of water, lots of sand, lots of challenge. You want a course that will keep you begging for more, this is it. Beautiful trees, beautiful views, beautiful walk/cart drive. I will gladly play here more often. Mid-high green fees. Approx $55 I managed to get a second round in here later in the season, and loved it even more. Can't wait to get my third round in! (hopefully improve some more)

Wedding planners beware! This venue turned into an absolute nightmare for us. My mother was so…read moreexcited about this venue when she first discovered it for her wedding, however it quickly turned into a nightmare once the date drew near... The wedding was initially scheduled for Hurricane Dorian weekend (September 7th). On the Thursday just prior to this she called to discuss her options with the venue owner (Osbourne). He was very flexible and said it was no problem to change the date. She then confirmed September 28th with him verbally during that call which he said was not a problem and they were all set. On Wednesday, September 25th in the evening, 2 days before the wedding my Mom texted to confirm what time we could get in to decorate. She saw that they read the text but heard nothing, she texted them again two hours later voicing her concerns about not hearing back as they had always been responsive in the past. They texted a lengthy message shortly after that saying that she never confirmed the venue and that they had a golf tournament on that Saturday and the venue would not be available until at least 7pm (reception was set for 4pm). She tried to call them after reading this and going into panic mode only to have them not answer her calls. They said they were on a call and would call her back. 3 hours later Kate (Osbourne's wife) finally called her only to blame her again and say that Osbourne would never have confirmed that without looking at the computer etc etc. Both my Mom and Dad HEARD HIM CONFIRM but she completely denied it even though she was not involved in the conversation. At the end of a long circular conversation they finally agreed that it was not realistic for the wedding reception to happen and Kate advised that cancelling "wouldn't cost a thing" and she would get a full refund. To top it off when the refund came through it was for $500 and she had paid $575. When she pointed this out she received a nasty text back saying that he could have kept more but hadn't at that the $75 had been paid to the government and that was all he was paying... pretty sure CRA would disagree with that! To say this caused extra stress would be an understatement, realizing you have no reception venue with less then 72 hours to find a new one was a nightmare and caused excessive undue stress at a time when you should be savoring the moment. I will never set foot on that golf course again.

Fabulous food! The mussels were spectacular. The mussel meat was a tad on the small side but the flavorful broth more than made up for it. More bread would have made that broth disappear. Absolutely delicious. The classic pizza had the thinnest crust we have ever seen. Fabulous. Sauce tasted a bit sweet at first but it was incredible. Looked like there was not much pepperoni at first. It was hiding. This was one of the best pizzas we have ever had.

Had a pretty bad experience with the management when I came with my girlfriend and another couple. Both girls were new to golf, and were going to share a set of clubs. We rented carts and were about to start when we were turned away and told we had to rent clubs as sharing was not allowed. The excuse given was that it would slow up the round because we would be running back and forth between bags. In my opinion, that didn't make any sense, especially because we had carts. When you golf, you go to the closest ball first, let the person hit, then onto the next closest ball. It would have been no slower if we were sharing or not sharing. It seemed ridiculous and an absolute cash grab. All the staff seemed dumbfounded that we would be upset too, very weird reaction
