If there was one…read morething I was absolutely certain of, it was that I didn't want us to skimp on our wedding photography, because you are paying for your memories that you'll look back on the rest of your life. Once we reserved the Florida Aquarium as our venue, our attention immediately turned to finding the right photographers. We started with the aquarium's preferred vendor list, because the lighting in there is so challenging. The ceremony is in front of a giant coral reef tank, and I didn't want to see a camera flash bouncing back in every photo (once you see it, I feel like that's ALL you can see!). So when I looked at all of the weddings Limelight had done in the aquarium, none of their photos had that problem. I found myself immediately drawn to Limelight's gorgeous photos. Every picture I saw was stunning and vibrant, and made every couple of theirs look like they belonged in a magazine. I just knew I had to have them for our wedding as well. Rebecca and Michael Zoumberos were our photographers, and they were wonderful! We were originally booked with a different lead photographer, but when it turned out that she was getting married around the same time as our wedding, Limelight upgraded us at no charge to having Rebecca and Michael be our photographers instead! I loved how detailed oriented and thorough they are. We spoke over the phone with Rebecca several times to go over our timeline and shot lists, and we had to fill out a lengthy questionnaire as well. It took time, but it was absolutely worth it in the long run because they made sure we got every single photo we wanted. Rebecca is an absolute pro at creating a wedding day timeline! The turnaround time to get our photos was three weeks, just as they had said it would be. They turned out just stunning, and I'm so glad we'll have these beautiful photos to treasure for the rest of our lives.

Even with living in Europe with a six-hour time difference, we had no issues staying in touch with our lead photographer Dafne Spencer. Dafne was flexible and great with communicating with us overseas and she was also more than happy to meet in person when we were in Florida before the wedding. Dafne was really good at emailing us timelines and shot lists as well as giving me feedback on my own shot list that I made for our bridal party and family photos. She really helped us prepare for our photos and by our wedding day, I had complete confidence that the photos would go well. I completely trusted Dafne to guide us on our wedding day and she did an excellent job. I have a background in photography and I really knew how I wanted my wedding photos to look. Limelight Photography superseded my expectations. Dafne really listened to our needs and concerns for our photos and we are completely IN LOVE with them. I am usually the person behind the camera so I feel very self-conscious when I am in front of it. I often don't like how I look in photos but when I saw the photos from our wedding, I almost cried. Not only did I feel beautiful on our wedding day, but the photographers were able to capture that beauty and I love how I look in our wedding photos. One of my favorite moments was the first look. Seeing the photos of my husband's reaction is priceless! It was such a real and genuine moment and the photos truly captured that. I also love the photos from during our ceremony and from the bride and groom session right after the ceremony. We had our wedding at The Florida Aquarium and we were able to get some really incredible photos in front of some of the fish tanks. I love that we have both fun and creative photos as well as romantic photos. It was a great mix. We were also able to get a lot of group photos that we wanted. Since Zeke and I live in Europe, our wedding was a time for us to see American family and friends that we hadn't seen in a while. We are so happy with the group photos that we got and so are our guests! Another thing that I was impressed with was how well the photographers were with the kids in our wedding. We had three of our nieces as flower girls and two of our nephews as ring bearers for our wedding. The kids' ages ranged from four to six. One of our nephews is five years old and came in from Sweden and doesn't speak English. This didn't seem to faze our photographers! They were wonderful with all of the kids and even with one of them not speaking English, they were able to direct them all very well. Lastly, we received our wedding gallery in less than three weeks after our wedding. We were so happy and were very impressed to receive almost 800 beautifully edited photos in such a short timeframe. Several of our guests have told us how beautiful our photos are and everyone was very excited to see them. Dafne Spencer and her associate photographer Kara Lerchenfeld were absolutely wonderful to work with. We feel so fortunate that we got to work with both of them and we are beyond thrilled with our wedding photos. We are also forever grateful for Dafne's guidance and help through our year of wedding planning. We would absolutely recommend Limelight Photography!

She was on time and prepared. Annie said several times that she was willing to take any individual and group shots we wanted. She would also pause to fix hair (important on a windy beach!), adjust clothing and make suggestions for poses. Our granddaughter is 1 year old and she was patient and broke up the shots she was in, so she didn't get cranky. We got our pictures back this week and they are stunning! Due to the fact that I have mobility issues, four of my family members took time from work and traveled thousands of miles so we could capture five generation photos. I hired Black Pineapple Photography to capture the photos. We were to receive our digital photos approximately two to three weeks after the shoot. What I received two weeks later was an email from Liz, proprietor of Black Pineapple Photography. The email stated that my money had been refunded and the photos from our family shoot were permanently lost. WHAT? LOST? An email, not even the courtesy of a phone call or any explanation as to what had occurred. You can imagine the disappointment my family members and I experienced. Two days after the receipt of the email and after my granddaughter called Liz and complained I received a phone call with an explanation. Apparently the photographer, who took the pictures, did not change the SIM card following our shoot and shot another event over our session. Beware, as that photographer still is used by this company. There is no way to recover the photos. This error, the lost employment time, air fare, lodging and car rental expenses were great. Because I called her out she lowered price to $406.04 but then proceeded to raise the price on the others. She quoted 75.00 each but when invoiced I was charged 84.00 Each. Again you can buy these yourself online at Bay Photo for 22.00 each. But Maria will not release your pictures to you! It's insane! I have found out since then that there are many amazing photographers in Clearwater Florida who do photos at Honeymoon Island and their price of $375.00-450.00 INCLUDES ALL YOUR HIGH RESOLUTION IMAGES!!!!! This was a VERY Disappointing experience Not only the 300% mark up Maria Scott Photography charges to print only 4 photos.
