Booked her immediately -- no regrets. She's based in Florida but traveled to New York with no extra cost, which honestly still impresses me. On the wedding day, she was calm, professional, and knew exactly how to keep things moving without making anything feel forced (which is a skill in itself). We got sneak peek photos almost immediately -- and our full gallery came back within a very reasonable timeframe. No chasing, no wondering, just results. But what really stood out? She captured EVERYTHING -- not just the posed moments, but the joy, the laughter, the real energy of the day. And yes... she made us look GOOD. Like everybody was in their sexy era without even trying. Even my husband was impressed with how personable she was and how comfortable she made everyone feel -- and he does not impress easily. Five years later, I'm still obsessed with my photos. If you're thinking about booking her -- just do it.

I get wild notions in my head sometimes and although for the most part I am a planner at my core, I am also helplessly impulsive. I want what I want when I want it and nothing can hold me back when I've made my mind up on something. I seriously had no intention of any vacations for the remainder of the year. I made an announcement to our family early in the year that family time will be limited to nearby weekend getaways. Tampa was not in the cards until one day I was watching a Hallmark movie with my wife and got the notion stuck in my head that I would like a family photo with my mother and sisters. After all, we hadn't had a professional picture done since we were kids. So I called them, and suddenly the entire family was excited with the prospect of a beach photo shoot, including my grumpy but lovable brother-in-law who only likes to visit two places: His sofa and the golf range. I decided a family vacation was in order sooner than later since mom is getting up in age and Thanksgiving week gave us the best opportunity. Enter Ashley Izquierdo Photography. [ THE EXPERIENCE ] After trying to schedule a session with another photographer, but never receiving a call back, I discovered your page on yelp and liked what I saw. I was surprised that you didn't realize you had any reviews on yelp, but at the time all three reviews were 5 stars. Never having worked with a professional before, I was surprised by a few requirements, such as paying in full for my session up front and the minimum guarantee of 45 good photos, but you worked with me to ease my mind and I appreciated you efforts. So many bad stories of prepaying a business for services that are never rendered was a stressful thought for me. I also REALLY, REALLY appreciated how you were lightening fast in responding to my texts as we kept in touch for nearly a month prior to our session. Many times I could see you were typing just seconds after I sent a message. That comforted my anxiety about paying upfront without knowing you (more than you can imagine). Also I appreciate your being on time for our session and the extra effort you made in taking specific photos I requested. While you said our session would be available in your gallery in about 2 to 3 weeks, I was delighted they were ready in just a matter of days. I know I called worried because I had trouble opening the files on my moms archaic computer... but once I was back home in Atlanta, viewing them was a snap. [ FINAL THOUGHTS ] My entire family (including those whom saw the pictures but were not there for the session) LOVED your work! At first I thought $350 was pricey since I am good with a camera and could have done the session myself with a tripod, but it was money well spent and I'm so happy to have made your acquaintance. My only suggestion is don't take things to heart so easily. Some people (such as myself) calling to hire you don't know protocol or procedure when it comes to professional photography. Therefore, sometimes a question is just a question... not an attack that you must defend. I truly wish you much success in your future! You are very good at what you do and deserve all the business Yelp can send your way. While we were just a simple 1 hour photo session, your wedding & engagement pics in your online gallery are STUNNING, and your reviews on sites like The Knot & Wedding Wire speak volumes about your talent and professionalism. We also have not received our USB of the wedding photos as promised in our contract despite multiple follow-up emails. Unfortunately, we would not recommend Aiza as a wedding photographer. My friend, Grace, used her and highly recommended her. I reached out and within a couple days we scheduled a session for my son's one year photos. Unfortunately, he was sick the day of his photos so we were able to reschedule for the week after. I really like how she has a list of places that she would recommend and pictures she has taken at each location. That's how we ended up at USF Marshall Center which wasn't on my radar at all for pictures. She sends information about parking, etc. ahead of time so I felt very prepared for the day. Her pricing is extremely reasonable. Photos can be expensive, we've done photos for every major milestone so I've seen prices that are all over the place. Kimberly has an array of pricing options that fit many different price points. Our session was 20 minutes, which is perfect for young children. I really appreciate that she has the couple take photos alone as well. When you have children, it's easy to lose yourself as part of a family. I really treasure the photos of just myself and my husband. The gallery was ready for view within a couple days and after we picked our favorites her turnaround time was extremely speedy as well. I love the end results. We will be blowing them up and framing them. These pictures bring me so much happiness. Five stars all around.

Because I am in the tourism and travel industry and since airports are some of my favorite places, I asked Brooke if we could do my session at Tampa International Airport. She happily obliged my request. She took many photos and suggested some creative ideas. She made me feel very comfortable striking poses. Brooke's artistic eye is great. I especially like the movement blur that she is able to do. It was convenient to review the images online too. I am very pleased with the photos because they capture the perfect mix of my professional qualities and personal spirit!

BEWARE Brooke will cancel on you at the last minute!!!…read more Contacted Brooke for a beach wedding shoot to take place on July 3rd. Brooke provided information and pricing. She requested names and said she'd draw up a contract and send to me via email. A few days passed and I followed up again as I hadn't heard back or received the contract. She said she was sick and would get the contract to me. She reassured me not to worry because she had my date on the calendar. 2 additional days passed and I sent Brooke a text letting her know we moved up the wedding an hour and she confirmed it wasn't an issue. During this time I'm following Brooke's work on social media excited for her to shoot my daughter's wedding. 2 weeks went by and still no contract and now it's the day before the wedding. I sent Brooke a text letting her know I was looking forward to meeting her. At that time she replied saying she had covid and could not shoot the wedding. We are not locals, we flew in from Texas and were now left without photographer 24 hours before the wedding. Going back to social media I'm able to see Brooke has definitely been out and about without issue...I come across her personal FB page to see she flew out to Wisconsin the day of my daughters wedding.....left me speechless.
