When concerns were raised, I was told, "it is not my fault you did not read the contract," rather than receiving any effort to clarify or resolve the situation. This response felt dismissive and unprofessional, especially given the long-standing relationship and trust that had been established. The situation escalated further when both Mark and his broker Shawn Jenke became involved. As a result of the issues surrounding the contract and how the transaction was handled, I ultimately had to pay an additional $3,000 to the buyer of the home in order to resolve the matter. Due to this experience, I can no longer recommend Mark to friends or family. I believe it is important for others to be aware of my experience when considering working with him. We…read morehardly met face to face with anyone throughout the process...they took the dirt from digging the foundation and sold it to someone else...leaving us with nothing to grade with, forcing us to have to bring in 12 dump truck loads of dirt (not cheap), and the finishing work ran into some hiccups as well. The framing was not straight in our bonus room, and after bringing it to their attention may times...they did nothing about it...then the Sheetrock and finishing guys proceeded to throw up the drywall and baseboards. Still, nothing was done about the warped studs and nothing was flush. The wall looked like an elephant was leaning against it on the other side and it was caving in. I could stick my finger in between the drywall and the base board. It was pretty bad. Once we finally got over that hurdle, they tried to close the house on us prematurely. The finish work was maybe 90% done at the time? That was very disappointing to us. I wish the experience was a bit smoother. Do we love our house? You bet we do. There were just a few things that we wish had gone smoother, more responsibility from them, and more face to face time from Country West. If they improved their customer service experience a bit, i think they'll have it.

We checked with other builders before and felt we were not getting as much bang for our buck as we expected. Country West allowed us to work directly with the Architect on the plans to make some changes to make this home ours and not just a cookie cutter plan. We worked with the sub contractors directly which gave us a tremendous amount of flexibility in how the finish product came out. All of the sub contractors were very professional and when my wife had to meet with them on her own they showed her a lot of respect. All of the subcontractors were what I would consider smaller home grown subcontractors. We liked this because they seemed to take a lot of pride in their work and it showed in the finished product. Flexibility was paramount with this builder. Many builders meet with you and then you can't make changes down the road. I know this probably drives these guys crazy at times but they never show it. We were given a contact for the financing early on in the process which proved to be a huge benefit. Our closing went smooth because of their thoroughness through the whole process. Like anything it was not all smooth sailing and we ran into a few snags but how the builder responded makes all the difference. Because we had built a home before we knew that the process is very involved and there were bound to be a few glitches. They were quick to respond and make the corrections quickly. Hopefully we never have build again, only because we really like where we are at now, but if we do we will definitely give Country West a call on our next home.

We only heard back from him 2 days after our offer had expired. Unprofessional. Didn't take control as an agent. We wanted to peacefully part ways to work with another agent and he told us to wait until our exclusive agreement with him expired. So we can't look or place offers on any homes until then! We tired to contact the broker who is Terry and he said he couldn't do anything about it even though the agreement is between myself and the broker. We offered Blake a 20% referral fee he wanted 35%. For doing nothing!? I'm sure there are other agents in northern realty that are better than Blake..

I am not local to the area anymore, so a good property manager is a must. The rental business is not easy, but Lady Bug has the professionalism and expertise to make the most of it. They have been there at 2am to take care of busted pipes, helped me remodel my property, and managed difficult tenants to make sure payments were made and the house was cared for. My manager, Leigh, responds quickly and takes the time to follow up. Jody, who handles maintenance and renovations, does excellent work at a fair price. I only have one modest rental, but Deone meets with me personally when I come into town. She also doesn't hesitate to help when I have a unique need due to my distance. I definitely recommend Lady Bug to anyone in the market for a property manager.

You need to stay away from this place…read more At the tour, they will make sure that this place *feels* like home, but that only goes surface level. They will do their best to make sure you know that this is not your home. You are there solely so they can take as much of your money as they can. Altair uses extremely predatory practices. Expect hidden fees. Expect rules to change on a whim. The lease agreement is chock-full of questionable at BEST clauses and provisions. Don't pay the non-refundable fee to see the lease. They will take as much money as they can from you, and the carefully worded, predatory lease agreement will enable them to do so without any repercussion "as per the lease agreement". You'll come to realize that the difference between a reasonable clause in the lease and a predatory one is often one word or sentence slapped on at the end of a long definition, or at the end of a section. Stay away. In our lovely modern era, the only consumer "protection" we as normal people seem to have is to warn others in reviews like this one, hoping those who come later don't get as screwed over as us. We have had nothing but grief at this place. Save your money, save your sanity. Just so you know before you waste your time; pet fees are ~100$ a month per pet, trash and other "shared" utilities come out to about 70$ a month- it fluctuates. The non-optional "internet package" is $150 a month. You cannot store anything on your balcony PERIOD. They do not give you alternative storage solutions either unless you want to buy a 100$ a month garage with a typically long waiting list. In the lease agreement, they can enter your home for any reason at any time, with or without your consent or knowledge before or after the fact. They will take as much of your security deposit as possible "as per the lease agreement", even if you do everything to the best of your ability.
