When concerns were raised, I was told, "it is not my fault you did not read the contract," rather than receiving any effort to clarify or resolve the situation. This response felt dismissive and unprofessional, especially given the long-standing relationship and trust that had been established. The situation escalated further when both Mark and his broker Shawn Jenke became involved. As a result of the issues surrounding the contract and how the transaction was handled, I ultimately had to pay an additional $3,000 to the buyer of the home in order to resolve the matter. Due to this experience, I can no longer recommend Mark to friends or family. I believe it is important for others to be aware of my experience when considering working with him. We wanted to peacefully part ways to work with another agent and he told us to wait until our exclusive agreement with him expired. So we can't look or place offers on any homes until then! We tired to contact the broker who is Terry and he said he couldn't do anything about it even though the agreement is between myself and the broker. We offered Blake a 20% referral fee he wanted 35%. For doing nothing!? I'm sure there are other agents in northern realty that are better than Blake..

We…read morehardly met face to face with anyone throughout the process...they took the dirt from digging the foundation and sold it to someone else...leaving us with nothing to grade with, forcing us to have to bring in 12 dump truck loads of dirt (not cheap), and the finishing work ran into some hiccups as well. The framing was not straight in our bonus room, and after bringing it to their attention may times...they did nothing about it...then the Sheetrock and finishing guys proceeded to throw up the drywall and baseboards. Still, nothing was done about the warped studs and nothing was flush. The wall looked like an elephant was leaning against it on the other side and it was caving in. I could stick my finger in between the drywall and the base board. It was pretty bad. Once we finally got over that hurdle, they tried to close the house on us prematurely. The finish work was maybe 90% done at the time? That was very disappointing to us. I wish the experience was a bit smoother. Do we love our house? You bet we do. There were just a few things that we wish had gone smoother, more responsibility from them, and more face to face time from Country West. If they improved their customer service experience a bit, i think they'll have it.

We checked with other builders before and felt we were not getting as much bang for our buck as we expected. Country West allowed us to work directly with the Architect on the plans to make some changes to make this home ours and not just a cookie cutter plan. We worked with the sub contractors directly which gave us a tremendous amount of flexibility in how the finish product came out. All of the sub contractors were very professional and when my wife had to meet with them on her own they showed her a lot of respect. All of the subcontractors were what I would consider smaller home grown subcontractors. We liked this because they seemed to take a lot of pride in their work and it showed in the finished product. Flexibility was paramount with this builder. Many builders meet with you and then you can't make changes down the road. I know this probably drives these guys crazy at times but they never show it. We were given a contact for the financing early on in the process which proved to be a huge benefit. Our closing went smooth because of their thoroughness through the whole process. Like anything it was not all smooth sailing and we ran into a few snags but how the builder responded makes all the difference. Because we had built a home before we knew that the process is very involved and there were bound to be a few glitches. They were quick to respond and make the corrections quickly. Hopefully we never have build again, only because we really like where we are at now, but if we do we will definitely give Country West a call on our next home.

My Husband and I lived here for four years starting in January…read more2018 in building I the management was awesome attentive and helpful, any issue that came up was dealt with swiftly. in 2019 we moved to the other side of the complex into building J. It was nothing short of a F****** disaster from the get go, we moved in and found cat litter in bedded into the carpets the carpets were not cleaned like they claimed they did every time somebody moved out. Our cable never worked we paid for multiple things we never utilized we went without washers and dryers for weeks on end they'd come fix it and it wouldn't be fixed and wed have to wait more weeks and constantly pester for help, which resulted in nothing but disrespect and aggression from their maintenance clown. Our AC broke in August and it took two weeks to fix the issue and the cooler they used let off more heat than cold air so they moved it to the back door while we were at work and left our back door open all day with nobody home. Another instance our toilet in the main bathroom would constantly leak and we said multiple times how it needed to be replaced and the guys argued with us over and over again until one morning we woke up walking on water literally, our whole downstairs was flooded with toilet water, we called the emergency number and got no response (not surprised) so had to clean up and run out for supplies. when i called in the morning i was told they would get there when they could so I waited all day in a apartment that smelt like mildew, for them to say no one could come out until the following afternoon to clean and sanitize the place so they pulled the carpet up a little and put fans there which just made the smell worse. the next day i went to work and came home the bathroom had flooded again and they had used decorative brand new towels and my clothes from the laundry room which were in the washer!!!!! The point is unless you want to be treated with contempt never be be heard pay out the ass don't go here!!! save yourself the hassle and time. a month before moving out our 3 month old puppy was attacked while my husband held her by an aggressive Pitbull the complex couldn't care less. then six months after leaving they claim we never paid a security deposit and they cant find it when i have the paperwork.
