Wonderful place if you're sick - sounds daft but it's true. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable, the nurses friendly and sweet, the rooms gorgeous and the doctors are fabulous. read more

No one introduced themselves, no one explained the tests or the results. I was treated as if I knew nothing , as if I was just a number. I have today October 25 2023 discussed my experience with the Chef. Prof Frisoni via Zoom. He seemed to be dismissive and not willing to address the suggestions I made to try and improve patient experience. Based on that, I cannot recommend this place.

The neurology team are amazing and are taking great care to find the causes and the hospital is immaculate. The only comment i have is there is not sufficient hand sanitation prior to entry to the ward for guests and no visible security. Beautiful garden for patients to sit in the evening with or without visitors

I have never had a more thorough exam in my life. I saw equipment I've never seen before and photos of my eye like I've never seen. Dr. Franceschetti was hands down, the best doctor I've been to for my eyes. He found something wrong and sent me directly to a specialist...noting that he was not happy with the timing of the appointment I made for myself so he got me in the same day to the specialist. He explains everything to you ...the problem..the cure..the care..what if, etc. He has some Saturday hours and super early weekly hours as well which is great for people who work. Easy to get to by car or public transportation as well.

He found the perfect contacts for me which were even better than the ones that I had been previously given by my normal doctor. He also made sure I knew how to care for my eyes and told me how I can improve my vision with contacts more exactly matching my prescription once I got back to the U.S. I'd highly recommend him. They are close to the tram stop and in front of the Hospital (l'hopital de la Tour) and also have parking space. I see her as my general doctor, but she also specializes in endocrinology, so I was able to see one doctor for both things. She is an English speaking doctor, and the receptionist in person speaks English. I have tried calling to make appointments, and as I am learning French that has become easier, but on the phone they only took appointments in French. I have found this is common for the receptionists even in clinics that have English speaking doctors. The staff is all very friendly, and the clinic is clean. I recommend Dr. Rags to any of my friends in the Geneva area. She used to practice in the US before moving to Switzerland for family.

Finally, after several different people provided me with strong recommendations for this doctor, I made an appointment. The first bonus is that most of the office staff speaks some English, even on the phone. I think this was the first doctor appointment in Switzerland that I was able to make an appointment half in French and half in English. The office is located near the Geneva train station and is in a really cool space. It is not directly located on the street. You go through a door on the main street, and then walk through a courtyard with a fountain, and then into another building and on the first floor to the left is the entrance to the office. After waiting for a few minutes, the doctor came and greeted me with a smile and led me back to the office. The space is very clean and bright. He was knowledgeable, listened very well to my concerns and past medical history, and very clearly was able to explain everything to me. You are provided a place to change and a given a robe. Overall as far as these type of visits go everything was as expected. It is great to have finally found an English speaking doctor that I can trust.

As my insurance doesn't cover fully until a year after my initial exam, I have been waiting to go back to him for additional services. I was quite surprised when I walked into his office. The equipment was the newest dental equipment I have seen, even compared to the dentist offices I have seen in the US. There is also a nice view from the large glass windows. Once again, the challenge here is that the office staff doesn't speak English, but they do in person. So for booking appointments, if you aren't comfortable doing so in French, I walk by the office at lunch time, and make my appointments. Dr. Sabev was very friendly, informative, and I look forward to my next visit.
