I have seen 2 doctors within this group - both I have had to have surgery. The doctors are phenomenal (Dr. Labib & Dr. MacKessey) but the office staff in Linden is the absolute worst. There is an apparent disconnect between the doctors and patient expectations with the staff. I would suggest the doctors; but go to a different office. The experience I had with the Union office was the best ever. The experience I had with the Linden office was the worst. The office staff is not honest; nor do they care (except for the surgical coordinators - they are great). Horrible place. The worst clinic around. Better find another place and another doctor for the treatment. Absolutely disorganized. Nurses are very rude and non-professional. Doctor prescribed me MRI in another place. I did MRI and called Orthopedic group 2(!) times to confirm that they got the MRI result. So the doctor is prepared for my upcoming visit. They confirmed 2 times that they received MRI and I am good to come. When I came, very rude nurse asked me: "where is your MRI? Why didn't you bring it today?" I responded, that they should have the MRI yet since they confirmed it twice over the phone. Rude nurse insisted on her side. I assume they lost MRI and they don't know what is going on in their clinic. Terrible. I will try to find another doctor. Then Dr Irene Labib came. She completely forgot to read my medical history before the appointment. Moreover, at the previous appointment I told her the nature of my accident and asked the same questions again like if she sees me for the first time. Finally the appointment was useless. read more

I want you to know I don't really write reviews but I went to see Dr Gold about my spinal synopsis I was in extreme pain I told her this has been going on for 2 weeks She came in and the first thing she said pull up your mask it kept falling down while I talked I am vaccinated I wanted my wife and daughter to come in to hear what the dr had to say. As I was in agony the Dr was cold and uncaring all she could tell me is what I already knew and that I had spinal synopsis and I had to go for 6 weeks of therapy That means that while I am in pain I have to twist and turn for an hour. I am 74 years old can't walk and that's it and double up on my gabapentin Dr Gold should think about the patient and what he is going through I actually walked out of there crying thinking there was no help!! Talk about efficient! I didn't go to the emergency room, I didn't have a referral, I just had excruciating pain to my wrist and my personal history and complaints. I called to make an appointment and was given one in a reasonable amount of time. My appointment was at 0900, I filled out the intake forms and was in to see the Doctor by 0920, Dr. Mackessy was in to see me by 0930. The doctor was friendly, he listened, right on point with the assessment and diagnosis. It took less than five minutes for Dr. Mackeesy to know what was wrong with me and what caused it. I got X-rays right away and a cortisone shot with splints and adequate follow up. What I liked the most is that I was given a prognosis for my disease and a plan of action in case the treatment didn't work. There was no question left unanswered and I was discharged by 1000. Here I am three days later and I have zero pain. I feel Dr. Mackeesy is very experienced and has great bedside manner. It was my first time visiting the office in linden office was clean and so were the rooms. I thought the staff were very friendly and nice. Dr Roger was my doctor and I couldn't be happier I love when a doctor takes time to listen and show concerns. Every question I had was answered and I felt satisfied when I left the office. My mom saw Dr Roger(pronounced ROE JJJAIR' think French Canadian) PRO---Dr Roger is very thorough, good beside manner, not pushy but suggestive & we like that he has a small recorder so he can go back to review what he said because I'm sure no one can remember every word they said to dozens/hundreds of patients.(Her cardiologist does it also Dr Doskow in Union highly recommended) CON---1st visit wait was over 45 mins then another 15 in the office for the consultation, then she had to sit in the hallway about another 1/2 hour to wait to get X-rays then back to the office for another 15-20 mins to discuss options so a total of 2 hours. CON---the reason for the 1st CON is they overbook & while the waiting room is large(about 40 chairs) the problem is many people came in crutches, wheelchairs, walkers, etc so in reality there were only about 25 available seats & on at least 1 of the visits we couldn't sit next to each other--it feels like a zoo. CON---the reviewer who said ample parking must have gone very early or very late because the lot maybe can maybe hold 30 cars & when you have a 3-4 floor bldg. in which each floor has practitioners parking wont be in abundance & 2 of the times we went was after a snow & while they were doing some construction so I had to park on the side street & in the diner parking lot. CON---to get in you either enter thru the front(though the type of luck you would need to find a spot in front would equal that of a lottery winner) so in the back there is a long ramp then down a hall to an elevator(signage not the best) then about another 30-40 feet to the office(not the most comfortable way for people with leg/foot issues) So 5 stars for the doctor & 1 star for everything else = 3 stars After we moved we found out Dr Roger has another office in our town & though it & the lot are much smaller he's only 1 of 2 practicing in that office + down the hall is a rehab center so quite convenient read more

Took my mother in today , she's been having very horrible back/shoulder pain the doctor ( Dr Naomi) was extremely rude wasn't even concern never asked about the pain . She really ( the doctor ) made us feel very uncomfortable . I really wish this type of behavior could be reported . I never really write reviews but it was unacceptable. My mom had foot surgery yesterday and they sent her home from the hospital without crutches or a walker. I believe doctors in this practice could let the patients in advance what kind of equipment they would need in order to have their basic necessities covered after surgery. Ex: being able to go to the bathroom. Well, they didn't tell my mother anything. It's being over a day since I'm trying to call the office to get a diagnostic code for the insurance to cover the medical equipment and still I do not get an answer. Linden office is incredibly poorly run. Staff is nice enough, but I had a 10 a.m. appt and was not called until I was on my way out at 10:55 (I could have stayed until 11:20, but I know I would've sat in an empty room for at least 10 minutes before a doctor came in, leaving next to no time to diagnose me). And just so you know it's not just me: there was a woman who had a 9:30 appt who was called in around 10:50, and a woman with a 10:00 appt who was called in around 10:40. I also heard a staff member apologize to a man for something, to which he replied: "I'm never coming here again." Based on Ju's review, maybe I was lucky not to actually be seen! read more

The have THE rudest, inept, lying staff in the receptionist area! What could have been done with simple phone calls, was not. They keep havinig you come back - Wait for hours - Only to spend 5 minutes with the Dr who then directs you to have someone make a phone call to get things done! Be prepared to wait literally hours for your appt and have people who just signed in ahead of you for the same Dr, but at a later time - get in to see the Dr before you! The only saving grace about this place is that you can get surgery done within the same week. read more

Dr. Sutain has been treating me for over a year for my back issues. He is not only personable but is also a great doctor. The staff are also awesome, I've seen them be verbally abused by other patients on more than one occasion and they are amazing at keeping their professionalism. Really not a fan of this place. after having ongoing knee pain, i decided to visit my primary Dr to see why i was having knee pain, he suggested an MRI and gave me a prescription for it. After getting MRI done i was told to follow up with an orthopedic to read results, the MRI results said i had a small cyst on my ACL. I went to this place to get help and see what could be done, i chose this place bc it was close to home and having no experience with any orthopedics before i decided to make my appt and go. i waited for almost two hours even though i had set appt a week prior, I'm pretty sure they overbook Drs. I met with a Dr, (can't remember name) he was old and took calls while examining me which i thought was rude, as a paying patient i felt i deserved full attention. Dr didn't know how to use computer system on the touch screen TV to read my MRI and had to call for help from secretary. He basically told me to deal with pain and change my exercise routines to see if pain would go away, if pain didn't go away he asked me to come back so i could get a physical therapy prescription. Once pain came back i called for a follow up appt but they wanted me to pay another co-pay i decided not to go back because i didn't want to pay this. after already paying 40$ for him to tell me to deal with pain and come back and only needing a prescription i didn't think it was fair for me to have to pay another 40$ for him to tell me what i already knew. read more

Avoid this charlatan organization. They will charge you an obscene amount of money for products that you can get from a local medical supply store at a fraction of the cost. This is how they increase their revenue. Doctor Richard Mackessy who treated me refused to return my phone calls when I had a problem. His office staff dispensed splints to me in the wrong size. I even sent a letter requesting his urgent help but he did not have the professionalism to reply back. Once they take your check or credit card, that's the last you hear from them. They are not health care providers with integrity. This office is simply a mercenary money pit.... Two minutes with the doctor..... Then they sell you overpriced supplies.... I would give this place zero stars if I could. I made an appointment for my elbow and had to wait close to an hour to be seen. Fine, docs offices are slow. When I finally went in, the doc gave a cursory look at my elbow, suggested that I get an MRI and told me to leave without settling up. Weird - who doesnt charge for a consultation? Next I call an MRI place which tells me I need a doctors order for an MRI. When I call back into Union County I first was stuck in automated messaging hell before speaking to one of the nastiest human beings I have had to deal with. She berated me in a loud and aggressive manner for even asking to relay a message on to the doctor I saw and basically said she wasnt going to waste her time and help. Any office particularly one in the medical profession that handles patients like this really should not get any business. Stay away! read more

I met Kathy who is the supervisor at the Linden office. she seemed new as I never met her before. She was personable, polite and with a smile almost all the time. This is what that office needs someone who genuinely cares such as Kathy and does not give off attitudes like most of them. I had the unfortunate experience of meeting Colleen ,the surgey coordinator and she was rude and mean to her own staff!!! I thought she was bad over the phone but she's much more rude and condesending in person! If it weren't for Colleen I'd give it five stars. read more
