The movers connected my washing machine but failed to connect the drain line, causing water damage from the second floor into the first floor of my home. The dryer vent was also left disconnected as well. Initially, the company appeared to accept responsibility by sending out a restoration crew to clean up the water damage immediately after the incident. However, after weeks of delays and "claim reviews," their attorney and insurance company ultimately denied the claim entirely based on the liability paperwork signed before the move. It is incredibly frustrating to deal with a company that responds one way in the moment, only to later refuse accountability for damage caused during the move. Accidents can happen. What matters is how a company handles them afterward. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling unsupported, misled, and stuck dealing with the consequences in my new home. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this company to carefully review all paperwork and fully understand what protections you actually have if something goes wrong.
