Completely racist daycare. Black people or people of color. Don't come here. I have a huge platform and will be sharing this. My son went to the kiwi clubhouse in Gahanna the teachers LOVED my son anytime my son came in they were all so friendly at THAT location When i came in yesterday to pick up my son the director was so friendly to all white parents keeping conversations with them. But when i walked in it was very short. Explained to the white parents what they did in class and just brought my son out and said bye. Then i proceed to bring my son in this morning and instantly walked in and told me a problem they had with my son the day before. Why not mention that last night at pick up? Told me my son put kids in a head lock etc. wether that were true or not the way they were with my son was as if they were disgusted with him. Mind you he's 2. He's learning. While the behavior is terrible and he's never done it at home or have never heard that from the previous kiwi club house the way they approached it and how they had been with me and my son since i dropped him off the first day. Was terrible so i removed us completely Whites only daycare. Sharing this on all my Instagram play forms as well. I'm completely disgusted. read more

I only use Kiwi's as a Saturday spot so the kiddo can socialize with kids her own age, and give me and Momma some time to ourselves. The staff is friendly, the locations are clean, and we've never come back to a kid who wasn't happy and beaming. Never any crying at drop offs. One of the better flexible daycares I've seen. Definitely recommend. read more

My son attended Kiwi's Clubhouse from infancy to 3 years. In the beginning, everything seemed fine, but over time, there was a significant decline in quality, though I may have been blind to the problems in the beginning. Every few months, the daycare and preschool had new caregivers, teachers, front desk staff and even directors. To my knowledge, no one who was there when we started was still there when we left, other than the owner. Once my son moved to the toddler room, and then the juniors room, the staff stopped regularly filling out care sheets, so I rarely knew when diapers were changed, potty training attempted, snacks or meals eaten, etc., despite my repeated pleas. It was common for my son's bag to come home with the same number of diapers I sent him with, which means he was sometimes going a whole day without being changed, which is unacceptable. My son had been unusually unresponsive to potty training and this was huge a factor (he trained almost immediately after leaving). Also, on many occasions, I would arrive to find his training cup completely empty of water. The juniors room, and to some extent, the toddler room, was a madhouse at drop-off most days, with children running around, screaming and throwing things, with little interaction from staff. My son stopped napping entirely while in the toddler room and that is certainly a result of how loud the adjoining juniors room is at most hours of the day (he now naps some days at his new preschool). Also, the juniors room is mixed ages 3-10, which is somehow legal, but a truly terrible idea. Administratively, it was a revolving door. It was not uncommon to hear a loud and angry phone call taking place in the office. The billing system has never adequately informed us how our money was being spent, and in the last months, they stopped sending invoices and started requiring us to make a separate request for them every month. The staff even forgot to inform preschool parents of their conferences, so we found out weeks later that we missed ours. My son was eventually expelled from the center for occasional, age-appropriate misbehavior, but the staff did not follow our agreed-upon plan for this and when he was kicked out, it came with no warning and left us scrambling to find a new provider, just two months before he was to start at another, more well-established center where he has since never exhibited the bad behavior. The only thing Kiwi's had going for it was that they were flexible in terms of hours, and that care was cheap for infants, but their rates don't decline as children age, which is unusual for daycare centers. They rope you in with competitive rates, but you will eventually pay way more than you need to for a place that doesn't provide diapers and isn't even licensed to serve their own meals or even refrigerate or reheat yours. And maybe it's to be expected for a daycare running out of a strip mall, but the playground outside is a joke, so most of the exercise your kids are going to get is in room with a high metal ceiling and hard floors, which sounds like an aircraft hangar full of screaming kids of all ages. In hindsight, it was a huge mistake to leave him here for so long, as it's clear that children need better care than they are willing to provide. Even worse, we've been told by friends who still attend, that since we've left, it has become increasingly dirty and filled with trash, that soap and toilet paper are not refilled properly, there are recurring incidents of adults screaming in front of kids, and that preschoolers are being given candy and sat in front of a television. They have also repeatedly failed ODJFS inspections. Please do not send your children here. Unfortunately, we waited too long to leave and this is no place for a child to thrive. My only hope is that his new care provider can undo some of the damage. They are already doing a phenomenally better job than Kiwi's. Please look elsewhere. We love Kiwi's Clubhouse! Our children have attended the center for 3 years, we utilized the infant through junior rooms, as well as the Wee School through PreK. Our children are happy, social, well spoken, love to learn and love art, and Kiwi's certainly played a big role in their development! We are heard by the center staff when we need to communicate needs, and are updated each day on the happenings of our children's day! read more

We are a huge fan of kiwis! My 5 year old daughter attends 3 days a week in Miss Tiffany's class and has loved every moment. She asks us every morning if it's a school day, and get so excited to go. The staff is professional, creative and attentive. The school is very clean, organized and all the teachers do an amazing job communicating and keeping the class fresh. My daughter has also spent time in the day care area if we cannot pick her up right after preschool and always has a blast. Not only is the preschool and daycare options affordable, I feel 100% confident in leaving my daughter in their care. read more

What a wonderful community to rest a sure you're leaving your most prize possession in great care. The staff is caring, professional and fully engaged. My son took awhile to get comfortable being left but each teacher couldn't have been more patient with him during this transition time. Now he enjoys Kiwi's where he plays with friends and cares for by wonderful teachers. We use Kiwi's on a part time basis which is why 4 stars but I'm sure if we used the full service a 5 star review would be achieved! read more

Kiwi's has been a lifesaver for us when our nanny is sick or something comes up last minute. We have 4 kids and everyone seems happy to go. I like that they come home with artwork and there are structured activities as well as outside playtime when they are there. read more

Kiwis Clubhouse is an excellent childcare facility! It is clean, new, staff are so friendly and caring, and my daughter loves coming here. Best of all, the are flexible and affordable! We've even gotten in several Saturday date nights after too many disappointing experiences of having sitters bail. I highly recommend this place! Regarding the 1-star review you might see below...sounds like a disgruntled job-seeker that wasn't offered a job. But, honestly, reading that review just confirms my faith in Kiwis staff selection. I'm sorry, but I agree that I would not want someone coming in to care for my child after being up all night on a 3rd shift job no matter how qualified they are.
