Of course the other bank charged me a fee as well. So this is 5/3 bank telling me that I'm responsible for maintaining their ATM, because they made me pay for it by charging a fee due to their equipment being down necessitating the use of another bank. Also, never try using their ATM on a sunny morning as the machine faces directly into the sun (unless you have super-vision). Absolutely no concern for customer convenience. I will find a bank that values their customers. 5/3, IMO and experience, does not. I'll be closing my account with this bank in a matter of days.

Nor did I realize it wouldn't prompt me to tell me funds wouldn't be available until after Christmas or checks weren't eligible for express check!! I deposited them Saturday!!! After my husband drove to Louisville to get a second copy of his bonus check because he lost the first one. That was every bit of money I had to finish my Christmas shopping for my 3 kids.... And I cried to IDK how many representatives at 800 number that was still open to help me to fix the problem considering I've never put a bad check in the bank and I've been a loyal customer for 11 years since they were National City... Especially since one of the checks was drawn on PNC and the other was my second job which I deposit from them regularly... They refused and said they couldn't do anything. and even once they were open on Christmas Eve the branch representative said they couldn't do anything... I'll be closing that PNC account first thing Thursday morning! Time to find a new bank... They have ruined my families Christmas and my Christmas spirit.
