It took 9 months to find this place, and I was losing hope, until I found the facebook marketplace listing for this place. I lived in CL most of my life, moving from town to town, but I had never heard of these apartments until I saw the post. They were quick and responsive to get me in for a tour, and were very up front and honest about how fast the apartments go here, I have had places scheduled 3 days in advance, drove 40+ minutes to go see it, and they tell me they don't have anything to show me. Luckily, Lindy was very nice and showed me the show room and said it wouldn't be much different from the 2 bed 2 bath I was looking for. After the tour and information received, she said I'd have to act fast because it really wouldn't last. I talked to my roommate, and we decided to apply right then and there. We got approved a few days later, and were a bit nervous because we couldn't see the place till we moved in, but it exceeded our expectations. It turned out so much better than any other place we had looked at, we finally had a home. They were also very sweet and gave us a little welcome home package :) Meanwhile, Lindy was so nice during the whole entire process, she said she'd help us find a home, and she truly did. Any questions I've had, she has always happily answered. We get newsletters every month, it's nice being informed, I wasn't aware we needed to change filters every 3 months, in the letter it states that, I emailed them and they replied the next day to schedule maintenance to come out. My dishwasher has also been leaking water, maintenance is here today and fixing it in a timely manner, and being very polite. I appreciate the leasing office and maintenance always being so kind, my roommate and I really enjoy living here so far! i've lived in other complexes who weren't as kind, all I can say is, Thank you!

I don't recommend- I've had nothing but NUMEROUS issues with my house after moving in. My windows…read morecurrently leak and pour water every time it rains (had to literally run around during tornado warnings with towels to try to secure the windows) and just got a message today from the company saying this was a problem from before they took over and they closed the work order. In my window sills there is literal growing mold because of the water that comes in, yet they're not interested in fixing it. Now I'll be contacting the code department to serve that the windows are not up to code and demand they get replaced. & did I mention they know I'm 3 days out from giving birth.. and the first time I contacted them about the windows was June 24, it's now Sept 11th- what a head ache. I believe they stage houses to look nice before you rent, then you move in and realize all of the problems you're about to endure. Also here is texts from there maintenance guys that even agreed the windows need replaced and are irreparable.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a choice as the building I was renting was purchased by a new owner who had Rent Great managing their properties during the end of my lease. As an educated and certified young professional working in forensics, this Company was screaming red flags from the second that they began communicating with me. Their website contained a page with staff names and the pictures of all the staff were pictures of babies. Nearly every email that was sent to me contained grammatical or spelling errors which I found extremely odd considering they claim to be an "accredited business."  I immediately felt like I was doing business with a bunch of uneducated children.  Before even asking me what I would be doing once my lease ended, they sent me multiple emails with move out instructions. I found it weird that this was the first communication I was receiving from them as the new owner. It took a turn for the worst when one day the power and heat in the building's stairwell, that the owners are required to provide per the terms of the lease, were not operating. This was the second time that this had happened in under two months. I emailed the new owners as soon as I noticed the outage as I feared that we would not have hot water nor heat for another 30 degree night. I also left a voicemail and submitted a maintenance request but heard nothing until the following morning. I received an email stating "you should certainly contact your former landlord and the former owners to ask why they have had this shut off even after we Transferred this service to our name. They are the ones who stuff of the power not us." Please notice the lack of professionalism,accountability, spelling errors, and grammar in this email. Given that they were new owners, I was confused why I or the previous owner would be responsible for finding a resolution. So, I called COMED and they informed me that the current management of the new owners had to contact them in order for services to resume. I informed the COMED agent that I was told by the new owners that I or the previous owner had to figure it out. The agent advised me to call the city to report the management agency. After the call, I emailed RentGreat expressing my frustration with not only the situation but the unprofessional manner that they were handling this. They quickly replied with the email attached stating that the situation was all my fault since I had called COMED reporting and outage, that I made the right decision to move out and that I was a nasty person. I was extremely taken back by the response considering this was coming from an "A+ Rated" Business on the BBB which they loved to share. It began to feel more like a threat and personal attack to ensure that I move out as soon as possible. I shared the email with my friends and family, and they were all stunned. Out of extreme frustration, a relative angrily called and confronted the individual that was sending the aggressive emails. Shortly after this call, I got an email informing me that they had received a "threatening and violent call" that they recorded and allegedly reported to the police. RentGreat "demanded that I cooperate with the police investigation regarding this matter." Before I finished reading the email, I received a phone call from a man named Jack at RentGreat who threatened that I cooperate with their police investigation and hung up before I could even speak. Minutes after the call ended, they sent me an email with a picture of my relative stating "They are assigning a detective from the criminal division to assist in this investigation" because their cowardly employee was seeking medical assistance for severe emotional distress signing the email "Sincerely, jk ." I couldn't help but laugh that their employee could hide behind a screen sending such unprofessional, malicious emails, but couldn't take it when it was given right back to her. If this employee is reading this, I recommend getting a real education and learning how to work in the field of business where you provide professional services to customers. I would also recommend growing some thicker skin if you're going to hide behind your screen firing off such vicious and hateful emails to individuals that are doing business with you.   If readers get anything from this review, I hope it is to NEVER do business with RentGreat. If you do, make sure you keep all the receipts of the comical yet unprofessional emails they will send you! It was comforting knowing that several other tenants in my building shared similar horrendous experiences with this company. Thanks RentGreat, you were so far from great! I look forward to never doing business with unprofessional, uneducated individuals like you ever again .

Rent it way too high for these tiny apartments and being forced to listen to your neighbors. In response to management's comment below, I wish someone had told me about the music and noise issue before I had moved in, even though I asked Isabelle specifically about it when I toured. I'd love to go to bed right now at 10:30pm but I can't with the bass bumping through the wall.

First off, when you first get approved and are able to check out the demo apartment you will probably love it and what not, but that's not what you're getting though. The demo shows the upgraded units however you may not get one as they are occupied.so why show something that isn't even the actual unit one will be getting? When you move in you have a checklist to fill out with any details or damages you may see or find but that's just to let them know about them. When you have an issue, whether is a closet door not closing or jamming you call maintenance but all they do is just literally lift the door and that's it. The issue comes back the same day. Issues "fixed" are not permanent just temporary. Is this what you want? Also the air vents are letting a lot of air escape therefore not flowing properly upstairs. Who installs an air vent right by the entry door?? Of course you're gonna be letting all the cold air out every time the door opens.just terrible planning when they made the units. Additionally you may need a lot of lamps as there is only 3 light fixtures on the whole apartment not including the two bathrooms lights. The closets do have lights but they are not bright and location of lights are bad. On the snowy days, maintenance don't even start plowing until after 8am, most people leave for work earlier than that and the whole parking lot is just an iceberg, I've seen people fall due to the area not getting plowed. Almost as if maintenance wakes up late for work. The headache to just get a response from the office is crazy. 3 girls in the office and only one of them knows her stuff. To summarize everything, FIND A DIFFERENT APARTMENT COMPLEX

The apartment was warm and modern, with oversized windows in both rooms for taking in the Fox River views. The hardwood floors gave and high ceilings gave the apartment a loft feel. The apartments were the best I saw in the general area. I was even more delighted to discover all but electricity was included in the rent (including DirecTV). Not only were these apartments spectacular looking, they were the most economical around. The quality of the rooms were accentuated by many of the other amenities that, if absent, would make life there challenging. Because they were there, life in these apartment was simply phenomenal. Secure indoor parking meant I didn't have to crawl through snow mounds to get to my car. in the winter. Clean storage areas and rigid controls on bicycle parking meant the hallways always looked clean and inviting. And finally, the management team at Fountain Square was top notch. I cannot say enough about the value a good property manager brings to the quality of life at a rental property. Oddly enough, I did get my full security deposit back. Katie was responsive and professional at every juncture of my stay there. She even rescued me when I locked myself out on my balcony at midnight. I cannot speak to other former renters' experiences with Katie, but I fully believe her strong adherence to certain cleanliness, noise and security standards are what make Fountain Square the most attractive rental property in the west Chicago suburbs.

Our unit -- and the living spaces throughout -- we're clean and maintained (of course, the maintenance and cleanliness of the tenant space is primatily the tenant's responsibility). Speaking from a nearly ten year perspective, we were very satisfied with Fountain Square. Now that we're back in a single-family home, I miss the conveniences, friendships, and consistency of Fountain Square living -- Amd we miss Elgin.

Pebbleshire Apartments in Vernon Hills is a great place to live…read more It's 1am and I'm tired so this review isn't going to be the best as far as grammar goes, but it is long overdue and the only reason it has taken me so long to leave the review is b/c I've been so busy with work & school. I lived here at the 930 complex from April '14 to April '15 and I'll give it a 5/5 star for many reasons, I'll list some here below but I won't lie if I say this is all that's good about the place or "bad": -Lisa is an amazing property manager. She is very open to working with you and makes sure all of the details within the contract are spelled out very easily and in great detail. -If there is ever anything that needs fixing, as a tenant it's obvious you need to bring this up and Lisa is one of the quickest responders I've seen in a landlord. -Any issues with maintenance are taken care of very quickly, obviously within a reasonable time constraint, but if there is an emergency the best man on the ground, Mario, is always happy to come help! - Miss this guy a lot, he is hands down nicest maintenance guy I have met. To me he isn't a regular maintenance guy by any means. He takes pride in Pebbleshire's complex and goes out of his way to make sure your living is up to par. -The price is reasonable for the area as well. Make sure you know how to budget though, it is an apartment and you don't want to be late! If you are late though, Lisa will do her best to work with you, however if you get a notice of possible eviction, well then it's most likely because you failed to meet your end of the bargain. As I mentioned before, she lays out the details of the contract in as black & white, crystal clear as possible, but she is a great person and very understanding property manager. - I really liked that it was very close to the metra for trips to the city -A trail to go running is right across the street that leads to a park, a basketball court and a playground for kids -There is a lot of parking available and your guests can park for free in the "guest" designated area which is awesome. -Appliances are fairly new and I had a new carpeted bedroom which was awesome. -It is near the mall, target, taco bell, burger king, fresh garden market, hwy 83, korean bbq, Walmart, a ton of other shopping areas, but it is nicely tucked into a neighborhood so you don't feel like you are living out on any busy roads. If you have questions and want to ask a recent tenet please feel free, but you might as well go and visit Lisa and have Mario show you around otherwise you will never understand what I mean when I say they are truly the nicest people.... in all honesty, I don't understand why there are some snobby landlords out there, especially those related to apartment associations, they don't treat tenants as people who are trying to find a place to call home, but pebbleshire, you make it your home and they let you. -Cheers!!!!!!!

I've always appreciated the amenities like 24-hour fitness facility, 2 pools, the dog park, and more! The maintenance and repair team is always responsive and respectful! They do annual maintenance for you which gives me a peace of mind about my living space! The location is amazing- near great food, shopping, and outdoor recreation fun! Perfect location. The apartments themselves are great! Modern and updated! In unit washer and dryer! Jennifer and Natalia have both been here during my whole 6 years and they're both wonderful! They're joys to work with- always helpful, kind, and informative! I truly recommend TGM Park Meadows.

I've complained many times and they never respond back to me. they send out this usesless email telling people to move there and that it's first come first serve. The management at this company sucks. Most family's have at least two cars and they have two small parking lots. If you are a single individual you will be screwed everytime you get off. I'm constantly getting sick from having to walk buildings down.
